You didn't mention that you have to be in normal mode with the gain turned all the way down to go to the X3 depth settings took me a little while to figure that out I was trying to access the 60 foot range with it set in zoom mode wouldn't do it, thought my unit was defective It has to be in Normal mode to access the 3X depth settings Then you can go to zoom But I love this flasher blows my old Ice 45 away guess I should read the Manual;
I've seen that some people have problems filming their vex with a gopro. Is there a fix for that or a setting I should be on? Thanks.
That could be a an issue relating to the frame rate on the GoPro. Try different frame rate settings to get one that doesn’t seem to be in sync with the spinner. That’s just best guess though. If that doesn’t work, google it
Is the Pro View Ice-Ducer the way to go with that unit

I have the FLX 20 and only have the 12 deg ducer but my brother has the FL 12 with the producer we were fishing in a shanty on Muskegon lake in 50 feet of water we were using the flx 20 changed to his pro view ducer and changed the gain up and down and it didn't seem to make any difference. Maybe we were doing it wrong but didn't see any difference.
You forgot to mention the demo mode, but great informational video besides that!
Dennis Falan. Yes it does I have it. Turn the gain all the way to max, hold it in as you turn it on.
OH I see you have to be in normal mode you're right it does have it. In AZ mode it just turns the screen red Alright thanks The demo is in Zoom mode or it does the demo as if it is in Zoom mode cool man I love this thing Had an Ice 45 and this blows it away.I should probably read the manual Lol.
Yep you're right I didn't read the manual It doesn't have a demo selection I tried it and you're right it works You also have to ne in the N or normal mode or it just turns the screen all red
