  • Hafthor Bjornsson is returning to strongman for the 2024 Arnold Strongman Classic. Here is a little reminder of how incredibly strong he was. You could argue that he was the strongest human being to ever walk this planet.

Zydrunas is the Greatest strongman of all time there is no debate about that. But it can be argued that Thor was stronger at his peak.

In every single of these static lifts, Eddie Hall is stronger (including the deadlifts)
Even a non strongman like Jesus Olivares would crush him. Pointless video
I get riding Thor but at leadt show his actual dynamic moves

Thor is a better squater and deadmofter than eddie, and infinetely better in dynamic events

Nah for me there is no such thing as worlds strongest man, I for one do not believe Thor's 501kg was legit though he can lift 474 for sure which is a remarkable feat as it is, he won the worlds strongest man tournament what twice but Pudzianowski won what 5? He can do remarkable things with weights but even at 6ft 9 and near 28 stones of human being he would still get absolutely obliterated in a fight versus 6ft 4 250 pound Jon Jones so is Jones the stronger man? Jones cannot lift 474kg but he could kill Thor with his fighting ability ..... so who is the STRONGEST

Well, to obliterate Hafthor without weapons, would prove to be very difficult, even for a professional fighter. Hafthor does have some amateur level knowledge of boxing, and he understands the basics of Brazilian jiujitsu. he is also very heavy and insanely strong. If he gets his hands on even an expert fighter, His strength and weight alone could mean that he won. The amount of pressure he could apply to tendons and ligaments, not to mention bones of his opponent is downright scary. But I do understand and agree with you. There is no such thing as the worlds all-round strongest man. There is many types of strength, and no one can be at the top of every one of them. About Thors 501lift, I really do think he did lift 501kg. Magnus Ver Magnusson verified the equipment. And he is very professional. But It would still not count as a competition record. But give the man his dues. Hafthor did lift 501kg even if it isn't the official record. Personally, I think he could have lifted 510 that day. It looked that easy. But that is just guesswork.

It not up to you to decided that he didnt lift 501 lmao. It was a aanctionned event by World Ultimate Strongman, sponsored by ROGUE and ESPN, verified by Guiness, and judged live by Magnus with plates bar and collars weighted live on stream.

Brian Shaw is the strongest human ever. Even ask the man who has witnessed the most strongmen compete over decades. He even said Shaw is the strongest.
    But nice click bait.

Hafthor Outdeadlifted, Outsquatted, Outbenched, Outlogpressed and Outaxlepressed Brian. 😉

I do think that Brian is a better strongman overall (though still behind Big Z, who is just on another level), but it is worth noting that Brian and Thor did the same number of international competitions in their careers (65 before Thor returned). Thor won 30, Brian won 27.

It was actually 8 and a half months ago. He is currently recovering and just deadlifted 420 (926) a few days ago.
