A double decker uses more fuel, has smaller stairs, less headspace and a narrow interior in general, higher point of gravity, can't go everywhere because of it's height and it's low floor, is more difficult to adjust for disabled, limited luggage capacity and makes regular maintenance complicated and expensive.
Nothing new New York City actually has more than their share of these tended buses and they do great it would have been nice however to see what the double-decker Transit bus look like in the inside oh well maybe next time drek

I can never understand the point of bendy buses ,you can easily get more people in a double decker bus and far more easy to handle

These kinds of busses can take turns at higher speeds than double Deckers and also no stairs more doors
