Definitely good idea to modular magnet your boards, 2 to 4 magnets eually spaced and same for the wall mounts of them. Can then have 3 mounted while you work on 1.
It's also something you could do with largely flat boards with separate buildings, as well. (Though you'll need a place to store said buildings, of course).
