This is a fantastic video, have no idea why all the dislikes. So good to see an abandoned place that has not been trashed all to he'll by vandals - that's a very rare site here in the U.S. where I am from. Great accompanying music and loved everything about this video. I hope you keep making them!
It's only rare in the U.S. cuase people can be pricks and like to destroy things or tag things or like to vandalism. Why? Idk but I would be happier to see a house like this then a house that's torn to shreads or it has been taged or some shiz
At 2:16 mins. love that old vac. So glad I discovered your channel, your vblogs are awesome and the music choices are perfect. That china at 4:56 mins. worth a lot of money I bet. I love watching vblogs of abandoned homes and your's are by far the best I've seen thus far. Great finds.....
+datapakx25 those canister, drawer things under the kitchen cupboards are they common In Norway? I have never seen anything like that here, and I would love that for my own house
+datapakx25 those canister, drawer things under the kitchen cupboards are they common In Norway? I have never seen anything like that here, and I would love that for my own house
+WachdByBigBrother We should pass a law that says when vandals are caught they should report everything they own or they ever buy that has any value is reported. That way we can go to their homes and brake their shit.
To all your watchers of this video who complain about no dust etc. i will revisit this cabin since soon its 2 years i was here, and i can tell you all nobody have been into this place after me or before me. And This is No rental Cabin
What a cute off grid tiny house. Awesome find. My type of environment. Cozy. Fishing. Bird listening. Reading. Work online. My friends and I kick it here, we be free of city life. We despise city city greedy freedom is lost. My family migrated from Scott to Ireland (Ireland once Vickings stomping ground) to Norway. To America 1860 Anna Quam is my family/ ancestor Thank you for sharing
A very nice video. So clean and clutter free like personal items not tossed every where . Cute little place. Sad it is rotting down. Thank you for a nice video.
+datapakx25 I have to be honest, I can't go exploring myself but love looking at place's other's have been and respected. IT was a refreshing change to see the house locked in a time capsule without the scribbling on the walls and draws and paperwork thrown on the floor. Thanks for the find, look forward to watching another one of your video's :)
know this will sound odd but the minute I saw the door handle "Europe" popped into my mind - funny how I remember that from when I lived there - nice video - really liked it
It's so sad. I remember watching this video when it first came out. To say I was touched only penetrates the top layer. There is so much that I love about this video. I followed Abandoned Norway because of this video. I came looking for it again today and was so afraid it was no longer here because it has been so long. More people need to see this. You did an excellent job in capturing every nook and cranny. The music is perfect! I thank you for sharing it.
Not surprising at all that it's still in tact and in Norway. :) I was thrown off until I realized where you were.. of course it's respected and left alone.
I can't read the guest book but it looks like it might be a vacation rental. That's why it has furniture and everything someone might have needed but no personal items. Lovely cabin....must have had many happy memories of people staying there.
Its not a Rental vacation cabin. the guest book is for family and friends who have borrow this cabin and have written down happy notes from there holiday.
I'm back a year later from the US to revisit again. Something about this cabin always brings me back here. There is not another abandoned video that touches me the way this one does. I want to know the people that built it, that shared memories here. I want to know their story. Have you done a recent visit? I hope all of the doors and windows were closed to keep the elements out. Why does it haunt me so?
wow.. what an amazing place.. so sad.. and the music just suits the environment. so sad.. wish you could find more info of this place.. may be the owners died and no one knows about this place. thank you for the great video
a house that hasnt been touch since the 1990 thats in really good shape. i wish there were more places like this that hasnt been vandalized or exposed to the elements.
thanks for the walk around. this is not an completely abandon place. some one has been coming back once or twice a year. notice the table doily. not one scrap of dust and zero UV decay.
For heavens sake, if you dont like the bloody video dont watch it, theres a lot of idiots out there just waiting to jump in with so much criticism, the people are doing thier best to bring something we dont usually se no matter where in the world it is, ok the vikdeos arent of the best but FFs they arent FILM DIRECTORS if you dont like pass by...... I myself thot it was worth watching :)
looks like an old hunting cabin. and from the papers in the books it was probably late 80s early 90s when it was abandoned. tv and vacuum cleaners look like from the 50s and 60s. so my guess is it was someone's hunting cabin that probably passed away in the 90s from old age or something. and all the people saying it's not dusty are slow. all the windows and door is intact. and also it's in the woods where wind doesn't come thru heavily wooded areas compared to open spaces with yards etc. good find
Hello its Holly day Cabin. last used in 1990. Ty for watch my videos and for all you and others who like this. watch my Revisit of this Cabin 2 years later in full hd.
That Television was beautiful. Once I saw the coffee maker's electric cord, I realized it wasn't in America. I wish we had more civilized people here in America. Great video. Over here that TV would have been smashed to pieces and then spray painted.
+datapakx25 i just discovered your videos and have so many questions...how do you find these places? are you breaking any laws by going in them.? are you worried that by doing this you are opening these places up to thieves? i would love to do what you do...
Tina H Hello ty for watched my vids. how i find them i dont now i dump into them and i also searching sometimes. am trespassing for some peopel its to break laws. i always locking after me if i open some places to get pass.
I agree with the person below who stated the house may not have been lived in for 25 years but it is still being maintained. My aunt had a renter who lived in a 2-room house similar to that. It had a bedroom and a kitchen with an out house for a toilet. I remember that little house my whole childhood. Even after the renter died my aunt used to go down to the little house and clean it. Here's a funny story about the little house. My aunt used to rent it to an old retired sheriff named George for $15 per month. One day she let George know the rent was going up to $25 per month. George got upset and threatened to move. My cousin was the one who collected the rent each month for my aunt. As the story goes, my cousin Denny would collect the $15 rent from George and put $10 from his own pocket with it before giving it to my aunt. My aunt thought George had given in and George thought my aunt had given in. Thanks for sharing the video as I enjoyed it much more than the comments below. BTW there are lots of places in the US that haven't been visited by vandals.
Wow, that is a pretty cool place, I agree with the title definitely lost in time if it was 1985 you would think that place was just used, nice to see no vandalism in a abandoned property, you would think the furniture would be mouse damaged strange how it isn't.
redneckbryon Thanks. yes sometimes mouse not get in and eat and shitting around. floor was full of bugs and it was very dusty inside. looks it was cleaned down in 1990 and never used after that.
That's amazing! You can tell those who lived here loved this house; it was well taken care of. It looks like they were in a hurry to leave, because some of the drawers were pulled out, and some of the rugs were messed up. Thank you for posting this vid. :)
I always think of this video and come back to enjoy it. The music is perfectly haunting. And the feelings in the house forgotten by time just left alone. Thanks for this treasure.
These videos are so strange, and fascinating at the same time. They're also very sad because the story behind why they were abandon has to be very tragic. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful little place. There was a time in the United States where if something wasn't yours, you didn't mess with it. I miss those days. We used to be, for the most part, pretty decent people. I fear that those days are gone forever...
+missy thatsame I am assuming it is a Scandinavian country because of the writing on the book and in the book. For some reason I put it in my head that it said guest book on the front. (I did think he was slightly rough with some of the pages, and yes it is hard turning them with one hand).
+missy thatsame They do not speak German in Scandinavian countries. The Scandinavian countries are like Norway, Sweden and Finland. It would then be Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish. In German I remember just umlauts which are two dots over a letter and there were different marks over these letters (sorry I do not know what they are in a Norwegian language, I only know how to say many thousand thanks and shit in Norwegian, but do not fully know how to spell them).

Im only 4 minutes into the video and thinking wow some nice old furniture and thingsin there like someone just went to the store. it really dont look abandond to me NOT SAYING ITS NOT but wheres the dust and cob webs and things, it has been 25 years
+vincent kellerman not been in many abandoned properties I take it? Usually when properties are abandoned for any amount of time they begin to decay, once decay sets it properties deteriorate exponentially, you see lots of mould, peeling paint, cobwebs and dust and dirt from falling debris. I it's very common to see places that were spotless at the time they were vacated looking very dirty within a surprisingly period without being vandalised. This place has not been abandoned for 25 years. It might have been unoccupied but someone has been regularly airing it out and heating it. If they hadn't then it would be in much poorer condition than this.
+vincent kellerman Dust is not only made up of dead skin cells. It is also comprised of plant pollen, animal hair, soil and anything else that floats around in the atmosphere. Next time try not being a jerk.
+Jessica Rogers The cleaning lady of this place got a 25 year pay advance and she completed the contracted agreement just recently. I am joking but can you just imagine it LOL
Very cool. Someone built that cabin with love. The details are stunning. It is in very good shape to survive the winters for so long with no maintenance. Thank you for sharing it.
It truly breaks my heart not knowing why these people leave and their passions behind, and that some people go in these places and ransack and still their stuff. These are still someones belongings whether they are there or not. I have always wounder there must be letters and with names on them to try and help find these people or if not relatives or friends could have helped them. It is so sad to see :-(
Gjest Bok would be Norway...I find it interesting that the building has survived, were most buildings abandoned in the US seem to decompose in 5 years. The roof must be made of better material.
I enjoyed the video I was shocked how well the interior was preserved after seeing that porch floor and bead board on the ceiling of the porch. The old fashioned hanging spice jars take me back to my grandparents home. The music for the video reminded me of the beginning of the Halloween movie theme.
The place looked as if it was a thriving watering hole for the locals at one point. It must have been one of those places where everybody knew one another and came there to socialize and have a few drinks. It's such a shame that it closed down and all that's left are the memories on the wall and a collapsing roof.
One big question I have relates to the electric appliances (i.e. vacuum cleaner, television, coffee maker). I see that 50HZ power is needed with the coffee maker's plug; however, what is the power source? Is this place off the Electrical Grid and being feed by a private generator? Where is the electricity coming from?
My parents own a condo in the mountains here and all of the family members and occasionally friends of the family take turns using it and clean it before we leave, we also have a "guest"
What a lovely little cabin! It looks to me like this place might be visited more often than you originally thought because of the lack of dust small rodents and the general condition of the place. Thanks for taking us for the visit! Great footage too! I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Oki Amercians! This is in Norway and things is different . here not so many shit heads who wandalize destroy breaking and painting.

Many of us Americans would love to lynch the lot of them. It makes me so mad that others just don't get it that they are part of a whole.

can't help but think it's actually quite quaint; given a good renovation and some outside property maintenance it's probably adorable.

Hello Ty for that its amazing place glad you like this.
Unusually clean and tidy for an abandoned place.

Your PC so weak it couldn't even pick up how dusty the place was. Fail.
Lol read my comment and open flicker. you see dust.
what happened to the people who used to live there
absolutely beautiful. hope it stays preserved
Sad they stopped renting it out . The guest book had some nice comments. It reminds me of our summer houses in Denmark. Cozy simple.
I remember those old vacuum cleaners my aunt had one. And a bed in the kitchen Wow.
Looks like so clean. I can´t believe.
Great video👍🏻Many greetings from Germany
I agree with the person below who stated the house may not have been lived in for 25 years but it is still being maintained. My aunt had a renter who lived in a 2-room house similar to that. +Kelly G in my personal opinion the decor and clearly the grounds around the cabin have not being maintained
+redneckbryon Yes, you're right. It's just so clean, you know? It makes you think. Where is the dust?
The dust? open your eyes and look the floor its full of bugs and dust. clean lol

This house appears to have been one where there were many happy times.
I would have loved to live there. So quaint and simple.

Hello its 220v 50hz no private generator, The electrick coming from long cabel goes to electrick mast.
if anyone is wondering the title of the first book he opens is guest book
Very Swedish looking. Amazing. Looks like someone stepped out and just never came back. A rare find.
I love your videos but not the music. I like original audio it make you feel more like your there...
My parents own a condo in the mountains here and all of the family members and occasionally friends of the family take turns using it and clean it before we leave, we also have a "guest"
wrong here, this is abandoned for years, the porch gives it away. The roof is rotten, never been fixed, it takes decades to get in that condition.
Obviously it is abandoned. The porch is falling down. This would be a cute little place if someone took the time to fix it up and paint.
the porch is salvageable.
Love all the old appliances and the vase on the table!
What a lovely little cabin! It looks to me like this place might be visited more often than you originally thought because of the lack of dust small rodents and the general condition of the place. Thanks for taking us for the visit! Great footage too! I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Can't believe it's not all dusty and stuff . Clean compared to some houses where people actually live .
Love it!
