Really like the set you're rockibg tough. I was trying to make a good velk set. i can just swap attack + 4 with crit eye and replace the 2 lvl 1 crit eye with health boost.
Mount attacks with 3 stages can also be looped if you space them. Ex: you can do the first 2 strikes of the sns attack, wait a sec, and repeat until they fall over. Works well to get some extra damage in, especially if you're in a team hunt and you're mount stalling to let them rack up damage.

Wow 200+ hours into Iceborne and just now I learned from your video that while mounting, you can shoot the staggering slinger ammo types to stagger the monster and then quickly knock them down....

The punish on his big slam with the backslam was so cool! Very nice run. I have a question regarding your set though, why did you choose shatterhorn over frosthorn? I would have thought that, because you have crit element anyways, itd be better to use an element rather than a status
AT Velkhana will probably include quick sheath level 3 and nice jewel solts as the valuable upgrades. The other intrinsic skills are nice but can't help with dps so higher levels of those are kinda meh
And this is why I think HBG is such a bad weapon. Compare the 2:39 HBG run that had little skill involved, to this. 6:25 but with such beauty and mastery.
HBG is not bad, its internal balance and play philosophy is pretty good actually (high risk, high reward). Externally tho: It needs a damage nerf, only enough to make tank builds do less dps than any other weapon built for damage Some other weapons just need buffs too (Lance, HH, partially IG, etc)
@@phenix2403 How is it high risk, high reward though? You can put some shield mods and have a shield as strong as lance at the cost of some damage. Thing is even with that damage gone you are still doing more than 90% of weapons WHILE having extremely good defence. Remember the "lazy" Zinogre HBG builds before all these monsters came out?

Always enjoyable runs. I usually watch all of your videos even though I did not pick up HH yet. One question, if I may: why are you using attack 7 and agitator 4 in the mantle? You could easily use agitator 7 in the actual build, gain 15% affinity over attack 7 and swap the 2 expert for 2 attack 1. You could also use 2 attack+ deco in the mantle and play gilder uptime with agitator 7 and attack 6 instead of attack 7 and agitator 4. Surely, agitator is not always active..but in this run rajang is enraged 90% of the time
Thanks ! It's very easy to queue songs with this melody list. I use songs as ammo for my recitals so I need a melody that lets me stock them easily. In that regard, atk melody 1 made more sense to use here.
You are referring to the "quick recital". You can perform one by pressing the recital button right after doing a hilt stab (that poke I did before playing songs). Only the ones who flinch instantly r worth it tho (crystal burst, scatter nuts, and nearly all monster ammo but not dragon)
