- Hey there guys, Tommie From Richfield-Bloomington Honda here with my 2000 Honda Civic Si! Had this car for about a year and I've decided to sell it on BringATrailer which auctioned off for $15,500.

Facts! They should've produced these at least until 2005. I tried to buy one in 06 but couldn't find anything that wasn't heavily modded that was within 300 miles of me.

I had 2000 honda civic lx when working in US. It saved me a lot.. It was a beatiful green color automatic car.. so much advanced at its time. i made upto 20k km and then the bank took it. I even did a cross country drive in it...
Back in January 1999 I was in the market to get a Honda Civic. Now I wanted to get the SI but I knew my wife and I were going to start having children soon so I ended up getting a 4 door Civic EX. That was January 1999. On November 07 1999 we were blessed with our first daughter Maya. She’s always known the civic and I would always tell her that that was going to be her car one day and guess what, today Aug 01,2019 she got her license and guess what she’s asking for now? But of course the civic. I’m going to have to admit something, I really don’t want to pass it to her LOL. The civic is in great condition, I’ve installed SI rims and since I’m only 6 miles from work it only has 136K miles!! Not bad for almost a 20 year car. The car drives great. I get asked all the time if I want to sell it. Now the time has come for me to let go, it’s sad cause it’s a cool car, yes it’s a 4 door and not a SI BUT it’s still cool and more importantly it’s been hers since she was born. Now i just bought my wife a 2018 touring edition accord and of course I get a handy down GMC YUKON, LOL
My first car was the same. Same spoiler, tint, color. Great for learning about na and ff. I still have dreams of having it back, 20 years later.
Mint condition! I remember seeing these on the floor in 2000 when it was brand new and I bought an Accord V6 coupe. I remember they tried to talk me into one of these to save moeny but I wanted the Accord instead. This would be a great car for the collector:)

This was one of my favorite cars that I ever owned. Mine was almost identical without the wing. I bought mine in 2006 from a Honda Dealership and kept it stock. Unfortunately, it got stolen and was found with the fenders, hood and the stock B16A2 motor missing. It was a fun and nice car. After I got an AP1 s2000 and had that for a few years. That was also a fun car but I felt that I enjoyed my si more.
I had my black one stolen also, worst feeling when I saw it gutted.
@@botelloheritage12 My wife and I had tears in our eyes when we saw my car. I miss it so much. Maybe it's because I'm older but I saw the new SI yesterday and the color was nice but something about that iconic 2000 model was great. I know you feel, it's heartbreaking. I hope you were able to get another car that you enjoyed :)

I’m not kidding when I say this but I would have paid full price for it. 17.8 which what is sold for in CA in 2000. But with e OEM leather seats is probably even considered 19k. Wish I saw this sooner.

I have a 00 Civic Si black too, 8 years later and still love it... it needs a paint job tho but still ok, love the simplicity, Handling and the looks of my Si, plus 99-00 civic has the cleanest dashboard of all time, sorry yours was stolen :(

I had this car and a greedy turbo I blew it up with 16k borred it out and q
12 pounds of boost turned a 12.454 quarter mile it had 290 hp to the wheel stock it was 160 and its a front wheel so probably more like 130 to the wheel

carpetrug01 ur crazy its corny af changing the original stereos on these cars the point is to get that nice original classic jdm feel. Im not gonna get that with some fuckin aftermarket bullshit. Plus this is a damn piece of history why would you ruin it with some trash ass stereo.

No leather option for the 99-2000 si just letting you know.. But Beautiful si I have the exact one same colour too and almost the same condition you will regret selling it I'd keep it and save for whatever you are planning on buying she's a rare bird and in one of the best conditions I've seen one in the last 10 years
hondafanaticsince 1985 it was an option for the leather interior back in 99-00 for the si model some dealership would call it the scsi "show case si" I got mine when they first came out with the leather interior in northern California at the Fremont auto mall..
