THANK YOU! The only decent video which actually shows what to do... all the others show Golf or Jetta and tell you its the same for Beetle... which it is NOT. Thanks again!
DUDE thank you SO much. You helped me dig my AUX port out from under the dash and put it back in. Literally like the only video that shows how to properly do it. THANKS!
Quick tip: Keeping the glove box open all the way retracts a slider behind the dash, making it easier to pull the dash off and put back in. Thanks much, worked like a charm and was easier than I expected. Like 13CrazyDaisies this allowed me to retrieve the Aux port for the stereo which had been pushed in. You might consider adding something like this to the title "(retrieve aux port)".
Buena iniciativa. Lástima la ausencia de delicadeza en el trabajo que precisa éste coche, en el desmontaje, dado que los plásticos son muy frágiles y se parten con mucha facilidad... Gracias.
Flintstone thank you showed me the right way to take out glovebox the others don't show it the way you took it out thanks please clean the less lol had spots
no need to take any of the black area off waist of time only gray area 7 screws in front and one behind door on side why all that not necessary total 8 screws and it's out reverse to reinstall.
Right now he is using a T20 screwdriver. I just bought a set at O'Reilly's Auto Parts. From all of the VW Beetle videos I've watched here for my 2000 VW New Beetle, the majority of the screws are these T type torx drivers. The set I bought also included a set of assorted mm bits, slotted and Phillip's drivers, ratchet screwdriver, flexible tube and two stubby screwdrivers by Ultra Steel for the low price of $19.97. I know you can get replacement screws from Amazon. I didn't check for them at the auto parts store, but they probably have them too.
Your video is not at all helpful yes the blower motor is the same but the car is not I have a 2012 beetle no comparison whatsoever against a golf or Jetta

Much appreciated. My 2006 Beetle is getting a blower motor and resistor pack today, and this video gets the job started.
