Just want to say thank you to the Military Police. Back on 15 Sep 1995 I was leaving Ft. Irwin California. I was serving with cobra Team Operations Group. I was an Infantry Platoon Trainer. Half way thru rotation I was taken out to go for the birth of my daughter in Midland, TX. My late wife and I had tried for 18 1/2 years to have children along with two failed direct adoptions. At about 0115 hrs on the 15th of Sep we were headed out of Fr Irwin. I had been up for about 36 hours during the rotation before signing out on leave. On the way out of Fr Irwin we were stopped on out way out of Ft Irwin for speeding. After the stop the MP asked what was our hurry. I explained about our notice of our daughters birth in Midland TX, and a quick explination of what I have explained above. The Mp's congratulated us and let me know to make sure and be careful on our trip and make sure my wife drove since she had had more sleep than I. I will never forget them and have always kept them in my prayers. My Wife has since passed after 35 years. But my daughter is in her last semester of college and reminder me of her every day.
When I was active duty in Germany back in the 90s, I always made sure to invite an mp or two whenever I threw a party in the barracks. seemed like a decent insurance policy against getting into trouble. never had any problems with MPs when I did that either.
I was with the 11th ACR as an MP 1991-94. We had a lot of Cav buddies. I’m sure it helped them out. Not just with us. But also with the Polizei. Kept them from a lot of trouble. Good memories. #Workhorse #Allons
I rolled through a stop sign on my way to our APFT, thank God when he pulled me over I was literally parking right next to my 1SG. My 1SG thought the MP was coming for him at first LOL.

"Don't confuse your rank with my authority".........I used that line quite a few times as a young 95-Bravo MP at Ft.Bragg many moons ago. I also remember being told to remove my head cover while indoors at certain units, even though I was on duty and carrying a sidearm. Needless to say, we quickly set those NCO's straight about a lower enlisted on-duty MP's uniform.

There's a third type- the guardian angel warrant, the one you never see but who repeatedly pulls everyone's ass out the fire by suddenly appearing with the right paperwork at the exact right moment- only to vanish as quickly as he arrived.

Few question 1. Would you more likely give out a warning if the person u stopped was nice and cooperative? 2. Do you guys typically get a lot of hate for being MP? 3. Is being a MP make you look good when you apply for civilian police academy?
1. Would you more likely give out a warning if the person u stopped was nice and cooperative? I had usually made up my mind if the person was getting a ticket before I got out of the car. If the violation was something that was a immediate danger to others (running a light/sign with others around, more the 15 mph over the speed limit, parked in a handicapped spot) all of those were guaranteed tickets. If I pulled you over at 2 am for a illegal lane change or rolling through a stop sign, I was looking to see if you were drunk; if you weren't there was a good chance I was going to let you go, unless you were a jerk in which case your vehicle might get searched and all of the stuff left on the side of the road for you to put back, at 2am. 2. Do you guys typically get a lot of hate for being MP? Not usually and if they did I didn't care chances are they met me because they messed up. 3. Is being a MP make you look good when you apply for civilian police academy? Depends on the department. In NY they don't care you have to take a test to become a police officer.
+Tien Le hell no. Regular cops hate MP because they feel like they know everything especially NCOs and different lingo. My buddy told me all this he's a cop in Miami
Christian that is a pretty big blanket you are throwing over all MP's, police officers and police departments. I know many MP's that have transitioned over to civilian PD's. 2 of them went on to be chief of police at their departments and one looks like he is about to be elected Sheriff of his county. Does being a MP guarantee you a job in a civilian PD? No. Does it give you some valuable experience? Maybe, depends on where you get stationed. You could end up as a tower rat guarding "special weapons" or you could end up on a large base like Ft Hood where you are about the same as a mid size town police officer, or you could end up as a division MP and see very little road duty and end up being a mobile grunt and never see law enforcement duties.

I'm definitely on the side of MP too tired. Back in high school I used to need an absolute minimum of 16 hours of sleep a day. (I even learned to sleep while running)
If that's your mind set pick a different career. There is a difference between being a dick and being fair.... Set reasonable thresholds for each violation... Be consistent and recognize the fact you have discretion.... People don't get mad for being caught when being stupid and doing your job... People get mad if your inconsistent and unreasonable...
I also had a time at Hood where I saw an incident show up on my CAD. Just put myself at the Sportmans center like a shitbag. Dispatch was like "Okay"!?
Your videos are are hilarious I listen to them while I am at work I really liked your whats it like to be married in the military, so true what you said. Keep those videos and yes I bought from you 😎
Yeah…. We “had” one who used the “Don’t confuse your rank with my authority.” I believe he used it on a field grade officer. And I think number 10 applied to me. Whenever I worked at Ft Irwin, people used to ask me how many people died tonight.
You forgot “MP SF” the guy that swears he is the baddest MF ever strap on a pair of combat boots. Whooped 10 seals , 8 Delta, 5 SF , 3 Rangers, and the entire 11Bravo population one night in a bar fight. And never spilled his beer.
Respect to mps and the 239 mps that were killed in the middle east..you all rocked it in battle and deserve more respect but hey the best heroes are the unsung heroes! God bless
Does anyone remember the O.J.T. MP? The guy who used to be a cook or a mechanic or even field artillery? He decides he wants to switch his MOS and comes to your unit as an E4 or E5. He rides around on patrol and goes to the field even though he has no idea what he's supposed to do. A few correspondence courses and voila, he's a 95-Bravo MP. I'm definitely showing my age now since MP's are now 31-Alphas and go to Ft. Leonard Wood instead of Ft. McClellan like us guys from the 70's, 80's, and 90's did.
MP here from back in the day (91-98, Myer, Vicenza, Carson (both 59th and 984th)), #9 is sooooooooo true! Some of these are new but times change and some MP designations are created, but at least half of these are true....especially #9.
Ill tell you about Combat Engineers! WE MPs were called to guard a murder crime scene at Ft Lewis. The victim was from the Engineers...so was the suspect. When CID was questioning the suspect, the SA asked, "Why did you do it?" Us other MPs were watching this interview on the camera at the Desk SGTs desk. We expected him to plead the 5th, like normal murder suspects. This guy....well he was "special". He said, "Well, I shot him the first time and when he dropped his body was still doing the funky chicken. So, I shot him the second time to put him out of his misery." The CID agent walked out and came to us on the desk and said, "Did yall hear that? Or did I just think he just said that?" We later found out that the guy he murdered was his "friend". The suspect had loaned the victim $20 a few days before the murder. The victim promised to pay it back on his mid-term payday, and didnt. So rocket decided to withdraw his personal weapon from their armory guy, set up this mock "target practice" sight in the known "dumping grounds" where people from all over dumped old washing machines and trash, and took the victim with him on the lie they were both going to shoot his weapon. The suspect allowed the victim to shoot the beer cans first. Then, as the victim was setting the cans back on the washing machine, the suspect shot his friend.........over freaking $20.....The kid got the death penalty in the end.....over a $20 bill....two Combat Engineers dead over something so stupid. I hope that crap is added in the ten types!
Its all fun and games until you call 911 on base and demand we show up to "deal" with some crazy person yall brought back to housing and married, or to the barracks to hook up with......Its not MPs that make the base that way. YOU make the base the way YOU want when you get there. If you have a ate up mindset going in, you will be just as ate up if not more going out. I dont understand why people enlist who dont WANT to be in the Armed Forces to begin with!
The AF L.E.s are the same. I dated an SP and had several SP friends (I was a hospital girl), and met EVERY DAMNED ONE of these. The WORST was the one that hit my car's bumper going the wrong way down a one way lane in my dorm parking lot...to get to a close space for the chow hall next door. Mine was the 2nd car he did that $h!+ to (and his dirt bag LE buddies made it their only mission in life to eff with me EVERY time I cranked my car for him getting into trouble). He finally went too far, when he did it to another patrol vehicle. 🙄 The one writing me a ticket for my tires chirping briefly from a start at the front gate was super fun too. Oddly, the SP I dated let me use his car often, and NO TROUBLES. Drive MY car, and I became a magnet for douchebag L.E.s. Of course, they couldn't seem to prevent the protesting hippies from getting on base and spray painting one of the B-52 bombers.🤔🧐 This was the late 80s.
You forgot Combat MP's. And I like that, yeah MP's don't steal things we acquire them 😂😂😂😂. Got a great weapons cleaning kit and Saw Tool that I'll most likely never use LMAO.
2:04 "Get back in your patrol vehicle and write my ass a ticket. I need proof this shit happened." Oh shit I need to send this to some choice people. Fucking gold.
At first I thought he must be an MP until he didn’t bring up 1408s when he said “give me evidence that you pulled me over”. Then he said that they’re just fucking around back there and didn’t know we’re waiting 20 minutes for dispatch to run the license plate 😂
Just want to say thank you to the Military Police.

Can't spell WIMP without MP. My favorite cadence.
As an MP, we have a motto: MP's are never in a rush.
How is it being an MP? I am doing it for Reserves and I leave for basic in December
@@daltongramboiii9958 damn. You’re probably about to graduate now. Lol. Fort Leonardwood
Cool but my brother yes I can say that, you forgot the Combat MP like me.
Make us laugh some more these are OUTSTANDING 🤙
DAV 58TH MP-25TH ID
Agreed, I’ve never worked the road. I was always in stbs. I would never want to be a garrison MP
my plan is to be the coolest mp ever
Codiriko White we all say that
Undead Wolf Airsoft is that a bad thing?
If that's your mind set pick a different career. There is a difference between being a dick and being fair....
Set reasonable thresholds for each violation...
Be consistent and recognize the fact you have discretion....
People don't get mad for being caught when being stupid and doing your job... People get mad if your inconsistent and unreasonable...
I also had a time at Hood where I saw an incident show up on my CAD. Just put myself at the Sportmans center like a shitbag. Dispatch was like "Okay"!?
I never realized how much you cuss until I watched one of your videos in a church 😂
this is some good shit, now you need to do my boys 13B.
4:00 also known as "tactically acquiring"
When I worked at the Spa in San Diego. I saw MP patrol car with a funny license plate frame that said. Too close for missiles, switching to guns. Lol
When the engineers start talking shit, yeah we're good at that.
2:51 my virgin eyes!!!! Chill! I won't even run a stop sign!!! I swear! 😂😂😂
awesome video. Shore patrol in the Navy was a little more gracious lol.
My grandpa was an MP in the Marines. I bet he was MP Picasso b/c dad says grandpa was a naturally talented artist.
yah, engineers and MPs seem to have special animosity.
as an prior AF Security Forces member most of these are the same for us
Is it safe to say you were an MP? Lol these videos fuckin rock
Your videos are are hilarious
I listen to them while I am at work
I really liked your whats it like to be married in the military, so true what you said. Keep those videos and yes I bought from you 😎
Yeah…. We “had” one who used the “Don’t confuse your rank with my authority.” I believe he used it on a field grade officer. And I think number 10 applied to me. Whenever I worked at Ft Irwin, people used to ask me how many people died tonight.
and there were the two MP's at Ft. Wayne /Detroit in 1969 who beat the shit out of me
This guy is fucking awesome
10 types of 91Bravos next?
yes please. or 91 series in general.
1)Mr.ThatsOperatorLevelMaintenance
2)Mr.FinallyAcceptsItsNotOperatorLevelThenTakes6MonthsToChangeTheBrakes
You forgot “MP SF” the guy that swears he is the baddest MF ever strap on a pair of combat boots. Whooped 10 seals , 8 Delta, 5 SF , 3 Rangers, and the entire 11Bravo population one night in a bar fight. And never spilled his beer.
your finnaly being active on youtube lol.... Like uploading every week
I was Infantry and omfg you get me laughing so hard I damn near piss myself. Only Vets know the life of being Active Duty.
This takes me back when I was with the MPs
Can you make more listening to rock with a veteran
Everyone called me Hardass. If I was in a bad mood I'd write up my own mother. Ended up working for the USPS. Fun video.
Loving this MP videos xD
McClellan like us guys from the 70's, 80's, and 90's did.
good stuff Drew
MP here from back in the day (91-98, Myer, Vicenza, Carson (both 59th and 984th)), #9 is sooooooooo true! Some of these are new but times change and some MP designations are created, but at least half of these are true....especially #9.
do ten types of Combat Engineers
Crazy story! Still do not get why people join the military to be jack boot cops. MP's made FLW even more of a shithole lol.
@@Fuhrdaddy you got that right, MP vehicles crawling all over the goddamn base when FLW should have been kept as a Straight Engineer Base
I'm the "Cool MP that dont wanna be an MP so MPs hate me and everybody else still hates me cuz im an MP"
That was me too🤣
The AF L.E.s are the same.
I saw an MP driving through the red light.
So very true! That’s what makes it funny
You forgot Combat MP's. And I like that, yeah MP's don't steal things we acquire them 😂😂😂😂. Got a great weapons cleaning kit and Saw Tool that I'll most likely never use LMAO.
2:04
"Get back in your patrol vehicle and write my ass a ticket. I need proof this shit happened."
Oh shit I need to send this to some choice people. Fucking gold.
securer and relocate love it.
In MP acquire the lint roller killed me
Love that hat don't ye lad 😂
At first I thought he must be an MP until he didn’t bring up 1408s when he said “give me evidence that you pulled me over”. Then he said that they’re just fucking around back there and didn’t know we’re waiting 20 minutes for dispatch to run the license plate 😂
Use a DD1805 and see you in magistrate court.
11) MP GOMER PYLE:" "Shazaam! That there is a sure pretty car ya drivin! Betcha it cost a MINT!"
