This is a joke, but I don't think we're that far away from seeing this really happen. Practical action you can take today: never buy or use a digital assistant like Amazon Echo, never install one of them in your home or workplace, they're constantly listening and collecting *EVERYTHING* about you and even your family members.

The truth is you can’t access the internet privately unless you’re a professional hacker with some sophisticated tools at your disposal. There are so many middle men between you and the internet, there’s your ISP, telecom companies if you’re using mobile data, there are internet protocols that website follow then some regulations imposed by your country’s government etc. Also IP address and cookies aren’t the only way website can recognise you by, there’s your browser configuration, the number of apps you have installed of your device, your location, timestamps, what you search for, what you click, your online behaviour, your writing style etc and each of these are demonstrated to be able to uniquely identify you. Google can identify you even on anonymous internet forums. Privacy is just an imagination.
You’re missing the point then. Big cooperation with lots of resources will beat you every time, but that shouldn’t be your reason to surf internet naked. Then even an alone person can collect sufficient data on you from tracking. The point is to make it harder or impossible for these individuals.
What’s weird is that my friends and I ate something we do not usually eat. We enjoyed it and the food was gone in minutes. No phones, no social media. And then the next day I opened my facebook and scroll through my newsfeed, it literally showed the food we ate the day before and it was listed as sponsored. Very creepy indeed

If you hate ads so much,UA-cam offers a premium version without ads 🙄 3. Hate ads all you want at least without them the internet would be worse as everyone would have been required to to pay a fee in order to access a webpage coz the servers aren't free 😒
Cookies are stored on your computer. You can delete them, but remember their servers store info as well. So deleting cookies won't fully remove their tracking of you. Try it. Delete all cookies and see what happens. If you're logged in somewhere, you'll notice you'll stay logged in to the site because servers store your info through server variables in the code that track your IP address and your Computer's MAC address (your computer's "signature"). And when I designed websites years ago, I preferred those server variables over cookies because cookies can be deleted and all the info is gone. So I used cookies for temporary storage (which you might see "TEMP" written in the cookies' title). Remember that deleting cookies won't solve everything.

I overcame this technique to delete cookies in the browser and delete/disable Google to save my history via google account. And it worked. No ad resembles my personalization.
