    Great to see ya back in the saddle man. I had 2 and 1/2 years off riding after a horrific life changing accident but once a biker it's in ya blood also I've been riding since i was 8.
    Broke my heart not riding. Ride safe mate great to see you fixed

    Glad to hear your back up and running Pud... As we know Puds take 220-240 to rise... Hopefully your grips give you that "rise" 😉😊

    Know the feel mate haha.. Your boy fractured his finger at the end of Nov and wont be back on till Mid Jan at the earliest, its clawing away at me!!!
    Been looking at helmet cameras but got no clue what to get, (to act like a dashcam of sorts) looking at the akaso brave 6 plus but there are far too many to choose from!!
    Good to have you back, hope all is well with the knee.

      It's awful isn't it mate, nothing worse than your own body stopping you from riding when all you want to do is get back on the bike. Ooooo all depends on how much you want to spend to be honest mate, there are plenty of great cameras out there. As long as its clear enough to pick up number plates you're golden. Knee is getting there!

    longest break was 20 years between rides for me, that was after I found I was pregnant and got back on a bike once my child started university.
    You did well to get back on a bike after six weeks, it took me six months before I could bend my leg fully after the ALC and MCL was repaired. But this was when I was 45 so things take longer to fix as you get older (something to look forward too ;-) )

      I think that is a pretty valid reason to have stopped riding though to be honest, my wife was super eager to go on the back of mine but pregnancy certainly stopped her haha. Great that you are back on the bike though!

    So I was on the way to work this morning and a I had an idea. Its mine so don't steal it, but HEATED UNDERPANTS! Just imagine a heated seat you can take anywhere. Its cold outside but your fruits are cradled and gently heated all the way to work. There's a possible issue with ripeness and people might think your wearing a diaper but I think its a winner.
    Also I have issues with my knee in the cold, I think you just have to expect it once you do some serious damage to it. Maybe I should add heated knee tube to my list of million pound inventions.
    EDIT FFS I just googled it and they all ready exist as long johns. I might actually get some lol.

    • @pudmoto
      @pudmoto  7 місяців тому

      I do love the idea of that to be honest, especially keeping the fruits cradled and comfortable 😂 Now a heated knee tube sounds like a great idea to avoid pain from the cold!!! Get yourself some mate!!!

    When I went down at 40mph and wasnt wearing proper clothing on my legs I lost a lot of skin on my right leg and had to spend just over a month off the bike.
    never rode without proper gear since. it was depressing not getting to ride.

    • @pudmoto
      @pudmoto  7 місяців тому +1

      Ouch!!! Not great at all mate but yeah I suppose the injury and the time off the bike got you wearing full gear

      @@pudmoto it's funny tbh I only had one pair of riding jeans and they were wrecked from riding through a storm the day before, and the only time I didn't wear them in my whole first year of riding I have a accident.
      Got a lovely big scar on the leg to show off to the ladies though.
      But yes before that I would sometimes not ride with gloves or a jacket when going to shops, now I wear full gear even if I'm just testing the bike down the road after some work.
