I used your plans to start building my own halfpipe. So far I only have one side completed (lack of funds thanks to gas prices and such). But I'm going to finish it up this summer. 8' W - 4' H - 22' L. Middle piece wont be as large as yours though. I may post a video when it's completed.
masonite is a type of wood but its made really flexible and smooth hense the bend in the pipe lol if you go to a hardwere store or like a carpenter shop you can ask for it and get it...
Awesome Build Brotha! I like how you angled each transition Side at a 45 for the video, Smooth looking trans doesn't appear to be too steep.. Great idea for the flat! Is that a 6 foot flat? I would have done a 8 foot my self.. This brings back memories when we built lots of half pipes all through out the neighborhood, during 1989-94 time frame... Most of the time we would use pallets for the flat, and part of the top decking!! you just Got your self a New Subscriber
I have a couple of questions would appreciate your response and give you change my subscription what utilis woods? as did the preliminary drawings to cut wood? is as drawings of how steep the ramp will be going does the copin nailed to a stick wood or where? and the last =) half of the box with cuarters are only supported next to each other or merge with something? thanks, I hope your answers, Greetings!
When i'm all grown up and have a son, I'm going to build him one of these!

Great video bro! To the point, sped up even. Excellente'
was very good, build one in my yard looks great thank you helped a lot
@noobanator564 no not really kickers are more for jumping a distance, they are usually a less angled ramp than a quarterpipe like this one
@MusicUniverse561 when i built mine i used water..it just helps the plywood to bend into the shape of the frame easier..

would be fun to have that in my backyard, just too bad i don't have a backyard

3:02 i just thought... wtf 2??? haha nice vid
Vwry very cool video and you did your job good
so one layer of plywood and one layer of hardboard is sufficient then?
they want extra support just in case they fall or something the ramp wont collapse on the or something like that.
how long did it actually take you to build this? and what was that other layer you put ontop of the wood?
@toysolja2219 it hot water you pour it on the wood so that the wood wont snap when you bend it.
1:31 that dog took a shit.
hahaha
did u soak the plywood? is that what im seeing with the red bucket there? does that make it easier to flex
how long did this ramp last?, as it was constructed in the strangest way
its to make it even smoother
@henry22man mattharkless3 is wrong he used much cheaper material which is called massonite, its the best thing to skate one and its cost effective.
cool nice work.
can you take them apart so you can use as a quarter?
how did you know the way to cut the wood in the desired angle? like on the wood where you ride on...
hes so fast he must be a saiyan
lol, good job - dont let your friend ride it as he didnt help :)
cool ramp XD
damn u did all that in five mins

how long did it take u to make that in real life?
what did u use to wet the wood to bend it.
hey man, i just want to know if it lasted (:
I think he is putting water on the plywood so it will be more flexible.

what wood did you use vor covering and is it waterproof?
@jessiekingofcool could you tell me the size of a standard sheet and the approximate price?
more like an hour but awesome
what kind of screws or nails do you use throughout the ramp ?
how long did this take in reall time?
hey man can u give me all the measurements and tools needed to make that plzz
what did you yous to make the wood wet 1:22 just water ?
whats thats last layer you put down on the ramps called and where can u buy it ?
