While the “sk5” is starting to grow on me, the Seiko Skx007 has my vote as does its little brother the Skx0013. The snk803 was the gateway drug that I am still enamoured with.
When I get around to purchasing my first Seiko I decided I'll start with the Seiko 5 SNK809 since it's so affordable. I'd also like to get the Seiko "Arnie" as I am a huge fan of his and he made that watch pretty badass. And now I want that "Darth Vader" lol.

Hi TGV So many legendary designs from Seiko and in multiple price layers too. I’m mainly a Swiss watch person, but surely understand you declaring yourself a Seiko guy. The unsnobbish and innovative attitude of the company surely make them a force to be reckoned with😊👍 I like many of the models, mainly of the more dressy kind. That you can get such pretty and high quality watches as the Presages at that prices is very tempting. So go on Seiko - make the Swiss work for their money😆 Nice vid, keep up the good work👍
I’ve loved Seiko since I was a boy. I have many on your list, including the magnificent 6105. It is so very special and my favourite. I now have multiple different Tunas as well. I think they are the most iconic of all Seiko divers. Thank you for the fantastic video 👌
I’ve had the seiko sea urchin for about 2 years now and it’s awesome I use to get compliments everyday on the watch when I first started wearing it and I still love it and wear it almost everyday
My Street series Solar Tuna arrived yesterday, and today, there it is, a legend. I’m sure the two are not connected. The solar Tuna really is very nice. Legible, comfortable, and not at all bulky. Everything lines up perfectly. Does feel different gravy, to a G Shock. Happy days.

Just wanted to drop you a note on how much you have meant to me and my new love for mechanical watches. I inherited a Rolex Sub Mariner and started looking for watch channels when I found the Urban Gentry. After watching everything you had my interest expanded into the horology of of watches and I developed a real appreciation for the art of watchmaking. I decided to take an online class on watchmaking so that I would be able to further my knowledge of mechanical watches as well as buy broken pieces and bring them back to life to further my watch collecting. Now it is turning into a sickness. As I get further into the whole watch hobby at a higher level, I still always come back to your channel to get your insights and option on watches of all price levels. Thank you for lighting the fire.
Great video TGV! Class act as always! I quite fancy trying a monster. I’m growing more fond of broad arrow hour hands for some reason and love the tool aesthetic of the monster!
I was doubly thrilled to see the Flighty and the photo of the F4U-1D Corsair together at 8:17. I have a copy of that photo signed by original VMF-214 Blacksheep pilots that I meet at one of their reunions. It is amazing how a quick image like this can bring back a flood of memories!
OMG, you put my favourite classical music in the background. I adore the 1812 Overture, a masterpiece only improved if you know the history behind it. Impeccable taste, TGV
Amazing video. I got excited just reading the title, seeing as how Seiko is my favorite brand. Please do more videos like this and more SEIKO. Thanks TGV. SEIKO IS KING !!!
I've been wearing a Tuna for the past two days. I may put on the Flighty tomorrow. Or maybe one of the other seven Seikos in my watch box. I am a Seikopath. YOU did this to me, Tristano. YOU did this.
Greetings from the Philippines. I was undecided about buying a Hamilton or Tissot when I chanced upon one of your videos extolling the virtues of Seiko's Prospex models. I purchased my first Seiko (a Seiko 5) watched 20 years ago and it still keeps reliable time after all these years. I just came back from an authorized Seiko Store and bought a "Samurai"! It's an early Christmas present for myself. I will be alternating the Samurai with my G-Shock and trusty Seiko 5 as my everyday watch.
Enjoying my Seiko SARB033 as my daily beater to office and a gorgeous Seiko SKX013 on a reverse bond nato as my weekend wearer. Thank you TGV for bring me into the beautiful world of SEIKO watches.
Great video. Currently wearing my coral blue Monster. Did I miss Seiko Alpinist in that list, though? Surely should be included in a top 20 if it wasn't.
The Seiko Arnie is the first watch I visually recognized and remembered as a kid. Didn't realize Captain Willard had one too! The Doxa Sub 300 "Black Lung" and the 300T "Dirk Pitt".
Nice lineup. Seiko and Orient are my 2 favorite brands excellent value and great quality. I have a 70s Seiko I inherited from my brother- n-law that has never been serviced and it still works its only 30 seconds a day off. That’s pretty impressive. It hasn’t been worn very much because it looks almost new. I have seen other watches quit working quicker than that.
Good evening TGV! That was a nice selection of Seikos! Flighty and Pogue are two of my favorites, would love to see Seiko doing a reissue of the Pouge. Have a great weekend!
Thank you my friend, I dare anyone to name a brand that can have 20 like it and still have another 20 more waiting in the wings! Gotta love Seiko, as for your choices, pure class ;-) Have a great weekend too, Best regards, TGV

Another great video. With all those model names and numbers, could’ve done with some onscreen captions detailing the different models, but that aside, great work. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for lighting up lockdown TGV. This was a fun canter through the Seiko nicknames (and I had wondered about some of them until you explained). I have a scarlet Komandirskie which I call the 'fat strawberry'... or just fatty for short.
For me, it STILL remains the Seiko 5 ‘Classic’. A loveable, unpretentious watch that punches well above it’s weight. It is the F91W of the automatic world!
I wear a Seiko Kinetic 200M dive watch. I have never met anyone else wearing one. Its really heavy and well made and yes, it stands out. It is also the most accurate watch I have ever owned being within 1 or 2 seconds of the atomic clock per month! I love it and wear it all the time.
Some videos I'd love to look forward to: 1) Top Grand Seiko Watches Of All Time, 2) Review of the Four Season Heritage watches (i.e. SBGA413), 3) Review of the Hi-Beat GS watches (i.e. SBGH269) :D
Also, I love your channel. I have been watching for a couple of years now, and have learned so much about this hobby. I was just looking at my collection in order of acquisition, and I realized how much your channel has changed my approach to collecting. While I do watch other channels on this hobby, yours was the first and best for me.
Great list. My personal faves are the SKX, The Turtle and the Arnie. I'm thinking I need a Samurai now. Never did like the monsters or the tunas though.
I was thinking the list was going to be progressively more famous, or more beloved, or more valuable to collectors. When I clicked, I figured the Ripley and the Pogue would be #1 and #2. I'm not sure what the order here means, if anything, but it is a nice list. Love all of these watches!
Can’t wait for my “Arnie” to arrive in the mail, it’s such an awesome watch! Just goes to show you don’t have to spend thousands to get a great piece of horological history.
I owned one of that legendary "Turtle" watch. My parents bought it for me from my cousin who is an army. ⭐⭐ It is my watch since my highschool days in early 80's and it still working up to these days. 👍👍 I love that watch. It is a part of my life for 40 plus years. ❤️❤️
Favourite Seiko is between the Willard and the Turtle, leaning towards ths Turtle. The srp777 was my second automatic piece and the first I really loved. Imho, it beats the pants off the skx. This week I picked up the 62mas inspired sbdc053 which is an absolute stunner. Cheere tgv for another great video.
Aweome video. I love my Sea Urchin and Arnie, hopefully they upgrade the Sea Urchin in the future to have hacking. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.

I wear a Seiko Kinetic 200M dive watch. I have never met anyone else wearing one. Its really heavy and well made and yes, it stands out.
It is also the most accurate watch I have ever owned being within 1 or 2 seconds of the atomic clock per month! I love it and wear
it all the time.
Some videos I'd love to look forward to:
1) Top Grand Seiko Watches Of All Time,
2) Review of the Four Season Heritage watches (i.e. SBGA413),
3) Review of the Hi-Beat GS watches (i.e. SBGH269)
:D
Great video
Very interesting and entertaining to watch
Thank you
And keep it up
The seiko tuna was the watch that made me start collecting seikos, ironically I've never owned one
Nobody has production value like "The Urban Gentry."
Another cracking video. Keep up the good work TGV!
I bought the Seiko Flight master SNA411 because of you! Loving it, definitely one of my favorite watches in my collection!!!
Great list! My favorite is the "Arnie" and I just recently got one. Absolutely chuffed to bits with it!
Perfect video to watch while pulling a Schwarzkopf with an SNE499 Tuna, and the Flighty! Good to see Hugo on the intros darling! Toodle Pip!
I owned one of that legendary "Turtle" watch. My parents bought it for me from my cousin who is an army. ⭐⭐
It is my watch since my highschool days in early 80's and it still working up to these days. 👍👍
I love that watch. It is a part of my life for 40 plus years. ❤️❤️
My Seiko 'Save the Ocean' Samurai, aka 'white shark' has been rock steady on my wrist at +7 for 11 months now. It's my fav
I've had my seiko turtle for 2 years now, wear it every day! :)
What a fantastic video. Wow!! Mine is the humble 5kx but it feels less humble now. What a history!
