  • On June 11, 1939, Serge Claude Bogusslavsky walked into the musée du Louvre, cut Watteau's L'Indifferent off the wall, and walked out the door.
28 years after the Mona Lisa was stolen, and the Louvre hadn't updated the security much since the somewhat perfect crime occurred. However, Watteau's painting didn't reach the same level of fame as the Mona Lisa.
Why did Serge steal it and then return it two months later? Well, you will have to watch the video to get all the answers and see the painting as well.
Join me for a walk through my happiest place on earth, the Musée du Louvre and the streets of Paris.
