It's make me so mad to know the drama isn't doing well in korea. It's a underrated gem. Completely new take on fantasy genre filled with complex characters and unique plot.
Because Knetz's obsession of cheesy romcom and they are not open-minded enough with this type of genre. Also they are under preconcieved notion that it's GOT-like, and AC is copying it and bla and bla. Duh.
I don't understand why people in Korea didn't like this series. It's an absolute masterpiece. The characters are so well written and the story is enthralling. I don't regret watching it for even a second. I can't wait for the next season. I just hope that the love from international fans will keep the writers motivated to continue to deliver awesomeness. Absolutely brilliant!

i personally think that this has been one of the best korean dramas i have ever seen, you rarely see fantasy themed dramas from koreans and seeing one that totally shifted the film industry with its great cgi, effects and storyline is really impressive. i love how song joong ki portrayed 2 different characters well and how the other actors really challenged themselves to immerse into it. from the set unto the smallest detail of props and costumes, it was beautiful. i really hope that if another season is being cooked up, it’ll be as explosive as before. i would like to see more of the supporting characters like yangcha (daekan army) and the ago tribe as they progress.
Song Joongki's acting is incredible.. It isn't that easy to portray 2 characters with 2 different personalities, I'm in love with his acting! All of the actors and actresses are SO good! And the plot, too.

Woow it never gets bore whether I see it 10 times or even 50 times . I loved their hard work and their chemistry the story is also really beautiful and the thing which I liked the most is the music . My favorite new series. The first few episodes everyone(the village men) cry all the time, that stops and great dancing, fights , costumes and many beautiful people. Easy to follow too.
This historical-fantasy kdrama is totally different from what korean used to, awesomely different...history focusing in goryeo time with their hanboks on and its fantasy-concept with goblins, reapers, odysseys, mermaids and vampires .. i mean its like its too very common and too predictable.. but this show gives us another view plus the fact that the action scenes were like real with its effect and the such... I love every part of this show 😱😍 if the season1 gives us the thrill and very surprising events, what more would it be for the next season?! Myghad feelin the goosebumps 😱💕 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I watched this movie over two years ago and I'm still in disbelief of how amazing it is. Been re-watching it with different people, quite a thrill. Lots of super amazing scenes but my favorite scene by far was when Tanya found that darn bell.... Like WHAAAAT. Still gives me goosebumps.

For real!!! This drama is way too underrated. Only the drama where I wasn't able to fig out the plot. But there is no news about the next season. Ugh it feels horrible. Loved their acting so much. I hope they make season 2.

Writers of Six flying dragons don't write love stories that Koreans love but epic and political stories with un expected political twists. I have watched all their dramas. From Queen Seon deok, Deep rooted tree, Six flying dragons and now this one. They are hyped political, reality dramas. NO wonder it's underrated in Korea.
This one is definitely one of the kdramas I've seen, and I've seen hundreds. It's unique, like Game of Thrones, without the obscenities, and i just love it. Just want more, how it came to end😍🥰❤️🙏👏

I love jiwon very much and i love song song couple very much too. After watching DOTS I'm lying if i say i don't wish that joongki and jiwon will be love team someday and it finally did!💙
i haven't watch it and don't know if it's good or not, but the production quality seems really good, and it's different and new to K-drama. Maybe it's not the kind of genre that korean would like, but it seems will attract more international audience, especially those who like fantasy
I am not exactly a Kdrama fan, I watched this more for the fantasy trope. However I can state clearly that this was excellent, a 9/10 show. When Tanya recovered the bell it was perfectly built up plot wise, made me feel some kind of way. Koreans not liking this just means there sleeping deeply, time for them to wake up.
There were so many epic scenes in here that had me press repeat. My emotions were so moved. It was unpredictable and the concept is new and refreshing. Please have a season 2! How do I petition for this? Where can I donate? Lol.
Kanmoeru... Said to be the fastest horse in Arthdal and only Aramun Haesulla can ride it. And Eunsom was the one who ride it. So does that mean he is Aramun Haesulla? But if he is .. why did the horse said " He is the weak one" when Eunsom got caught saving his friend. This is such an amazing and interesting drama. Waiting for season 2
As an international fan, I'm proud to say I'm immersed in this drama even though it's a fantasy history about Korea. I'm deeply saddened why it didn't get the praise it deserved.

I am not exactly a Kdrama fan, I watched this more for the fantasy trope. However I can state clearly that this was excellent, a 9/10 show. When Tanya recovered the bell it was perfectly built up plot wise, made me feel some kind of way. Koreans not liking this just means there sleeping deeply, time for them to wake up.
Glad I encountered this drama it was truly beautiful, I am still waiting for season 2.

Kanmoeru... Said to be the fastest horse in Arthdal and only Aramun Haesulla can ride it. And Eunsom was the one who ride it. So does that mean he is Aramun Haesulla? But if he is .. why did the horse said " He is the weak one" when Eunsom got caught saving his friend. This is such an amazing and interesting drama. Waiting for season 2
