Idk why I watched this lol. I have the apple keyboard folio for my iPad and it’s prefect for me. The biggest downside is the lack of a case but that’s easily reminded by purchasing a case that’s open on the side of the Smart Connector
I have an ipad 9 and found a really cheap used version of the Logitech Combo Touch to buy, but it’s from 2 years ago and it only specifies compatibility withthe 7th and 8th generation ipad. But i’m thinking that’s because the 9th wasn’t out yet, because i noticed on their website that now they say it’s compatible with all 3 generations. So what do you guys think, would it work for my 9th gen ipad?
You should get it I have one and it’s amazing. It helps me a lot because I’m a artist and website coding student in high school. it helps with multi tasking and if I’m working in the dark it’s safe for me because I can adjust it. it protects my iPad my little cousin threw on the floor and my I pad and keyboard are perfectly fine. Plus it so much cheaper than a laptop with full coverage
technically you can use it because ipad 9th gen uses the same connector like the prev gen ipad. it’s the same with apple pencil 1 compatible with both ipad9 and ipad 10 gen

@@Hse-d7c i have a logitech keyboard K380 it was working properly but recently it's not working properly that's why I was trying to buy this as this is 2 in 1 so I thought so it would be good
As much as I like Logittech and the case itself, I can't justify buying it for that price, when I can get one for a third or even a fourth of the price on amazon, that has a keyboard and does the job just as well.
All the other ones are dog shit compared to this. If you don't have the cash right now. I promise you this case is worth saving up for to get a true laptop experience out of your iPad.
@@gsxerwhite its not a money issue though. there are some very real cons that I dislike, one being that you cannot use the keyboard because it must be connected to the ipad itself, that is a huge loss in terms of versatility and comfort if I ever want to type further from my ipad for whatever reason. @@thefunk6815it is the same for the proprietary keyboard from apple. there is no other options for bluetooth with this good quality that is compatible with the ipad. if you prefer using bluetooth, youre better off with the bluetooth keyboards from ebay or amazon. but with the quality keyboards, it is frequently directly connected to the ipad, no matter what model of ipad you get. also, connecting it directly to the ipad has dozens of advantages. like latency issues, power issues. connectivity issues, and the list goes on. also. i promise, that it is almost impossible to get a keyboard that has usable trackpad that compares to the logitech’s keyboard.
Hi! Thank you very much for making this video 😊 do you know if having a screen protector will interfere with the way the Logitech keyboard will fit when closed? Sometimes screen protectors are a bit thick
Hi! To answer your question, I don't think so - but of course depends on the type of screen protector you have - the thicker ones tend to peek over the edges, which might interfere when putting the logitech case on, but honestly, if you place it into the case carefully from one side first, then just carefully slot all other 3 sides over the screen protector, you wont have an issue, I'm sure of it.
Hey, does the keyboard stay connected while the iPad is detached? I currently am trying out Logitech Slim Folio and it won’t type if I take the iPad out and put it in a stand 😢
I have the combo touch on iPad Pro 11in and i do find that the mouse disconnected from the iPad and freezes too. :( apart from that it all works except I accidentally got the wrong colour case for the iPad!
hey what if the boxing on the front says ipad (7th and 8th generation) and you have a 9th gen ipad? should you take back and get the correct keyboard or just stick with the original box?

No need for a mouse. It works great with the trackpad on its own. But you can try with an apple mouse tbh if you find it more comfortable, should be the same thing.

I think thats based on the apps, and it not recognising a tab command from the keyboard. I can't 100% say for sure, but thats what I would guess.
