I have a Kenmore 18 cf. that was made in 1984 and it still works perfectly fine. Only had to repair the light switch, and later a light bulb. They were built to last back then. It's a dumb refrigerator, so it doesn't know how to stop working.
I can't believe for the money I just spent it does not have a ongoing temperature reading. Only the two pre-set numbers for freezer and fridge. I can't believe after spending $2,000 I have to go spend $7 on Amazon to get a refrigerator temperature gauge.
Hello. My son switched the ice plus on which we had to wait for 24 hours before switching off itself n later discover d freezer is not cooling again. Pls what should I do. MODEL Lg LFXS26973D/ 10 and serial 105KRELOP628. Thanks
Check to make sure the control lock is not active or the child lock is not active also unplugging it and plugging it back in or leaving it unplugged for 1 to 3 minutes and then plugging it back in could also help

Was told that I was going to get service this morning I called back and was informed that the service center is closed today. So they completely lied to me.
There's no way to turn off the fresh air fan. So you have a fridge that is constantly running to "remove odors". Very annoying when you are sitting on a different level 20ft away and you hear a motor running nonstop.
I'm sorry, but we paid a ton of money for this fridge/freezer and it has given us NOTHING but problems. Ice maker is inconsistent, freezer won't get cold enough. We actually just sold our LG washer and dryer because these digital components simply complicate something that doesn't need to be complicated. I've tried resetting...everything and opened a ticket with LG directly. No response yet.

Horrible refrigerator.....not freezing or cooling and it's less than a year and a half old. Spent over three thousand dollars on the one that has the knock knock front. Waiting on the repair guy now.
Purchased a refrigerator 3 years ago and like a lot of people who were part of the class action lawsuit our refrigerator stopped working. 3 years? That is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot and will not ever recommend LG products. Oh and if they even cover the food loss which they probably wont they will offer you a fraction of what you lost and call it a customer "courtesy". What a joke

Agreed. We dropped 5k for the fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave. They all suck

The refrigerator we replaced was over 15 years old and this one couldn't last more than a year and a half.
I bought mine used for $800 and I've had it for 6 years no problem. Guess you bought a bad one

Beware the noise. That could be ice build up and the fan hitting it, causing burn out, beware......
