My favorite thing about PF2 so far compared to D&D 5e is illustrated here. Starting Lizardfolk get everything they get in 5e, and then with Ancestry Feats coming at 5th, 9th, 13th, and 17th level, they keep getting more and more lizard-powers from that ancestry. The best part is that every Ancestry does this; elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes, humans, orcs, catfolk, tengu, etc. Also, since these are tiered feats, they keep getting more powerful as you go up.
I have no clue what you mean. There's nothing funny or inappropriate about these feats. They're just magical abilities gained from the Iruxi bloodline.
Good to see that they kept the flaw to intelligence. That's back from their days in D&D. In D&D lore, the god of the lizardfolk separated into twin beings of strength and cunning, and disavows intelligence. Wizards amongst the lizardfolk are shunned for this reason, and often exiled or killed.
@@nicholasromero238 In D&D's the Forgotten Realms, there is a deity called the World Serpent. It is split into several essences, each a different avatar of its aspects. It is largely worshipped by the Yuan-Ti, akin to the Nagaji from Pathfinder.
Yeah, but the Golarian lizardfolk are more of a species in decline due to their long mating process that once was a powerfull and glorius empire back during the age of lizards (and a global-scale one, I guess with kind of a Dinotopia feeling to it), they also don't seem to have deities of any sort but revere the great beast they once tamed, hence their huge reptilian conection. Frilled Lizardfolk is cool for Braggart Swashbuckler. You just gain an Intimidating glare plus the ability to inflict frightened 2 instead of 1 at almost no cost. Very nice improvements for a character based on Demoralizing
There are not many ways to gain a permanent swim speed but things like Raging Athlete, Flamboyant Athlete, Favored Terrain (aquatic) and the Feet to Fins spell give plenty of options to temporarily gain a swim speed in order to utilize the benefit of Terrain Advantage.
Enlarge is a polymorph effect, so do you become immune to other polymorph effects since this is permanent or just need to attempt a counteract check every time to ignore it for a while? Definitely not for every character
Pretty sure that Spirit Strike bypasses the max number of property runes on Handwraps, so if you already have Flaming Vicious Handwraps, you *couldn't* just buy a Ghost Touch rune, but you can get it this way.
That's exactly what I'm using it for. I'm putting all of my damage into my claws, and the ghost touch is icing on the cake.
