Yes sir, indeed. This boy- musical prodigy is one in a million. Until recently, I must admit that I did not know this song was from '68(?). I saw a Winwood/Clapton concert video while searching for something inspirational. My father and father in law are fighting for their lives at this moment. We are blessed with the presence of the Lord in both their hearts. So if we must say goodbye, they will be in His mighty arms. No more pain.
This is a great song. It was one of the songs my husband wanted at his funeral. I still listen to it occasionally, and still shed buffalo tears. So spiritual.
We just don't appreciate great things until we look back, nobody is turning music this good today, how did we go backwards musically from this glorious era of talent, people today just don't have any concept of what real music is, I am so glad that I lived through this era.

Eric Clapton wrote this song , look at Eric on stage you can’t get better looking than that . He is still playing and clean and sober. I love Stevie Winwood’s voice . I first heard this song when I was 13 years old . It has always stayed with me . Very spiritual song 💕💕💕💕💕

I love this song, there is hope in it. Eric wrote this one, Steve sings it beautifully. Later, Eric would have more confidence in his voice and developed to a good blues singer. He does sing this song in concert on the reunion.
I remember listening to this song, in 1972 on WPHD out of Buffalo NY. It was part of an interview program with Slowhand. I remember him saying he was doing a gig in Milwaukee and had some kind of epiphany and felt the spirit move him. His 'Come To Jesus' moment. I think this must have been on Creams last tour? He has written many gospel type songs, might as well rip off that form of black mans music along with the blues. I have been a big fan since The Yard Birds. A great artist, unique and unmatched by anyone, 3-time inductee in RRHOF; pretty, pretty, prettty... good!
I was fortunate to see Blind Faith in person, Madison Square Garden, NYC 1969. This was one of only a few concerts they played. The way I remember it, they played their whole first (and only) album. I was 20 at the time, and this was one of my favorite songs from that album.
For those of us that grew up at this time were so truly blessed musically. Can't remember what I had for lunch but remember all the words to songs from this time and every concert venue I went to.
Can’t agree with you there. Clapton’s solo is all chopped in the recording, he doesn’t have that wah pedal and the performance is good but not as tight.
I think they had to be in the presence of The Lord that day! The sun was shining (Hyde park no less), everyone was enjoying themselves, no violence and unmatched music. Every time I watch this I just want to cry......and long to go back in time.
Brother, cry openly.. cry for joy. For every moment is a miracle, in a sucession of miracles. I found the Lord through music, all in a single night's culmination of decades of experiences, and I finally recognized the path and began walking. The experiences, once began have continued effortlessly. Now I can be with him anytime, thanks to what I've learned in the presence many thousands of friends gathered together in His Name. Those days continue, they certainly didn't end 'Back in the day', and what we learned then still holds true. Isn't it wonderful, brother? Remember! (re... [return], member...[each of us a part of God] There! You've just experienced another miracle! The Hammond organ back in the day made the music so powerful especially if a Leslie speaker was used. Along with this song, Whiter shade of pale would not exist without the Hammond. The organ was designed for church's that wanted the pipe organ sound with a smaller budget. The Leslie speaker spun inside making the sound effects. All the amps during the 60's were tube amplified, and you can't beat that sound either. This is great footage, Thanks for sharing!

The entire band, a powerful force performing this. Though it seems new and different as they were together for such a short time. Call unto God / YHWH and He will show you great and mighty things *that you do not know* . Jesus is waiting with His arms wide open. This is the greatest Love.
Wish he had not smoked so much, as he died of pulmonary disease. Sad, and sure hope he did find the Presence of the Lord!
A real treasure! Thank you very much for posting this!
Fabulous video! Choked me up & gave me chills. It was a sweet time. I am blessed to have been of age at that time. Thank you soo much.
Excellent quality video and great music.
So much talent in this band!
This song is still so relevant today...
I have finally found a way to live
Just like I never could before.
I know that I don't have much to give,
But I can open any door.
Everybody knows the secret,
Everybody knows the score.
I have finally found a way to live
In the color of the Lord.
I have finally found a place to live
Just like I never could before.
And I know I don't have much to give,
But soon I'll open any door.
Everybody knows the secret,
Everybody knows the score.
I have finally found a place to live
In the presence of the Lord.
In the presence of the Lord.
I have finally found a way to live
Just like I never could before.
And I know I don't have much to give,
But I can open any door.
Everybody knows the secret,
I said everybody knows the score.
I have finally found a way to live
In the color of the Lord.
In the color of the Lord.
