I finally broke down and joined the Seiko bandwagon I needed a watch with good lume I drive a asphalt truck at night. And oh my dang lumibright is amazing hit it with a flashlight for 5 seconds and it glows well over an hour I'm amazed at there lume. Oh and it's keeping really good time +5 sec a day so happy with seiko
Well, welcome aboard! It's a great bandwagon to be on, and the mantra is that you can never stop at one Seiko :)

Three great Seikos, cant go wrong with any. Turtle for 70s retro looks, SKX for versatility and Monster for uber coolness! lol

even cheap watches I buy secondhand for even better bang for buck. I have 5 sumo's all pre loved all bought for below 400 and 2 of them are orange sumo's. it was about 3 years ago now and prices have gone up. Cheers
Thanks for that - I think if you are able to find good condition watches secondhand at reasonable price, you can get some pretty sweet deals for sure. I like the look of the orange sumo! :)

I got a yellow skx thats made in Malaysia i bought about 6 years ago. Do they no manufacture them in Japan anymore? The one i got was gaining time. Had to send it to SEIKO in New York to correct it.
Yes they did make them in Japan, at least until very recently. There are rumours they are no longer making this watch, but I haven't been able to confirm for sure.

Nope... just called the SKX.

Hi there, I can't remember if I mentioned specifically in the video but the lume is typical very good *Seiko Lumibrite* in all three... the SKX is perhaps slightly less bright at the end of a night but it's overall very close. The Monster and Tuna are virtually the same. Cheers, Ivan.
