  • Watch how we repurpose old concrete with a jaw crusher, turning waste into usable aggregate for construction projects. Concrete crusher excavator :)!!!
We are using a Volvo 290 excavator to feed our Sandvik crusher & screener to make surge stone and crush and run for construction projects. This recycling operation is located at Williams C&D Landfill in Graniteville, South Carolina. #recycling #concrete #sustainable ‪@volvocena‬ ‪@SandvikMining1‬

Nice jaw crusher . I had a small jaw crusher I used to crush broken Antique Brick to use as landscape stone when I had Antique Brick company . Very popular product . I was selling 2 million antique brick per year until I retired and sold the business . Anytime you can recycle a product that normally ends up in a landfill or used to fill in low lands for more apartment complexes or strip malls . Great video and the products y'all are getting out of the crusher are some great stuff . Keep the videos coming .

Im retired now, but i put some material through a jaw crusher and a blow bar crusher . You gotta be so careful with rebar its pretty stressful .Especially if you don't pre munch it with a excavator with a muncher on it. Lots of clips to repair and ive seen new belts get destroyed fast.

Crushing concrete, complemented with some "rock" music 😂💪
Interesting to see the workings of the plant. In my view, the jaw crushers appear to be a lot more efficient than the rotating hammer type.
We replaced out concrete garden path a few years ago, I took up the concrete with a sledge hammer, then used a club hammer to reduce the size of it down to 25mm minus to reuse as sub base for the new flagstones I laid. Took some time to break up the two tonne of path, but saved me a bunch of money on skip hire and buying in sub base. Time rich, money poor for sure 😂

shame the driver cant keep the jaw full with a 29 ton digger, most of it is just falling thou the jaws if you keep the jaw full it crush it smaller and better he has a big bucket so should be full all the time but the crusher isnt lever its sitting back so thats not helping should be level or leaning into the jaw not away from it, as for the bigger bits we just drop one on another and brake them dont have a breaker every time we we go crushing, that crusher would do way more in a day than there putting thou it easy

We have a local guy that crushes concrete and I have had problems with the demolition material still having a lot of steel left in it . One of our local concrete companies crush their truck left over material and it’s completely clean. I was just wondering if you separate yours?

No, unfortunately, we don’t have time to separate but the majority of it is washout material so it’s pretty clean
