I don't know why people say that this series is boring when it's a world class masterpiece. They say its very confusing but the development of the story is very clear and stable. This is worth watching to be honest. Never seen such a creative take on fantasy genre

I dont think its most underrated kdrama... it did still attract lots of viewers but due to bad critics [specially GOT-copy-cat-comments (which is totally absurd 😤)] it didnt make it to the expected viewers rating. But, im sure those who prejudged this drama will eventually regret it 😈😈😈
Arthdal chronicles is too good to be true! Just a big masterpiece altogether! If there's seriously people out there who don't enjoy this series, they've got no taste! That's for sure.

the story at the beginning might be confusing because most people are not used to “arthdal concepts” but once you get the hang of things, this drama is super addictive!!!!!

I still don't understand why being confusing is such a big deal. That's a common thing of these types of dramas. Fantasy and scifi are supposed to introduce the audience to a strange and/or unexpected world and the audience discovers it through the main characters. The show even does a great job reminding the characters' names throughout the episodes. Not even Game of Thrones did that.

Honestly, this drama is unique and original. That's why I love this. This isn't your typical Korean drama, it's very different from the rest. No car accidents, no amnesia, no time travel and all that shit. I have grown up watching dramas, and I can say that this is the most unique one I've watched. Although sometimes I get frustrated because of the cruelty and the slow character development, I just can't stop loving this movie. I want a season 2, seriously. I can't watch any of the dramas right now, they are too cliché.
The King Eternal Monarch although have periods of time travel is really great as well.

Me too. Waiting 7 days for the episodes is torture. I don't know how many mornings I've woken up from a dream about it! I proves it's really on my mind a lot! I'm never one that wishes a story to go on forever except for this one.
Almost no plotholes, everything they mention in the story just connects so perfectly 💖 A masterpiece indeed.
These actors are brilliant.Seeing them off set makes me appreciate how well they play their characters especially Taelha and Tagon but all are brilliant.
Honestly one of the most fascinating, well-written and well acted productions I’ve ever enjoyed on Netflix. Anyone who claims they’re bored watching this is just not paying attention. The writing and character development is just beyond anything I’ve ever seen. This will be in my top three favorites for life.
I'm a fan of both Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won. It feels so good to see them together in another drama.
Kim Ji Won is incredible!! Watching her here all shy and mellow you wouldn’t even guess she’d be able to pull off Yoo Rachel, Yoon Myung Joo, Choi Ae Ra, And Tanya so flawlessly and convincingly you can never imagine anyone else playing these characters but her. What a fine actress!

I came to know Joongki after I accidentally watched Arthdal Chronicles. Then I fell inlove.. went on to search for him, and heyy he's the missing piece, ohh boy he's goals, went mental watching all his dramas and films. 💞 💞 Some of my house 💐 are named after his characters from his dramas and films. Now I'm drooling over Vincenzo Cassano..💞 💞 💋

I watched arthdal chronicles after I saw song joong-Ki in space sweepers and I just loved the drama so much and the cast were amazing with their roles,I hope there will be a season 2!!

Arthdal Chronicles was such an eye-opening, I actually only came to watch this show because Jisoo was a cameo on here, but then the whole plot grabbed my attention and its so so good. I watched this in only three days. This show doesnt need romance and all of that stuff, this storyline is a masterpiece. And also they really chose the right actors/actresses to play this drama.
Me too, I just finished it within 3 days last week, and then re-watch the first 2 episodes again right after to clarify the relationship and history of all the main characters. Its not an easy understanding drama but definitely worth to watch.

After watching so many dramas, this drama is greater than Anything That has been seen before. Putting the 2 main actors together was the most powerful and brilliant think in this century. People are purely not informed but this masterpiece would turn anyone. I cannot express how much I feel about it. The characters are strong yet vulnerable at the same time. Thank you Netflix.

There is a lot of stories not rom-com with great rating.
Those only started coming later on after the international viewers rose. I'm not kidding when I say that there's a lot of prejudices concerning beauty, gender/sexuality and race in Korea. Although I do agree, the newer generations are opening up to it. But before, it wasn't like that. I didn't mean to insult anyone nor was I "ignoring" any comments but it's a fact, they've only started opening up to newer concepts now. Which also includes skinship and PDA

Then there’s the whole movie industry wich is so freaking diverse. One of the most popular Korean movie is « The handmaid », a story about lesbians.
But of course, non Korean people who probably never even step a foot in Korea MUST tell us what we like....
The storyline is too good to not make another season. I just love the character development. There are so many interesting and mysterious characters that I want to know more about (yes Yangcha)
This cast of absolutely stunning actors and actresses brings to America a profound and beautiful fantasy with incredibly complicated roles that require flexibility and change. The story line is cleverly crafted to accentuate each of the dramatists assets. Tanya, as Tagon so aptly points out in the interview, must undergo extreme changes requiring sensitive adaptations. However Eunseom and Saya, played by the same incredible actor, must cloak his emotions as Saya and be the free spirited nature lover as Eun seom.The strength that is the Tae Alpha demonstrates appears to come from her very core of her soul and is brilliantly portrayed throughout each setting. She brought me to tears when she confronted her own wrong doing and aided her father to die rather than give the secret of the bronze away. True power is a dam full of water...able to spill in great destructions, or weep to bring healing to the land.

Well said! I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this drama. I felt, however, too much was left "unanswered" in the final episode. To get closure, the fans may have to write their own ending if there is not another season.

it's a masterpiece. I was really impressed. never seen nothing before on Netflix. I sincerely felt part of the story. I loved the seriousness and the engagement of this production. I am from Italy.
Not only do I think this series my favorite kdrama, but I think it may be my favorite series ever. I'm not sure what exactly makes me love it so much, there probably isn't just one thing. Every episode I am on the edge of my seat, sometimes holding my breath, sometimes laughing, and many times yelling at the characters on the screen. Season 2 please. Waiting. I am actually thankful that I discovered this when the season 1 ended and all the episodes are already aired. I didn't sleep and watch all of it in one sitting. I can't get enough of it, I am always anticipating on what will happen on the next episode. I can't waittt a a a ending was cliffhanger. I want Eunseom and Tanya to reuniteeee.
I didnt think i will get hooked in korean drama. But Arthdal chronicles made me want for more and search for song joong ki. That water scene with the momo tribe diving in the water to help eunsum was breathtaking makes me go wow that was amazing
This drama is one of the best, not only in Korea, but in all if the content Netflix has. It has such an interesting and beautiful plot line and the cast is simply exceptional! I hope they have another season to finish the story!!

Love this series. The actors are great, and there are a lot of similarities to modern day: Power hungry people; gentle people exploited by the greedy; intertribal fighting and many more example including prejudicial exclusion. The setting is different, but human foibles never change.

It’s incredible how this cast have such chemistry!!
The initial chapters were indeed a little slow, but the serie keep getting better, to the point that the 3rd part is amazing and made me pray for more seasons. This it is pure art. The cast is simple perfect, and so are the music, scenaries, make up and costums.
