Martin Muhr in the 2000s video incoming
Wow what a deep dive in the 90's the best era of strongman. It's my personal favorite because as a strongman the only way you could practice with such implements is to compete in shows ( for the most part ). Where todays strong man has access to most of the equipment used in the competition or something very comparable. Also 90's strongmen had regular jobs, where today you can use social media to practice everyday and get monetized at the same time. A lot has changed since the 90's / 2000's. A lot of this footage in your video I've never seen before. Definitely should do the 2000's next. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. This took a looong time to make but everyone liked it so sooner or later 2000s is coming.
this video was very intresting as a newer fan that has only seen some highlights of older comps and therefore doesn't know all the best athletes. I would love to see a video for all decades since the first WSM!
I definitely want to do all the years. A lot of the older guys were really good but are pretty much forgotten and I want to help give them the flowers they deserve.
Glad you liked it. This took a looong long time to make but I will probably start working on the 2000s.
Obviously you should cover the 2000s NEXT :)
In other words...half a decade of Pudzanowski? 🙃 5× wsm, 6× Europe's Strongest Man
That one might be a bit controversial lol
@@thestrongmanhistorian us fans knew that if the "IFSA split" wouldn't have happened. We would more than likely seen Big Z capture multiple titles. Until Brian Shaw showed up, it was mostly BigZ and Mariuz vs. Everyone's else 🤣💯
@@thestrongmanhistorian and definietely hard to cover, because obviously the split made it much harder to judge....Pudz was winning against almost everybody he was facing, as well as Big Z...But the didn't compete against each other between 2005-2008, except Arnolds. I'm super curious how you'll argument you picks, whatever your picks will be 😄
@@everythingstrength1485 it's about the best strongman not the one who won wsm 😉
Fantastic coverage, love to see it!
Great video, and really my first decade as a huge fan of the sport
Awesome video as always mate
Great video ❤💪
Van der par was dutch not polish.
7:14 My mic did cut out a bit at the end but I said Holland not Poland
@@thestrongmanhistorian oh ok, sure sounded like poland.
