This was his last ditch effort to not get fired. The Liberty Jaw is an absolute Animal!

Thats an impressive operation. You bought the right equipment for the job and yeah its a big expense but the return is greater esp with the sand and it being all state spec for asphalt. Nice job.

Thank you. This was a bit of an experiment as we went but glad we took on the project.

Months late comment here, this awesome video awesome host. I like seeing rock or stone being crushed and made into aggregate and road base material and gravel and stockpiled. The camera angle is perfect your explanation of the material usage is nice. I see as lot of material videos and always wanted to know what do they do with the material. Keep up the good work

Yeah there's a similar operation north of here doing nearly the same thing but mostly crushing the reject blocks to make gravel. My boss bought several truck loads for his driveway now it doesn't get muddy in the spring and there's very little dust when its dry out.

it makes an awesome base material but is very costly to manufacture

John, have you guys thought about putting that riprap plant up on a pad to direct feed the jaw with it. Eliminate that 988F rehandle.

Yes, ideally the jaw carrier would be longer and have a trapdoor to pull out fines. Having to handle the material over and over definitely added cost to the project

Working on a different carrier design to fix that issue in the future. planning to attack this project again this year with a better strategy

Damn. that's a very equipment intensive process. you must have to charge at least $15/ton for the work.

Yes indeed. This stuff ended up being pretty pricey but we were able to sell everything we produced
