NOTIGANG! Killer update to the Corsair RGB fan lineup. iCue software for full RGB control and speed moderation as well. Tough to beat this level of quality. Stay awesome!
Great video! Maybe I missed it, but you didn't show/mention that these were specifically designed to also look good from the "back" side. These would be excellent in a case like the O11 Dynamic where you might want to mount them as side intake. Most other RGB fans wouldn't look as good in that configuration. I feel like this is the main reason to go for these fans instead the LL series.
This is exactly what I have been waiting for! I was seriously considering the LL120s but the problem with ALL RGB fans up until now is, to get proper airflow in a case, sometimes you need to mount them with the "ugly", non-RGB with the UL sticker, exhaust side showing. This means those nice RGB fans you just bought that only have the RGB on one side look like crap when mounted backwards for airflow reasons. These look great from both sides. Honestly, the only thing they are still missing is I wish they could be daisy chained for the cabling rather than have to have each fan send cables back to power and the hubs. I guess you can't have it all but these will definitely be my next purchase.

Bad enough that their icue software doesn’t even work for most people and limit the visuals even more.
One thing I like about Corsair fans is the RGB flexibility I get with my lighting. After almost 4 years of constant use from my LL series fans, I've had some LEDs fail in a couple of them. I'm wondering if Corsair has done some research into this and I also wonder if these newer QL series fans have longer lasting LEDs than the LL series fans. I guess only time will tell.
I have a load of Corsair stuff in my rig and its top quality stuff but how anyone can charge them prices for fans is mind blowing. I need a 140mm fan to finish my build but i will literally feel like Corsair is bending me over if i pay $50 for one 140mm fan.
Problem is with two fat rings of LGB, the fan blades are tiny and barely push air. So they do not back things up with performance, as you claim. They are in last place on air flow numbers in multiple online reviews I have found. So yes, they do look stunning, but you literally get no performance out of them as fans, which makes them a tough sell at $45!
