Thank you, saved my time and nerves to choose! By sound I definitely go with Aula. I even went to store to try out. Sound is perfect. By the way greywood sound same as ice weins switches. Only doubt is a color. Not the best color combos.
The North Facing RGB shouldn't be a problem since the leobog switches have long stem (travel distance is less than 4mm) hence there won't be any interference when using cherry profile keycaps. The fact that the keyboard comes with cherry profile keycaps itself says it all. If you change switches later on just try to get one that has less than 4mm of travel distance.
Aula F75 still has better build quality imo, but yes you lose the screen. The creamy sound is largely due to the Gateron milky red switches I put on it. For ease of disassembly I’ll give it to the ak820 pro.
@@MechWhisper Gotcha, thanks for the input, isnt the gift switches on the AK820 Pro also as creamy as the Milky reds? I found other reviews on this board and it sounds as good aswell. On the disassmbly part. I dont really plan on modding it since it already sounds good, ill probably just lube the switches and stabs or probably replace it with other switches if the budget allows :)
@@smurfros Hey! I recently bought the Aula F75 and replaced the switches with lubed KTT Kang White V3's and it has upgraded the experience to another level. Switching out the reaper switches is definitely a good idea.
@@ricebowlval Yea marbly isnt really my taste in terms of keyboard sounds, is the KTT Kang White V3's creamy in this board? Currently have the Graywood v3s and it has a mix of creamy and clacky, is it worth the upgrade?
@@smurfros i think it's extremely creamy feeling but some keys do feel like they're a little clacky. ihave a soundtest on my channel but it's not tooooo great.
This was really helpful, thanks a lot, I think I'll buy the F75 because if I were to get the AK820 I'd have to change the switches, AND the keycaps because they are pretty ugly if I'm being honest, so in the end the F75 will be cheaper and I like the sound and build quality of it more as well :)
For typing and editing, I prefer the Aula F75. The M75, with its speed silver switches, is probably better for gaming due to its slightly shorter pre-travel. However, it also has a slightly higher actuation force compared to the Aula F75 switches, so I'm not sure if that would balance out. Overall, I think the Aula F75 is a great all-rounder.
hey your previous videos helped me a lot to make a purchase decision . I wanted to buy the RK R75 but at that time it was unavailable . Then I chose the RK M75 for its design . It looks so fcking pretty to me and the stabilizer is awsome ( especially the spacebar) . well thanks for your videos . and please suggest switches that would give a DEEP thocky sound in this M75. Thse stock switches provide creamy sound.
Hello , can i replace stock keycaps on aula f75 with hyper x pbt double shot keycaps or hyper x pudding keycaps? Because i cannot see letter on keycap of aula f75 under dark room ! Please let me know. Thanks!!!
Unless you got the Aula f75 with side engraved keycaps, most likely the rgb is north facing (you can also check it by removing the keycap and inspecting the led). If that’s the case first make sure the legend is at the top of the keycap and second make sure the legend is shine through.
@@MechWhisper yes I know ...translucent keys will works on North facing and side printed keys for south facing led. I will buy aula f75 and get replace with translucent keycaps allows me to read letters in dark room.
The milky yellow has a heavier actuation and bottom out force, the milky reds feel lighter to type on. The milky yellows sound deeper as well. I think those are the biggest differences.
I really appreciate this comparison video. I was thinking of getting rk m75 but the typing sound of ice vein is closer to my liking than that of m75. I am new to understanding the keycap profiles, Aula F75 can only be switched out with cherry profile keycaps or there are also other profiles I can go with?
Other profiles are fine too, if you got the f75 without the side engraved keycaps then its pcb has north facing rgb which interferes with cherry profile keycaps for non-long-pole switches.
Well if you wanted a good gaming performance it mostly depends on the switches You should probably check out switch option of each keyboard. For gaming I assume you need a switch that has low actuation force and travel (how much force to activate the switch when pressed) in the video the stock RK M75 seems to be the best choice for gaming since it has K Silver V2 gaming switches but remember that board also affect the sound profile if you don't really care about the sound the RK M75 is a good choice for you *I have the AulaF75 with reaper switches and I have no problem on gaming (I do play fps too) but since there's 3 switch option i recommend going for crescent switches or ice vein switches if you want lower actuation force
