Try watching Svetlana Zakharova. I know, I know, she’s way too hyped, but trust me she was perfect and so was the orchestra. Tried watching Dupont in this pas de deux but her feet was sickled and the orchestra wasn’t good especially the part when Nikiya was revealed-the flute went out of tune.
F Mariotti : j read you often ( j see videos also comments ) try to see " La Bayadere-1994 Paris Opera and answer if you want what about Isabelle Guérin in Nikiya , if you want she's a very beautiful ballerina . ... J don't think write a mistake about Guérin
SYLVIE GUILLEM - the greatest prima ballerina OF ALL TIMES. Sylvie continues the greatest French tradition of classical ballet. WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THAT THE CLASSICAL BALLET WAS INVENTED IN FRANCE IN SEVENTEEN CENTURY AT THE COURT OF KING LOUIS 14 OF FRANCE. The first rules of a classical ballet were established in Italy during the Renaissance. So Russia has NOTHING to do with creating this form of art. The poor Russians adopted with great enthusiasm this form of art - classical ballet - for ONE reason only. THIS FORM OF ART - THE CLASSICAL BALLET IS TOTALLY APOLITIFCAL. SO YOU CAN DO 'SWAN LAK'E' - 'YEBBINNOYE OZIERO' IN RUSSIAN AND STILL SLAUGHTER MILLIONS OF INNOCENT AND DEFENSELESS VICTIMS. SYLVIE SIMPLY TOTALLY DESTROYED THE 'LEGEND' OF THE RUSSIAN BALLET. ANYWAY, THE GREATEST MALE DANSER IN THE HISTORY OF CLASSICAL BALLET WAS A POLISH GENTLEMAN BY THE NAME OF WACLAV NIJINSKI.
There is a case of the Russian dancer Zakharova;, who is trying so heard to imitate the GREATEST SYLVIE GUILLEM - with the pathetic results. Zakharova HAS NO PRESENCE ON STAGE SHE IS RIGID, AND AS A TECHNIQUE SHE IS SIMPLY MEDIOCRE.
Actually Guillem admires Zakharova. As for me and as much as I adore both of them, I give the laurel of the greatest dancer of the generation to Uliana Lopatkin of the Mariinsky Ballet.
"dans la Bayadere de Nureev"? Really? It might surprise you to know that the creator of the ballet was your great compatriot, Marius Petipa. In 1992 Nureev staged the version he remembered from hi Mariinsky's days, that of Sergeyev. He did add very few fragments of his own, which I must point out are neither brilliant, nor fitting.
Thank you for uploading Sylvie Guillem videos! I hope there are more to come
La Magnifique!! Sylvie is unsurpassed.
Un des plus beaux ballets. La version 1992 de Noureev à l'Opéra de Paris était une splendeur, les décors et les costumes de toute beauté.
unbelievably captivating!
She's definitely the best ‼️
What gorgeous dancing!
Sylvie is the best!

You do not know what you are talking about!
