I got 1 grass cutting job and 2 window cleaning jobs at the moment and I might have another grass cutting job in the bag and it thanks to people like you who made me get out there cause I started with 1 customer then into a couple of people
There is a lot involved for your business . I was a coalmine for over 20 year s . After the strike I went back for a bit , but it was not the same . So I went into your business . Being old school I not knock on doors . Lot of leg work 🙄 .. but did pay off . Customers got to know you which to me is important . Not on a scale as you . But it did pay the bills and food on the table . I enjoy it it . So good luck , and if you get near Doncaster let me know I need a tree trimming 👍
I haven’t done any of the above. To get my two clients, I paid 30 pounds for this website which will let me contact clients who require gardening work. Thanks for reminding men
Such a helpful video Rob. Thank you! Have messaged and mentioned you for setting up the website. Done Google business this evening, but my photos are all getting rejected, changed size, dimension, file size, everything, but still rejected. Going to have a break from it now, have a beer and relax. Thanks again.
Just found your channel today and want to say thanks, I started my own gardening business last year as a side hustle so hopefully your information can help it grow.

Hi Rob. Think I must have missed this vid? Anyway. As always. Here is my tow pennith. I've not got, or ever had, any social media or online presence. I work everyday and most weekends. That said. I've been in this game a few yrs now. So I have regular customers I've had for years to see me through. I still think in analogue. By brain hasn't made the transition to digital yet......thankfully. I think I should go "on line presence" but really. I wouldn't have time to fit in any new work it may create.

Otherwise your schedule gets mixed up.👍🏻

Very helpful content, can i ask your age as im thinking am i to old for this business at 50
I am 56 this year. Age is a number. It’s definitely physically challenging, build slowly.

If your busy and it works what you do , why change. For someone starting out it would be difficult without an online presence.

Nice video, how do you deal with cheap scaping people? I’m only getting with these kind situations
Drop them and move on. 👍🏻
Can you do a review on the Honda roller mower cause I’m thinking of getting a hayter
I will yes. Don’t buy the Hayter 48 pro. Too heavy, only good if the ground in bone dry.
All the best.

A company called your simple site.
£10 per month for everything. 👍🏻
I'm thinking of making my own gardening business in East Anglia what are your best tips
Try watching lots of UA-cam videos getting as much advice and information as you can.
Get your marketing right.

Dog mess that hasn't been cleaned before mowing gets charged as taken away waste for me. I didn't set up to clean up crap
You make an extremely valid point.
I should note that if the client is elderly or disabled and own a dog then I wouldn't charge. Its more of a lazy tax on everyday folk
