the reason why it has 17s and sport bike tires is because "Motard" is just another name for supermoto, a dirt bike or dual sport bike repurposed for street use.
I also have this bike purchased it last August,i get 6 months of winter here where i live in Canada, so i take full advantage the other 6 months, just had my first service done on it,not cheep, fairly expensive maintanance, but well worth it because it truly is a great bike. I don't like the fact that you need a Ducati dealer to shut off the service lights, just a way of making sure that you come back to them so their shop makes more money on servicing it. Just a little underhanded i think. But i do love this machine.
The "Scrambler" Urban "Motard" moniker is understandably a bit of an oxymoron. Scramblers being street bikes turned dirt capable, and motards being dirt machines turned long-travel all terrain race machines But yeah, the sporty aggressive tires comes from the heritage of supermotos being a race category of redline revving dirt bikes turned hill jumping hairpin drifting chimera
Since I ride the Hyper 939, it’s 113bhp I never want to go under that power given I can reach 145km on expressway with no shaking or wobbling, the Hyper is the first choice for sure
First: the Cafe Racer model has 17" front wheel too. Even spoked ! Second: you don't get the idea behind these bike, I think ! Just look at the Husqvarna 701 SM, for ex. !!
I have had around 30 Ducs throughout the years from the 916 to the Panigale but currently my only Ducati is a Scrambler Desert Sled. It's a great motorcycle for what it is, but I don't brag to anyone that it's a Ducati because it's definitely not on that level of sex appeal...... surprisingly you can drag the pegs with ease.

I own a 2020 Full Throttle, almost same bike, and I love it! Easy to ride, pretty agile, and with the exact amount of power for an all-around bike.

Love it! In the process of buying one now. Thanks for the video.
I have the same bike, had it over a year now and loving it 👍 wish I can get either the TERMINGONI or AKRA EXHAUST
Love it. The only problem is the graphic and the lack of rain protection with the mudguards.
What about putting bigger weels? Some 19 and tires more suitable for off road and pavement?
Do you think it could work?

"Euro 5 is not needed". A yes wise words, lets make Philippine weather even more unbearable lol.
With the price and having the name of a ducati, basic technology should've been incorporated. TCS,ABS, and 2 riding modes at least.
Wot a price
Hermosa 😍
Present Sir 🙋
ducati cringe is in full swing in the scrambler!
Yamatard spotted!
Not cringe but definitely lacking
