I love that you posted this, not only because I get a better insight of what you like on a car, but because I'm also shopping for wheels for 350. But I agree with your assessment. SV 701 20" is the way to go. Incredible looking wheel.
I would keep what you have on the car now.One of the great things in my opinion that makes the GT350 /GT350R stand out are the stock wheels. These others wheels seem to give it the look of just another custom mustang. Just my opinion your car your money so each to his own. Good luck with whatever you choose. Great videos and great content look forward to more.
Check out 949 Racings 6UL's, they're forged monoblock, strogn as hell, designed to stand up to racing, come in a great color, and the guy designed the 19's specifically for his GT350. Their 15" wheel is super popular on Miatas
There’s a guy with a red s550 I’ve seen at car shows in my area and he has the M-X3 in Patina Gold and I’m telling you these look even way better in person and just look incredible. I would love to see these on your GT350 👍
Man those look great. Crazy I just met Terrance this week at Sonoma he was lowering his car. Super cool dude. I think those may be the wheels for my ZR1 thanks for the video.
Anything but gloss black, eeeek! Those 5 spokes look great, easy to clean and nice lookin'. Can't deny your favorite but get that gray though, can't see any details with gloss black until you get right ontop of them!
I got the replica R wheels on my 16 GT350 and love them. Stick with 19" wheels 20s just look to big on the GT350. I was able to put 345/30/19 on mine looks awesome and hooks up great plus mine is procharged.
You didn’t mention anything about needing backspacing. I remember you said that in another video of yours that you didn’t want any backspacing. Also how would going to 20 inch effect the magna ride life expectancy... thanks
Unrelated to this video but have you had any issues with your Shelby burning through oil? Also have you heard of any of these cars breaking connecting rods with little to no mileage (under 1000) and stock
Thanks to Terrance from Signature, i passed on the P51 wheels due to fracturing. Even though I was only going to run them on the street. Not a fan of the either P6R5s or the 7s. Also just look wrong. Front R350 are only 10" wide. Vibe Motorsports is the exact replica of the CF R wheels, not bad for $3900 a set but maybe later on down the road. MRR M600s also are out (not a fan of the M6G rep, had crap experience when I bought their M350 wheels for my 15 GTPP) and ended up going with GT7s, OEM width and offsets. I have a magnetic 18 350.
All of those wheels seem like good choices. Out of the choices in the video I'd pick the signature SV501(looks clean and aggressive). Another option if you're looking for a good durable forged wheel would be some of the japanese brands. Take a look at the Advan GT and the Work FMB01.
Not sure about budget, but for mine I’m socking some cash away to get the actual carbon rev 350r wheels. 1. Aesthetically , the gloss black and simple design is a “less is more” approach 2. Functional, super light and strong. 3. A carbon fiber wheel is just cool lol. Some of the signature designs are just a little too exotic looking for me. I like the vossen options more..
Auto Fanatic the SVE Wheels are Carbon? I hear you on the confusion, me personally I don’t care if anyone thinks my car is an R or not. Based on your options I would go with that first Vossen wheel! Gloss black 20 x 12 rears
@@autofanaticcars As a fellow New Yorker I subscribed today. The SVE R350 that you had were they R spec? The 701s would really bring the car to the next level in my opinion. Great looking wheel. As for tires you should check out the Nitto G2 tires great price and quality.
Well I liked all the wheels you selected except for one, the five spoke vossens. They are a gorgeous wheel no doubt but I think just on that black car and in gold they look good, on your car I dont think it would look the same on yours, other than that I dont think you can go wrong with your choices
I would go with the SV701! I would recommend the 19 inch since you already lowered your GT 350......20 inch wouldn't look or perform better plus with the 19's you have more tire than wheel. As far as the finish all 3 would look great with the red but personally I would go gloss black....I hope to get a new GT 350 in a month and I'm also looking for a different set of rims...my favorite color is Kona Blue so what do you think would look good on it? Love the video & drive that bad boy!!!
As always I admire the method by which you approach all your decisions. The wheel choices, you favored, left me kind of empty, your wheel designs seemed too light in appearance in balance with the overall look of the GT350. As an owner of the Project 6GR seven spoke wheel I'm partial to that look as it seems to be a perfect balance of mass in relation to body. The five spoke wheels are too bold and resemble every Camero and Dodge product on the road, so they aren't even a consideration. I think you need to keep researching wheel options as I wasn't wowed buy any of them except, maybe, the Vossen M X-3 in the brushed silver was probably the nicest looking, and would look great on that Red 350 of yours. Anyway, thanks as always, for your wonderful informative videos>
it does do you think on my red car i would look good or gloss black? I am leaning gloss black for the contrast with the rest of the gloss black accents
@@autofanaticcars I have a red mini Cooper jcw with the black accents and roof, I looked into black gloss wheels and decided against them it needed something to break the theme, Imo I like something contrasting but still very clean and aggressive to appreciate the machining cuts in the wheels.
How you doing sir, your 350R is a beauty... I had a question.. on the 19s you’re running on it.. what set up? Is bc I have a 2019 Bullitt and I bought a set of rims and they’re 19x10 front and 19x11.5 rear, the rims are on the way but I wanted to know what size tires to get.. bc my Car is lowered and I don’t want any problems rubbing or anything like that... I’ve been reading and I was thinking a tire set up 295/30/19 front and 345/30/19 but idk.. you’re the expert here, so if you could please help me out and guide me on the tire set up for a lowered 2019 mustang
My friend AutoFanatic...…. you had the wheels already but in the wrong color. The GR6 5 spoke. You had them in black. The first thing I did was ditch the black stock wheels for the GR6 5 Spoke Satin Graphite and they look sick! I switched the center caps to red with a chrome Cobra. Seems like everyone has black wheels on most sports cars and you can't really appreciate them visually cuz everything is darkened out and the tires blend in with them. It's boring and redundant in my opinion. I like to be different. These are not to dark or too light for any car color and are easy to clean. I coated them so the break dust doesn't stick too bad and comes off easily. Very affordable also and they give the car a mean azz aggressive look. The open five spoke are great wheels but are barely noticeable. The big rotors is all I see eating them up and the spokes are too thin in my opinion. When you are cruising they won't be noticeable. I liked the 5 spoke but personally I don't want to go to 20 inches. I think they might be heavier and affect performance and give more noise. I run mine hard every now and then. I didn't buy this car to just cruise. K nuff of me and my opinion. Great videos. Keep em coming and good luck!!!!
those wheels stick out in the back kicking up rocks and damaging paint and there is also a serious clearance issue in the barrel for the front calipers where they cause rocks to get stuck and destroy the caliper paint or bend easily and destroy the caliper completely. this is why I need custom offsets and a fully forged wheel. Signature has perfect clearance in their wheel designs in 19 and 20.
wow! what kind of roads they have in New York? I haven't had any issues with calipers or paint or rocks or even any fender rubbing if they are sticking out in the back and I have lowering springs on mine also. only place I got a little debris was on the sideskirts so I put a rock blocker in there for 15 bucks. anyway, good luck and keep us posted.
forgot to mention I have a 2018 and it has a little fender shield that sticks out a little. I think u have a 2017. not sure if they came with that or not
Why in the heck did they take several hours to balance??? Either someone didn't have a clue what they were doing, the balancer was trash or something was seriously wrong. The Vossens look the best.
What about HRE?, the sv701 will look good with the race red IMO. BTW, the 007 Gloss Enhancer is freaking awesome man, you know what you're doing for sure.
the Wheels @6:20 look just like Vossens. Also go with 20's. You'll thank yourself later. I also hate black wheels, they look like steel wheels covered in brake dust.
Sorry I'm late to the party. Good informative video for GT350R owners to be :) Where in NY are you? Are the SVE 350R wheels still available? Also, what did you mean by "Hunter Force Match Balanced"? Thank you!
Please do not put on the GNS-1 and no gold look. But M-X3 in black, gorgeous. SV-108 in black, very nice. And yes the SV-701 in black, stunning. Hard choice between those 3. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, honestly.
yeah they are my fav so far, cant decide on sizes, i would like to stay 19 but it will drop my car 1 full inch and cause issues on the front nose that is my concern since now my car is already lowered. 20;s might be a cool change and i do not see any reason for a performance issue since the weights are all the same.
I’ve just secured a set of the new APEX SM-10 wheels in 19x11. I’m considering running the Michelin P4S in 305/30R19 square. That would reduce my tire height from the factory non R setup. Did you do any speedometer calibration when you were running the 30 series sidewall? Thanks
hands down......the silver vossens....not sure if i spelled it right./too bad u cant put a set of SS CHROME CRAGERS ON YOUR CAR.....NOTHING WOULD COME CLOSE...PEOPLE WOULD GIVE U THUMBS UP EVERWHERE.
The SVE 350R wheels are not R "spec". They're an inch narrower in the front and 1/2" narrower in the rear vs the true R spec. They're also flow formed so not as strong per weight as a fully forged monoblock like the Signatures. At $1000 a set they're much cheaper but if you're looking for true performance and want to run 305 up front and either 315 or 325 out back, the only options are 6GR and Signature. The 6GR are heavier and weaker and have clearance concerns but are half the cost of the Signature. Signature wheels are about as good as you'll get compared to the real McCoy carbon fiber wheels. In some models they can get as low as 19 and 20 lbs front to rear in a 19" wheel with 11 and 11.5" widths. You won't find a lighter wheel (equally as strong) in those dimensions made out of Aluminum. Signature is the best performance for the money right now at slightly heavier than the CF but at 1/4 the cost. The rest of the offerings in the market are either heavier, not as strong, have brake clearance challenges, or don't even offer the true 350R configuration. Signature also offers other perks like fully customizable to your desired offsets as well as anti-slip knurling at the bead point to help spinning the tire on the rim under hard braking and acceleration. Doesn't do much good to match and roadforce balance just to have the tires spin on the wheel, which becomes a real issue at lower pressure for track use and the brutal brake forces involved in making a 3800 lb car screech to a halt with 15.5" 6 piston brakes. Buy once cry once. Go Signature.
WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SIGNATURE WHEEL ? IM ASSUMING SIGNATURE IS JUST THE NAME OF THE WHEEL SERIES BUT NOT THE NAME OF THE RIM U ARE REFERRING TO. HOW MUCH ARE THEY FOR THE R-SPEC SIZES AND WHERE CAN I PURCHASE THEM IF U DONT MIND SHARING.? Thank you..
Auto Fanatic awesome try something new like some mixes I do that sometimes im not even pour water in my foam cannon, you can regulate it, Im crazy about foam sometimes is all over the rooftop of the house lol
@@autofanaticcars cool, also, I found a pretty slick gt350 on google. Running 20 inch Signature Sv104. Take a look if you like, google chrisrgonzales's 2016 Ford Mustang RWD. Should bring up the pics. I believe the image is off Custom Offsets website. As always, thanks for sharing your content. Always awesome
The challenge with running square is the offsets on the 350 don't match. The fronts and rears are almost an inch difference. So if you run the front offset, the wheels on the back will be snugged in and might create rubbing issues. If you run the rear offset, your front wheels are going to sit out beyond the fender (and probably give you suspension geometry issues with toe, etc). There's guys running square in 305 and 295, which helps with the rear inward/rubbing issues, but I'm not sure what the negotiated/combined offset is that they're running. I suppose they can get it close enough that it doesn't look funky and doesn't affect suspension geometry too much, but it comes at the cost of running smaller tires all the way around vs. what the car/engineers designed, which is 305 up front and 315 rear with different offsets.
any true forged monoblock will be plenty strong i never broke one yet, the 3 piece wheels can be iffy depending on vendor on these roads because some use cheaper barrels that bend easily.
Brushed with tinted clear was the finish I wanted! But that's on my black/yellow S197. I've talked to one of the guys at Signature wheel since one of the GT350 guys (han solo) lives about 10 min away from me. Might be test fitting some for the S197 platform.

Thank you..
The General check out their website. They also have different sales reps depending on what type of vehicle you're running.
Signature Wheels are EXPENSIVE AS FKKK'!!!...not to mention the wheels are only made after you place the order. 2-3 grand per wheel.
I love the 701’s
if the 1st set of 5 spoke rimms were chrome.....oh would they pop on your car!!
Where can I purchase the ford center caps you had on the sve wheels? Thank you
Sv701 for sure buddy
Looks good
id say get the 20s just so you won't have that big wheel well gap
Beautiful!
How did you get the red brembos?
Do you use any coating on your car windows? If you do, what do you recommend?
Thx
D. Smith
yes my 007 Gloss Enhancer on glass and paint, works incredible.
That is a good looking car🤤👍
Did you say before you get rid of the car?
SV701 is my favorite.
What's the weight on some of these wheels? I'm in the market for some lighter wheels. I like the 701s and the vossens.
under 25lbs per wheel in a 20X11
Hey man, do more videos about washing your car with different products soaps mix ect.
in due time been busy lately the car needs a wash tomorrow.
Auto Fanatic awesome try something new like some mixes I do that sometimes im not even pour water in my foam cannon, you can regulate it, Im crazy about foam sometimes is all over the rooftop of the house lol
I like 20 inch personally. If you went 20, could you still do 11 front 11.5 rear. Or would you have to stay 10.5 front and 11 rear
11 up front and rear
Will the Sv701's be strong enough for your roads?
any true forged monoblock will be plenty strong i never broke one yet, the 3 piece wheels can be iffy depending on vendor on these roads because some use cheaper barrels that bend easily.
Are your svt wheels and tires still available
no they are long gone but if that is the style you like i highly recommend the SVE wheels, great quality and value.
Brushed with tinted clear was the finish I wanted! But that's on my black/yellow S197. I've talked to one of the guys at Signature wheel since one of the GT350 guys (han solo) lives about 10 min away from me. Might be test fitting some for the S197 platform.
The guy you showed in the video haha
I’ve got several style Shelby Wheels if you are interested
701’s look the best
