Awesome work rebuilding the level. I wish they chose a level without Sam to start the game as it kind of spoiled his whole dramatic death scene, you knew he would come back because of this boat sequence.
I really enjoy these cut content videos. Did you use the PC version of Uncharted 4? How you can access the 3D models from the game files? Thanks your answer in advance!
yeah, this is using the PC version. I used noesis and the naughty dog plugin made by "alphazolam" on github. Then I exported the models to fbx format to mess around with them.
While a great set piece to start the game, I always wished it wasn't used as such because it ruins the suspense of Sam's "death" scene because you already know he comes back years later....now I say this as someone who played the Uncharted games years after this one came out and only happened to catch a trailer or two on TV so I knew nothing about Sam. I guess ultimately it didn't matter that this spoiled Sam coming back because he's all over this game which almost certainly means he was in the marketing but it would've provided a unique experience for people like me who played the Uncharted games without seeing the marketing. By the time I got to Uncharted 4 I was already hooked so I didn't bother watching the trailers.
It would have been nice if they kept the cut ending of the boat sequence after the shortened cutscene version of the chase. The middle of the game sorely needed more action after the high of the Madagascar chase wore off.
The games intro was unnecessarily long even with the boat chase put at the beginning. And honestly, putting the boat in the intro made the pacing worse. There are literally THREE tutorials on how to use the rope. One in the orphanage, one in the prison, and one in the auction. It was ridiculous. Most of the games prologue could have been shortened via cutscenes. Walking through the hall with Vargas should have just been a 30 second cutscene at most, the orphanage chapter should have been way shorter than it was. But Neil Druckmann has no grasp on how to properly pace a game and this was even more apparent in The Last of Us 2
Another banger upload as always. 😎

Are we gonna pretend 95% of people already saw him in gameplay and in trailers from Sony?
@@RoniAmikam You have any idea how many people played the game long after it came out and therefore never saw the trailers.
This is amazing . I find these type of finds so fascinating
WOOOOOOO MORE BETA CUT STUFF
Love whenever you manage to collect this stuff. It’s nice to see a fan keeping the series alive, and you do it in such a compelling way. Thank you!

Thekempy I love this content very much you will make more of these
I hope you do find more cut content my favorite was the bit of audio from the old U4 of Nate and sully in java
Cut content is always sad
Would it be sad if it ruins or makes the game worser?

This
Game lacked action/setpieces
Damn that’s crazy
Does it have an NPC war?
