I've owned a 70 Dart Swinger 340, 71 Duster 340 raced in Super Stock back in the 70s, and two 71DEMON 340's. 1 automatic and 1 four-speed, which I still have with 14, 400 original miles. I love them all.
My first car. Bought when I was 17 was a 1972 Orange with black stripes and hood with orange strobe stripes going up the middle. Black bucket seats and a 3 speed floor shifted manual transmission. 318 with an 8 3/4 3:23 geared rear end. I bought the 340 heads and an edelbrock 4 bbl intake. 750 Carter carb. Cam dynamics cam. Double roller timing chain. Cyclone headers and California turbo mufflers. Factory chrome tips. Looked like a 340 Duster without the 340 on the stripes😂. But that 318 outran big blocks and quite a few stock 340s. Always ran Sunoco gas and it was always tuned for street racing. So my vote goes to ….. DUSTER.
IM VERY MUCH A DUSTER AND DEMON FAN ...BUT MY FIRST LOVE IS THE DUSTER ...HAVE HAD THREE AND STILL HAVE ONE THAT I EXPECT I WILL BE BURIED IN MOPAR OR NO CAR !
I Love the blue on the Demon, but I would put that color on one of the Dusters and be a very happy camper. I can't explain why, but I've always had a thing for Plymouths in general.
Duster for me. The first car I ever bought is a 73 Duster 340 automatic, still own it 40 years later. I also own a 71 Duster 340 auto and a 71 Duster 340 4-speed.
Duster's are one of the best Muscle Cars. Value's finally going up to match this. The 74 Duster 360 was actually the best Duster ever built! It has advanced safety features for the time, better front suspension, factory electronic ignition, Factory front sway bar, and more Torque than the 340. Power was rated using the new "Net" way, so people get confused.
I had a 72 Ruster 340. Was copper brown. Stats said 240hp, my ass said 300 hp. My wallet got it over 400 hp. Was the King of the Streets in Cincinnati in 1986.
@@TheMoparChannel to me ther worth more and not as many built and I’m a 70 dart guy so the front end is same as dart so that why I also like taillights better most I’ve seen are standard trans also I’ve had at least three dusters over my life all good cars but not as cool to me
I bought a 1972 Hemi Orange Demon. Bought it new and still drive it.
That’s awesome thanks for sharing Tim
nice I would still be driving my 74 Duster except it got ran over by a semi

Two of the meanest looking Demons I've seen have been featured by you. This channel rocks!!!
I am an original owner of a 1970 Duster 340, 4 speed with a 3.55 rear. It has 33,000 miles on the odometer.

My first car was a 70 Duster 340, so I will always be partial to the Duster as well. Thanks for sharing your memories Randy!

MOPAR OR NO CAR !
We think a lot the same my brother! Thanks
Today it'll be the Plymouth ( back in black ) duster..how sweet is that
Sweet indeed! Perfectly optioned flawless Duster aye Walter?!
I Love the blue on the Demon, but I would put that color on one of the Dusters and be a very happy camper. I can't explain why, but I've always had a thing for Plymouths in general.
Thanks Gary !
Give me that triple black Duster
Agreed my brother, that’s one badass Duster!
Duster for me.

70 340 Duster was my first car. Bought in 86. So wish I still had mine. Thanks for sharing David!!
hi good ep the cars look great.
Appreciate you watching Joe! Thanks
ive owned several A bodies all flavors and years! whether its a 68' 440 dart, or a 71' 340 stick demon, mopar or no car❣️
Nice! Thanks Stephen!

Appreciate this! Thanks for sharing your knowledge Thomas!

Was the King of the Streets in Cincinnati in 1986.
Nice!! Thanks Ketch!
My 72 said Demon on 1 door, Duster on the other and Dart on the Deck Canyon shreader.
Now that’s PURE MOPAR! Thanks for sharing Scott!
Had a 70 340 Swinger 4 speed, but always wanted a 71 Demon 340 4 speed, but I have to admit a 71' Duster 340 4 speed is really it's equal.
You can't go wrong with either one!
!971 Duster 340 with the V24 340 wedge option!
Thanks for watching Jessica!
The green Duster is my choice
Thanks for chiming in Alan, much appreciated
The Plymouth Duster had a better looking Grill, and attractive stripes. That's why the Duster outsold the Demon and Dart.
As the channel creator I’m supposed to be impartial, so I’ll just say I dont disagree. Thanks Ed!
hands down the Duster learned on a 70 owned a 74 Duster, Dodges are all right I just prefer Plymouths
Learned and owned a 70 as well, was my first car bought in 86. 340!!
@@TheMoparChannel 340 nice does it have the sports dash those were fun too
Yes it did, I’m pretty sure all the true 340 Dusters had the rally dash
most of the high-performance A bodies had that similar special dash Dodge or Plymouth
Love them both but I wouldn’t trade my factory H code 72 Duster 340 four speed Basin street blue white stripe with black bucket seat car for a Demon.
Thanks for sharing Eddie!
Duster!
Noted, thanks for watching Jose!
Demon
Thanks Jeff!

Demon. Better looking grill and front wheel openings. Just a better looking car.
Can’t argue with that thanks Rus!
