Had Cream not disbanded when they did, I bet they would have made some bad records and stained their name. The infighting and tension between the members would have destroyed the music if it didn't destroy the group.

True music in the moment was the aim and putting big talents together was a receipt for breakup. Watching old Beatle's vid's only breaks my heart to see the anger between John and Paul. So sad. Mr Dave Mason seemed to think his britches too big for Steve Winwood, too bad. I still attend Winwood shows not Mr Mason.

Nice footage capturing an awesome scene at a point in time. Have to admit, I would go back if I could. And very interesting to listen with the perspective of 50+ years. You can hear them all in a kind of transition state. Cool to see Clapton on the Tele, and mostly content to sit back and play the simple melody. Winwood’s voice is so unique, and even though he breaks up here he sounds great so full of emotion, you can hear echoes of what is to come with his later stuff here. Ginger being Ginger, but like the others letting the music take center stage. No one here showboating, though any of them could - just play the music with respect and passion. And the audience is fascinating. I wasn’t there but coulda been. Mostly people watching and listening, with a few going nuts dancing. Was great stuff to listen to stoned on late 60s weak weed.

Clapton's playing is more like David Lindley's on this tune; nice to hear him playing laid back.

Nice singing by Stevie Winwood, some laid-back, contained country-ish Telecaster playing by Clapton with occasional Cream-like flourishes, Ginger Baker in fine form and Ric Grech is solid on bass. Good stuff.

Wow, i am 31 and got into Clapton about 10 years ago and i am reading his biography right now (which I had to imported from UK that's out of print). As i get through the book and realised that I have missed out a lot of historical moment in music history that every blues musicians such as myself should take notice of it.
Great piece of art work.... I love it.

I admit, this is my all-time favorite on the original Blind Faith studio album. Clapton and Baker having just come away from Cream, yet still bearing shades of it here, and Winwood taking his hiatus from Traffic, though you can hear shades of his future endeavors (John Barleycorn, Low Spark (albums), with them here.
A previous poster said it best. "You will NOT see or hear such musicianship today." And I'm only 33 in years. Rock on. :)

From my experience, it’s more likely he’s fighting a cold or some other malady. Happens to every singer at one time or another. These notes aren’t out of his range.

Beautiful job of putting this stuff together by a group of guys who all could have been elsewhere doing other rockstar stuff. Melodic and intense. Happy and sad. Aggressive and restrained. Clapton at his best. Steve happy as a jaybird.
