If I were the DM at this point I would give Nova a custom feat
She should really get steel toed boots for extra damage. Alternatively, spend downtime on the Stormchaser practicing to try and get some kinda bonus

Stainless Salih then again, steel toed boots would be quite heavy

I absolutely love this campaign and when the new episode comes out on UA-cam I can not wait to watch it as it is one of the best parts of my week as I just can’t get enough. I also am just on the edge of my seat until they get back to Aerois!!!
Hey Robby, you know they stream live on Twitch on Sundays as well and, if you can't catch them live, you can catch the v.o.d. any time there after. You don't have to wait for the UA-cam upload (though I do believe UA-cam's player is superior to Twitch's).

The gang was so efficient this episode! Sometimes I find combat boring but in High Rollers everyone had such cool moments and its fun to watch.

Wolf Star Mark mentioned that they wanted a few more of the characters to get some upcoming “upgrades” before Nina made the new portraits.
Then astral space happened and I think that has delayed a few things. :P

suntiger745 i think Mark planned for the players to enter astral space also, because of the increased strength of alot of the monsters/encounters
@@WikkFuny it was only because of sentry rolling a 1 with the hadar portal collapsing that they got sent to astral space

Concentration checks are HALF the dmg or 10, if 10 is more. Love the show, but that one bugged me.

I think Mark already said that each planet counts as a different “plane”, and the Astral Sea is also a separate plane from them.

55:20 what Aila did was just the shove attack which only replaces one attack, so she would still have another attack
"Using the Attack action, you can make a special melee attack to shove a creature, either to knock it prone or push it [five feet] away from you. If you have multiple attacks with the Attack action, this replaces one of them." (Pg. 195 of the PHB)
Since the mage was only moved 5ft that's a shove, and the flavouring of having it be Aila picks them up and tosses them shouldn't change that. But let's say it was a grapple as you said. A grapple still only replaces one of your attacks.
"... you can use the Attack action to make a special melee attack, a grapple. If you're able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this replaces one of them." (Pg. 195 PHB)
If you decided that due to the flavouring of the action that you mainly provided that it was both a grapple and a shove then I think that's a bit rude. These rules are easy to learn so either you, Katey or the rule reminding Tom should get these locked down

Yea, a lot of attacks has been lost by the Aila and Sentry, because they have been doing this wrong the whole campaign.
I understand Mark has a lot on his plate, but the players do not and they should have learned their characters abilities by now.
Is anyone else just a bit suspicious of their new Fire Elf friend? I know he was suffering madness but what if it was all an act to gain the party's trust? Mark planted the idea of shapechanging succubi who change to mirror the races of their targets and he just seems like such a perfect Male Aila... Hope I'm just being paranoid. Aila deserves answers! I'm caught up now and excited to watch live!

There are a number of Cleric spells that can be used to speak with one's deity. So it really is a matter of whether Mark is okay with that kind of use for it.

i would have done the charm person thing differently. I would have said nova knew they weren't humanoid. That was extremely harsh on marks part, not a great DM call in my opinion
They're level 11 in THIS campaign. Charm Person works on humanoids, if a player doesn't read their spell and still commits at this level to cast that spell on something that isn't a humanoid...

Quill should know that it's a remove curse spell that would be required...
He would have that spell as a Cleric (it's third level) but there are any number of things that are called curses that a DM might not let you simply cure like that.
It's usually more fun to quest for it then hand wave it away anyhow. But you are certainly not wrong. Played right it could be a funny ending to the whole affair and an alternative payment for the trip too.
Anyone else think that time on aerois is going slower because it is closer to hadar? Bc like black holes make time go wobbly?
