Sorry to report that the 9 degree has always been a more expensive Ducer than the standard 19 or 12 degree IceDucers. The Barium Titinate used in the super large single crystal used in the Pro View (9 degree) has more than doubled in price because they are so hard to make. Smaller more comonly used crystals bring the price down. As always with a Vexilar, you get what you pay for.
I have the tri beam, on a fl 18. The red casing at the bottom is cracked - is this make it broken? Or can the red casing come off? My unit is not properly marking fish or my lure, but it does read overall depth. Pretty frustrating! Do you think I need a new ducer? Could it be something else causing this?
It sounds like the Pro View would be the best option no matter who you are.. The tri beam would just render the gain useless and you're just moving the gain from the head to the chord and limiting it's receiving power to 3 settings. Why would anybody want that?
Hi Tom , Great vids .. I use your product for many years I started whit FL8 now I order a FLX 28 . I have a question : sonar scare fish ? I can hear the pinging of a transducer thru the air .
how do you reduce the size of the display on the screen.the fish on mine are really big,I have a fl 8 and they are normal size .My new one the fish are about 1/2 inches,to me. That's to big
Great information. First time I have seen it explained clearly in a way that's easy to understand.
Great video!, Might be picking one of the Pro Views up.
