I wonder if the lower temperature measured than what was selected is intentional to account for convectiion efficiency? My convection oven does this so recipes designed for a conventional oven are not overcooked.
Same here - my convection oven will automatically step down the temp by 25 degrees (eg, if you say 400, it will tell you it’s going to 375) because convection baking cooks faster than non-convection baking. I wonder if Instant did that here but didn’t tell anyone.
@@aaronstestlab k just thought that may be the reason it seems flimsy. Well mine just arrived last night so im slowly unboxing. I'm real weak so its a bit hard but im doing it in stages taking breaks. I'm an ole granny so im im super slow hehehe. Im trying to record my progress so if i don't look too foolish I'll post it probably about 2 weeks, I'm slowwww lol
Hello with the picture of the different modes picture. What does coil element mean? How is it different from lower and upper element being on or off please

You have an awesome point about the amps. I've just moved into an older rental and this is a problem. Thanks a lot for pointing it out! 👍
Did you ever think about using the included cooking pan as your catch pan for grease and crumbs thats what I use it for.
good idea
What is the actual max temp?!?!!????
Another outstanding review. Thank you.
Thanks again!

Is the fan on for all of the settings and is it loud? I'm looking for a quite air fryer oven. Any recommendations?

There's a third element, in-between the top two, looks like a coil, like an old-school electric stove top.
@@aaronstestlab I assume thats the air fryer heating element.

Can you please let me know the internal dimensions?
Can anyone recommend a beginners recipe book? I

Great Review! I just migrated over here from your Calphalon Performance oven review and I think I'm favoring the Calphalon. thoughts?
I like the Calphalon for its build quality and temp accuracy. I like the instant for its ease of use and excellent air fry performance.
It's not quite a full review if you don't touch on the baking function at all.
The oven instructions specifically say not to put foil in the appliance.
Sound like something a commie would say
I'm sure all toaster ovens say that... I've always put foil in my toaster ovens, it helps keep it clean
