I can't believe it only took 5 minutes. That is incredible.
You guys move really fast
They were speeding up the vid
.......
Devin Hamilton wait whaaaaaaat?
Devin Hamilton NOOO WAAAY?
OMG wow I'm going tell my mom how fast they were moving!
If you look closely you can see it's sped up......
No shit
Whoa dude... You're right!
dustinbaseballfan its called irony, look it up, its used like, everywhere xD
George Glover Ya don't ssaaayyyyy.
George Glover no shit sherlock
Wow! It actually worked i built this in 5 min! Thanks man :)
justin kilburn hahahahahaha
I believe you NOT!😂
@@TheMathew22222 😂
damn was that a 3 ply skin? when i was growing up you skinned it with one layer of shitty plywood if you were lucky. This is a beautiful ramp. nice work
That’s cause we were ripping off wood from a local construction site late at night before security showed up. You needed to get in and get the fuck out. Three ply is a luxury item.
What material is the last layer made of?
@@efecordero Hardboard Tempered Panel (3/16" x 4ft. x 8ft.) It's tempered and smooth on one side. Works great, but isn't completely weatherproof, so if your weather is like mine (UK), you have to keep it covered.
If only I had the space to build something like this... Good work guys, would love to see a vid of you shredding this
This is an awesome build! I'll bet that thing is buttery smooth.
Satisfying to watch. Wish I could skate it.
You know what i want for my birthday...
To build that fast
You guys are sooo amazing
Nice! Perfect ramp. You should make a video for vert extensions maybe even a slight roll in. Keep it up impressive work.
Looks amazing! Is there anyway a miniramp-hungry-skater could get a specs list, as well as materials used, on this ramp? Because I would love to build it myself! Cheers, stay awesome and keep up the fantastic work!
really nice miniramp. i love miniramp-skating.
now where the hell is a video of this ramp being skated on???
Cool to see the whole process like that!
Geez that really helped! Glad i watched this now because this was so detailed il just go throw one of these ramps up now.
5 minutes later: im done thanks guys!
nice vid but who made this awsome music to the vid just love the beats man i need to know
I wish it could actually take 5 mins - Nice workk
Yo THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! I used to skate back in the day... looks SHREDDY!!!
Great build guys!
What is the template of the drop in because I don't want it to deep but not to small but your seems good if you could reply that would be great
Hey man, I know this is four years late but I took some photos from this video and drew out my best guess on a 4x8 sheet of plywood. No measurements, but the shape should be accurate and the geometry should be sound. imgur.com/a/0BXS85c
Why you did a double layer of wood? What kind of wood? What is the third final dark layer?
On the edge what is the long bar you placed? thanks guys!
I think it of that black material sometimes use in skate parks
Stefano Fontana they put 2 layers of played wood to give it more support and to alternate the holes
the thing on top I think is masonite but it could be skatelite or ramp armor
As someone who has made a mini ramp, the extra layers are for protection. It always needs a lot of wood to compensate for how bendy the wood is
This is the most awesome video I've seen in a minute.
Thank you very insightful.
What's the last material that they put on top?
it's called ramp armor. very smooth and durable. in this video they use the cheaper indoor version. there's a more expensive outdoor version which protects the ramp from enviromental damage.
Masonite
Where is it available or what brand should I look for. It’s not Masonite cause it bends over the side and they used no nails
Skatelite
Perfect! could you please send me the plans and size of your mini ramp? Looks like a perfect transition!
Cheers!
Can you send me the mesurements?
Did you get those measurements?
Looking to build one for my kids.
Is the top layer Skate Lite? How did you guys install the final layer of ply? I don't see screws or nail hose. Is it glued on?
I built the 1st ramp in Maui lahaina for community service and the 2nd while on Red line at MCCC. I had to skate in work boots but it was alot of fun...
Take me back to day with me & my bro’s built ramps & Such! 🛹
Blueprints?
Fastest 5 mins I've ever seen in my life
Nice job!! What material is the black ply u used?
Not going to lie that is a sick halfpipe wanting to build one myself subbed 👍 10/10
Hello Saga Outerwear !
I wonder what type of wood used to cover the last layer of the end. I mean they put the dark wood at the end?
They used a thin sheet of fiberboard. It's like MDF, but it's very pliable and dense, so it can be bent to the contour of the ramp and it's very smooth to ride on.
research "ramp armor" bro :)

You should upload a vid of skating this
this upsets me
whyd it have to be teared down?
ootko suomalainen
ooooh no, i miss somebody skating in this place... perfect ramp
Looks sick
How much did this cost to make? Thanks.
Vince Elliott like 4k
That wasn't 5 minutes it was 4 minutes and 29 seconds LIER!
MultiJake 1. Liar* 2. This was sped up, took them at least an hour.
Jts1210 lol I was joking
Jts1210 more like at least lwast a day lol
And 3. Are you a child, you play minecraft
liar*
I'm building a similiar size. Can you share the ramp plans? I want to know how you joined the two 8" wide halves together at the seam? I didn't see it happen in the vid
rad as hell
why wont anyone who posts these videos just tell people how much it costs?
whats the big secret.
people want to build their own, not just watch you build yours..
whats the deal?
And another comment was never seen again...
Kirby Dinglebear count each board they bring in, go to a hardware store and get an estimate.
If you cant build it yourself you take that material list to a contractor to get the cost or a few handy buddys if the cost needs to be lower.
Cheers happy skating.
Kirby Dinglebear I got pretty much the same size mini ramp built by a contactor and it took 4 guys and one in a half days to do it for 5 thousand.I'm just assuming but I picture a thousand dollars of wood and 1 thousand dollars for each guy since it was their own company.
On average it costs around $580 to build a 3 foot tall 8 foot wide mini ramp
Kirby Dinglebear so truuuuuuuu
they didn't even skate it
So? They are just showing how they do it dumb fuck
yup more hate
love you cad0shar (Evade Astro)
devin hamilton :)
devin hamilton s
Awesome!
what do you use to seal it? im looking to build one in the near future
how long did this actually take and how much did it cost
Took us 24 hours from the initial planning to completion. I think total cost was around $1500. But that is a ballpark figure, I can't remember exactly how much everything cost.
Saga Outerwear 24 hours :o holy moly that is fast
probably the most misconceiving video title ever
lol ikr
They are showing you how to in 5 minutes it didnt take 5 minutes to make obvs
henri kulmala I believe you are misconceiving the definition of the word "misconceiving." The word you are looking for is misleading or deceptive. Yeah ok I am being petty, but so were you with your original comment!
henri kulmala oi
Brazza Bizarre Inconceivable!
I'm looking to build a ramp in my back yard.. do you guys happen to have a list of supplies? overall costs?
I’m building a basement mini right now, 16 ft long, 8 ft wide, 2 and a half ft tall, 2 and a half ft for the standing areas on the top. I am very excited because I’m looking forward to maybe having my bois come and scooter, skate and listen to some music and ride. I will definitely save this video for some ideas.
how much did all that cost
probablly around 300-350
Josh Bisschops are you sure? That seems not that much for all that nice wood
AndreCorner That black skatelite prob cost that much alone. It can be done for 300-500 bucks but it won't be like this one. diyskate.com will help you out.
If you are just considering the cost of materials, it is probably between $300-$600.
Nick Joslin really?? Only that?? I can't believe it, if that's the price I should start building one right now considering I have all the space I want!
fake its sped up. i can tell by the pixels.
No shit Sherlock
Ross Courtney he was joking you genius
Bro they're not saying you can MAKE it in 5 minutes, but they showmyou what to do in a 5 minute video
I didn't know it was sped up
Danny H no shit
So oddly satisfying to watch.
That's such a nice ramp
totally 5 minutes
I know right! It was 4:29 Mins!
CbmGraphics How were they goin as fast as sonic!!1!
Joshua Romo u mean sanic
You guys are n00bs. I can build a ramp in "10 seconds flat."
okay
okay
Okay
okay
Okay
Wow!So crazy
We have a mini ramp at home, and were wondering what the black sheets you put on the top of the ramp were?
it is not 5 minutes
Really? No shit?
I am serious it is not 5 minute look at the video minutes
I know dumbass, I'm being sarcastic.
5 houres
12445 yam it isnt a mini ramp either
Crack: Not always bad
hey what wood are you using for the flat parts
Wow, great how to!
Can I hire your workers in my backyard they work fast lol
Probably took them 30mins to an hour to build
Gamer Haz nah my neighbours build a mini ramp and it took them like 15 hours
My ass more like 12 hours
It says in the description 24 hours straight
What material do you use for that last layer??
what did you use for the final layer on top where can you buy it at and can it be built to be outside?
Pretty sure it's masonite, or skatelite. but it doesn't hold up outdoors.
Fake, obv sped up...
Killeraura Who?
+Killeraura I don't get it how can anyone be so dumb to not understand a simple joke. Don't take it seriously but like come on dude. ;D
+SlenderBird hahaha thanks man, hes thinking im dumb while making a fool of himself
+Pluck Horris Oh sorry. Its hard to see sarcasm in text.
Killeraura No problem hahaha
Very Cool.
Like Skate Itaquera on the feicebuke.
Satisfying to watch
Question: Is 2 5/16" (outside diameter) too large for coping? I'm building a very similar (4' high) ramp to what was built in this video. Second question: Is 10' too long for a flat bottom? I'm thinking 10' (rather than 8') because I'm 46 years old and predict I'll need that extra time to regroup after coming down a transition. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
what were the black mats that u put on at the end
Beautiful
wow! they work realy realy fast
Gorgeous.
nice work
That was quick (thumbs up)
hola que material es la ultima capa de color oscuro que le ponen?
Saga Outerwear What ply thicknesses did you use for the first two layers? and what exactly was the final layer , and thickness? and lastly the last layer, is it put on the 45 degree compared to the other panels? Wicked video and sweet ramp
I believe the first layer was 5/8" and then 1/4". The final layer was about an 1/8" thick but not exactly sure. We put the final sheeting on at an angle because it helps the seams from wearing after a lot of use.
What did you put on at the end? Was it skatelite???
I challenge them to do this again, in my garage! 😝
had you done that in 5 or did you use effcts with. the ramp
Why was the skatelite put in on an angle like that? Is it just to make it smoother? Looks like a pain in the ass to do all the cuts :P
so good bro :D
How did you fixed the Rail ? Glue or with something other ?
What is the black material that you cover the ramp in the end? Does it lowers the sound?
Either Masonite or skatelite and yes it's a lot quieter than skating on regular plywood
What material did they put on last? And why was the pattern different?
Amazing
what are the black pannels made out of???
Awesome job guy ! I'm trying to build a miniramp myself, could you give me some tips ? I'm thinking to use 2 layers of MDF, 3mm each. And a harboard cover, 2,5mm. Do you think it will be enough ? It will stay indoors, low use... Thank you !
You ever build that mini ramp?
@@stephen1193 yes !!!
Haha that's awesome. I've been researching so I can do the same for myself and my kid.
Hi! Where can I get the plan for this ramp? And how much did it cost?
so sick!! i want to ride this beast !
super les gars!
do you have any tips or tricks for moving that fast
This has inspired me to build a mini ramp. Also, this must be a world record or something
Nice! I also have a video on one. What is the radius of this one?
What is this material that you used at the final to give the ramp this dark look? Please Im building a mini and I can't find the name of it on internet!!
Masonite
What was that top layer you used? Also could you upload the plans for this? Thank you!
what is the stuff they put on last?
What were the 3 plys you installed?
What material is the black layer on top?
What was the final layer going on that you used ?
What surface did you use
