Someone from my era. I grew up with Cannon family couple of houses away & Balbis in same suburb. Guillermo Mayer (Bill) played them for a while as well, playing Tenor sax. He had a really good jam with Canned Heat when they came out. Balbi, Mayer & Adrians brother Rohan use to be in 'Rupert B', along with Mick Thornton, Mick Buckley. Lots of good music in those times. Went to Kevins after gig one night, really nice guy, showed me his multiple level chess machine. Good memories, thx.
@@nairekab4802 I used to watch Rupert B and Funkafied Filth, as they were called back then. The boys were all special talents. I played around the traps too but what they were doing was above my pay grade.
It's so unfair that 3-chord-wonders, dumbed-down Bad Company AC/DC made it so big...Kevin should've been filling stadiums in Europe (ditto The Angels).
Great band! 🫨
I met Kevin at the Broadbeach blues festival,(2019),what an awesome down to Earth guy.....👍
I met him at Whyalla around 1980 when my band supported him. He is a great guy!
Crowd going off! Kevin rocks!
I was at a guitar shop in Nambour today and noticed and introduced myself to to Kevin, nice bloke and I was thrilled to have spoke with him.
He lives up that way
Shellharbor Workers club saw him heaps. Pretty sure he played in The Party Boys for a bit too.
i keep looking for me in the crowd - as a fifteen year old guitar player...this was heaven
Saw Kevin many many times. Much enjoy.

Fucking awesome. Cheers Harry
I was there Harry 1981 FANTASTIC!
Best line up was Adrian Cannon on drums & Steve Balbi (Noiseworks) on bass in1985-87!

Adrian and Steve are great but my favourite rhythm section was John Annas on drums and Tim Partridge on bass.
