Mens sana in corpore sano (A sound mind in a sound body). The point artist is trying to make is that news media write and talk about health, supplements, diet, beauty, exercising... Meghan Markle was mentioned because in media there was an article about most important issue for the survival of life on our planet, her hair. According to media, woman has to be beautiful, artist has to be beautiful and healthy otherwise can not succeed. And artist asks: What about "Mens sana" part? Media do not care about state of mind, peoples spirit, mental health. To the contrary. Fake news, all sorts of lies (Serbians are especially sensitive because they were and still are victims of media warfare for over three decades) are there to make us total idiots, ignorant about what really is happening around us, spreading belief that nuclear war can be won or that Putin is going to back down if enough pressure he is under, unaware of how close we are of destroying our home, Earth. Read lyrics carefully several times, and pay attention to lyrics at the end: "A sick mind in a healthy body A sad soul in a healthy body A desperate mind in a healthy body A terrified mind in a healthy body" Celebrities appear beautiful, healthy and they are successful. Than, unexpectedly, they commit a suicide. Whitney Houston, Robin Williams, Anthony Bourdain...
This song really needs to be listened more than once even if you are Serbian speaker 2-3x is minimum and what is interesting the more you listen you start to like it more at least in my case that what's happened

I've watched a lot of reactions to this songs by now. Everybody wants to look at the lyrics and understand what this song is about. I think this is the strength of this performance: it conveys the message, even if you don't speak Serbian. I mean, how many people looked up Chanel's lyrics? (just to make an example) I haven't seen that yet. This is really special.
Semifinal video have 7,4 M views. She came "from nothing". Month ago the songs were released and big favorites were Sara Jo, Zorja, Angelina who are much more famous, but then...after semifinal 1, on the scene she slayed, and became viral on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter all over the region. Of course, "spleen", "Megn Markle's hair" provoked public to listen her song, but then she got twice more votes than Sara that was big favorite to win. Very deep message is behind this song and her fantastic charisma. This is art and full performance. Some pople who are not big fans of ESC voted few days ago. For the first time in Serbia won such type of music. She released TRIPTIH 3 songs in 1 video, you should check it. She is amazing. This "In Corpore sano" have a lots of hidden symbolies, and signs. She said that everyone can understand the song on their own way. But the most important message is about mental health.
I'm glad that you understood it, you really gave your best.Thank you!Konstrakta is a genious artist with a huge experiance. I am from Serbia and I would vote for her even if I didn't hear this song , cause I know her work so far☺️👌
I was watching several reactions to this song on youtube because at first I thought "what the heck is this?" but the latin part really brings the meaning and beuty of the song. Sadly many people and much older than you don't understand this message and even can't recognise the latin lyrics, that are very well known (we learned them at school). I am so happy that a young man like you researched the lyrics, had a deeper approach to the message and showed intelligence and maturity.
dont forget there are 2 more months before the actual voting. there are more than enough time for europe and australia to understand her message. besides there will be lyrics in english as a part of her staging in Turin for sure. thanks for honest and qualitative reaction. dont worry if people dont like that you respect song but it is not your cup of tea. i feel the same for spanish song or australian one. i see it is good material but not at all for me. respect
what's especially remarkable is that the song was arbitrarily chosen to compete in the national final, simply because it's the shortest of the three songs in the artist's "Triptih" project. She had no intention to win ------ and then did so by a record margin. If she can make it through the semi (which I think she will), ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN. We could be looking at a Eurovision gamechanger, paving the way for what the competition will become in the next 10 years.
Great video, great reactions! ...you look sooo confused, I just wanted to hug you and tell you "everything will be OK" 😂 ...soo sweet Thanks from Serbia 🇷🇸
The very title of the song "In corpore sano" has a historical background. Namely, it is a part of the Latin proverb "Mens sana in corpore sano" which means "In a healthy body a healthy spirit". It is believed that it was first used by the Roman satirist Juvenal, i.e. that this is an abbreviated form of his saying: "Orandum est ut sit mens sana in corpore sano", ie "One should pray for a healthy spirit in a healthy body". Constract's verse "God of Health" is probably on the trail of this. These are not the only verses of the song that are in Latin. Here is the complete text: “What is the secret of healthy hair Megan Markle? What's the secret? What is the secret of healthy hair Megan Markle? What's the secret? (What's the secret?) I think it's deep hydration. They say that everything is clearly visible on the skin and hair. it's magic (In the name of health) An artist can be healthy Be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, bi-bi-bi-be healthy Be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, can, can, can In corpore sano, in corpore sano In corpore sano, in corpore sano In corpore sano, in corpore sano Corpus is sano and what are we going to do now? I want to go to the bathroom only Animal tristis to go to the bathroom I want to go to the bathroom to go to the store to go to the bathroom And what are we going to do now? In a healthy body, in a healthy body, In a healthy body, in a healthy body In a healthy body, in a healthy body The body is healthy, And what do we do now? A weak mind in a healthy body, A sad soul in a healthy body, A desperate mind in a healthy body, A frightened mind in a healthy body, And what do we do now? ” The poem can therefore be "read" in several ways. It may be a review of the crown pandemic that is (hopefully) behind us. He can talk about the bad health care system in Serbia, because of which freelance artists do not have a booklet, nor the possibility to be treated when they understand. It can be interpreted as pressure on women, especially those in public life, to always be beautiful. Finally, he can talk about mental health, which is sometimes neglected in relation to physical health - the song explicitly says that he can be weak in a healthy body. desperate and frightened mind or sad soul. Just as Konstrakta says at the end - "So what do we do now?" desperate and frightened mind or sad soul. Just as Konstrakta says at the end - "So what do we do now?" desperate and frightened mind or sad soul. Just as Konstrakta says at the end - "So what do we do now?"
It is a metaphor. She represents health system which washes hands (denies responsibility). Pontius Pilate washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person (Jesus). He was washing his hands of the responsibility. Whole stage is a metaphor. "Metallic voices" and robotic movements with hands represent estrangement - dehumanization. During performance there's no emotion on her face. She is like robot. She walks her dog. That is another sign of estrangement, proof that our civilization is on verge of extinction. It is sad that dog became man's "best friend". I remember times (I am 67) when my best friends walked on two legs (and without leash - covid pass or passport). Music is, also, descriptive. After "I do not have health insurance" there is GP and rhythm (heart beat) stops and there is a "cuckoo" musical effect symbolising psychotic episode - travel to "parallel - alternative world", something like "alternative truth" as Donald Trump said. At the end there is sequence of semi-tone steps upward in music called "tonal jump" used to elevate tension towards climax: "So, now what"? Very well done. Do not take everything literary.
Many artists in Serbia do not have health insurance and health coverage. She is obsessively washing her hands and relying on God will to protect her (God give health, God give health), or counting her steps (exercising), hoping she stays healthy because she will not be able to afford healthcare costs if she gets ill (especially highlighted during the COVID pandemic). Additionally, the song is a criticism of the society's obsession with the outside beauty and physical appearance; People are not even worried about their health; they just wanna look great and know the "secret to healthy hair of celebrities" (e.g., Meghan Markle), or secret to their beautiful nails, or tips for beautiful makeup (think Kardashian sisters who promote controversial weight loss products, products that are most likely not 100% healthy, but our kids keep buying them). Today, people do not even focus on health, especially mental health. For instance, we were obsessed with Meghan Markle's beauty, but nobody even noticed her mental struggle and depression she was suffering a few years ago. In addition, Konstrakta used Marina Abramovic as an inspiration: Marina's performance is called "Art Must Be Beautiful, Artist Must Be Beautiful", Konstrakta says "Artist Must Be Healthy", not only beautiful. And the lyrics in Latin go: "A sick mind in a healthy body A sad soul in a healthy body A desperate mind in a healthy body A frightened mind in a healthy body" What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair? What could be the secret? What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair? What could it be? (What could be the secret?) I think that Secret is the deep hydration As they say One's skin and hair reveal everything clearly For example: dark circles around eyes Point out to livеr issues Dark spots around lips might mean you have an еnlarged spleen An enlarged spleen is not good, not pretty [Pre-Chorus] Because an artist - she has to be healthy [Chorus] She has to be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, be, be, be Be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, she has to, has to, has to It's such fortune that The autonomic nervous system exists So I don't have to control my heartbeats Because the heart beats, it beats on its own Nice days, bright colors of the skirt on my body Of my skirt, my dog and I We are taking a walk, counting our steps The skirt goes around my leg, we are taking a walk and that's it And it doesn't have to be better, the heart beats on its own I put my trust in it, that it beats on its own I put my trust in it, that it beats, that I breathe God give me health, God give health, God give health (God give health) I don't have the health insurance [Verse 3] Oh, so how will they monitor me? (All in the name of health) How will they care for me? (All in the name of health) An artist is invisible (All in the name of health) You can't see me, it's magical (All in the name of health) [Pre-Chorus] An artist, she can be healthy [Chorus] She can be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, be, be, be Be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, she could be, could be, could be [Outro] In a healthy body, in a healthy body In a healthy body, in a healthy body In a healthy body, in a healthy body The body is healthy, so what do we do now? Dear Neon, very nice and accurate observation. What your eye missed is that she as a doctor is washing her hands of everything mentioned. She is giving her oppinion, even advice, but doing nothing to help you. It is an artistic expression of current Situation in the World. Serbian style of expressing by washing hands. In corpore sano (in a healthy body) is a song that will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. The music was written by Ana Đurić and Milovan Bošković, and the lyrics by Ana Đurić, who performs under the pseudonym Konstrakta. In corpore sano is an excerpt from the saying - men sana In corpore sano, which means healthy spirit in a healthy body, a verse written by the Roman poet Juvenal, born around the sixties of the new era. And this saying is taken from the verse which reads in its entirety - one should pray for a healthy spirit in a healthy body, ie "orandum est ut sit mens sana in corpore sano". In this original song, at the beginning there is a conditional and at the end the main title - "What are we going to do now?", What are we going to do now if we have a healthy body and a sick spirit, because we are not in healthy but sick times. The essence of Ana Đurić's text is the question - what if we are healthy if our mind is sick? She expresses it in the words - "the body is healthy and what will we do now, a weak mind in a healthy body, a sad soul in a healthy body, a desperate mind in a healthy body, a frightened mind in a healthy body" ... rhythm, Ana actually lets out a howl of despair of a modern man who promotes at all costs a healthy body, physics, matter, supplements, drugs, vaccines and constant hand washing, without anyone caring about the spirit that is sick due to the influence of propaganda, forcing false values for the purpose of general deafening. Humanity is healthy, but the spirit of the times is sick - weak, sad, desperate and scared. I read and listened to many comments that explained why this song won. I also voted for her for several reasons, and here are the main ones. It is important to say that I have been following Eurovision regularly. Although there were several misses, almost all the winning songs of that international competition deserved it with their quality, which was confirmed by the court of time. In the great competition, the song by Ana Đurić and Milovan Bošković was a real refreshment, because it exuded sincerity. The strength of the winning song is that it is not an imitation, but an original whose fuel is a special and unique artistic personality. It affected the audience who recognized it and gave their voice. Comparisons with Marina Abramović and her performances are completely wrong. In these comparisons, perhaps given with the best intentions, the idea of imitation is in fact unfounded. However, the original performance of the Handwashing Contract cannot be questioned by these comments. Washing hands with singing is a great choreographic solution for the title verse of the song - in a healthy body. The song certainly has the features of engaged art, which critically looks at the pandemic of the virus that kept the whole world in prison for two years in the form of satire. Hand washing symbolizes not only something that the health authorities have constantly recommended, but also alludes to hand washing from the responsibility of those who are guilty of this world scam. Although the text is insufficiently understood, and will not be understood by millions of viewers around the world, hand washing will speak for itself more than a thousand words. Unlike others, Konstrakta performed herself, not some imaginary superstar. The song was composed directly from the heart and is performed from the beginning to the end within the limits of the author's power. She does not strive to sing something she cannot, but within the limits of her power she gives the best she can. That must work, because it is true. As a person pressed by the collective fear that was deliberately propagated in the world for two years, Ana exclaimed - it was enough, what I wanted to say and I didn't. I trust her too. I am sure that, regardless of the malicious criticism that can be heard, this artist will win a high place in a major international competition (if held), and more than anyone so far will present Serbia as a country where people think for themselves. Hand washing as a symbol of cleansing from dirt will be well received not only as a kind of marking the end of the pandemic and all controversies, but also an invitation to start washing hands from all diseases of this world, which is not in the corner and which lacks Juvenile - we should pray for a healthy mind in a healthy body. In the end, I would not like to wash my hands out of Konstrakta's performance at Eurovision, and replace it with something else, on the advice of any so-called marketing team, because that would kill the very essence of the message, which will, regardless of hard-to-understand words I am sure that I will convey a clear message coming from Serbia to millions of viewers, which is that, in fact, without a healthy spirit, there is no healthy body. Nista ti nisi razumeo.
Give us the whole song to help you. Umetnica mora biti zdrava zdrava, zdrava. Artist must be healthy, healthy healthy. U zdravom telu zdravl duh. Sta ćemo sad. In the healthy body is the healthy spirit. What can we do now?
Zdravlje Boze is difficult to translate. Gad give us health in different context has a different meaning like in English where context is qute important. Often it means that you do not have to worry just do what you have and do not harry and make mistake and whach your health with help of God. Zdravlje Boze could mean we will get trough despite difficultes with help of God. I have to do this and this and this and your mum would say Zdravlje Boze. I need the whole song. I think she have used Zdravlje Boze in a few contexs.
I think it's about covid. Biti = to be; zdrava=healthy To be healthy! Latin part makes it interesting. There are some Latin similarities with Serbian such as Mens = mind is Um in Serbian. Then the call out to God for health like in a church. The ritual gives me some ancient Roman vibes lol!
The message of this song is that if you don't have health insurance, the health system tells you to pray to god for health. Artists in Serbia don't have health insurance. Artists are eternal freedom fighters. Artists do not recognize the lines drawn on the map of the world. The whole world is home to artists. Artists are not subject to the health systems of any state. They pretend to remain invisible to any political system. But they must remain healthy in the age of the global pandemic. This song is anti-nationalist, anti-discriminatory and globalist and very emotional although it is sung indifferently.
Коментари Унесите коментар… Закачио/ла: Danny The Swedish Musixian Jelena Kajari пре 13 сати Hei Eskobar! I love your song "Cold night"! Greetings from Serbia! 18 1 The song has so deep mesage for humanity This performance is art at it's purest. Although the lyrics may seem a bit silly at first, they are actually dead serious. There are so many layers to the song, and a lot of space for different interpretations. Konatrakta herself emphasized the importance of every listener's own interpretation. 1. The song opens with a headline from a beauty magazine that Konstrakta once saw: What is the secret to Meghan Markle's healthy hair? - This is a reference to modern society's obsession with beauty; That's what beauty magazines do - they create insecurities about your hair, skin, nails, weight etc. and then advertise products that promise to change that. That's what the second line of the song is about "I think that the secret is in deep hydration" 2.Then Konstrakta goes on talking about how our skin and hair often signal some inner health issues - for example liver and spleen problems - The reason she is thinking this is beacause she's worrying about her own health, she can't visit a doctor for a check up or get treatment because she doesn't have insurance. THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT because artists in Serbia still don't have health insurance. This is a paradox because Serbia, just like so many other countries has "universal healthcare" which in reality is not available to everyone. 3. She then goes on saying how and artist must be healthy - a reference to Marina Abramovic (Art is beautiful, Artist must be beautiful), and the reason she needs to be healthty is again - because she can't afford to get treatment. 4. Then comes the part about the autonomic nervous system and how we don't need to control our own heartbeats. She describes a beautiful summer day, she is waking her dog, her heart is beating and that's it - it doesn't need to get any better. She just puts her trust in her heart and lungs hoping they won't fail her (if they do fail her then that's it, the doctors won't help her and she made peace with that) 5. She then explicitly states I DON'T HAVE THE CARD (meaning health insurance card) 6. She wonders how will they help her then? While she's wondering that we can hear the backing vocals repeat the phrase Boze zdravlja - God grant us health. This is a reference to serbian culture where health is regarded as the most important part of life. God grant us health is a common saying, we use it all the time, and you will always hear people wishing other people good health (for their birthday, or really any holiday) because everything else (money, fame, love...) becomes meaningless if you are ill and in pain. This is again a paradox - in a society that nominally regards health as sacred she still doesn't have health insurance. She says - The (female) artist is invisible, you can't see me, it's magic. 7. The final part is probably the most important one. It's basically a play on the old latin saying Mens sana in corpore sano (A healthy mind in a healthy body), exept that Konstrakta makes it clear that only the body is healthy - the soul inside is desperate which is a commentary on our own reality, we are all obsessed with improving our health - we try to eat better, be more active, take all those expensive drugs and supplements - but what about our mind? More often than not it is our mind that needs care, not the body. And finally after making that clear she asks us - So what do we do now?
( sorry if my English is bad) Long story short - ( I suppose it's not just in Serbia, but in other countries also) our artists, touristic guides, painter, musicians etc. do not have the health insurance if they are not paying it them selfs alone. By the law she do not have health insurance unless she pays for it. Every citizen should be able to have the right to health insurance, right? Other than that, there's many other messages - for exemple: the outside beauty we see on social media, the perfect life, but not healthy body or mind. She kind of explains how our immune system works but the way she is serious about it and the way of serving it thru the song it has many ways to get in mind. The end of the song is Latin, which mostly explains the theme of the song.

This song is a part of three-song composition called TRIPTIH (triptych=trilogy) that you can find here: ua-cam.com/video/cfU63CHL4wo/v-deo.html First song NOBL focuses of being afraid of getting old and dying, the second one is this one In Corpore Sano, whereas the third one SOFT focuses on obsession with work and social standards. I find the Trilogy great but my personal favorite is " (Dang) I have no shaman" ua-cam.com/video/9Y575FhAErM/v-deo.html It's not my comment,( it was made by DRASKO JOVIC) but it's certainly the best explanation. I would add- before the very first verse, in this songs INTRO, the chorus is saying: "Onas eroproc ni somrefne snem " - Mens enfermos in corpore sano (Lat.) phrase but in backwards! That means "A sick mind in a healthy body" and it will be repeated at the end of the song only not in backwards The name of the song "In corpore sano" is in Latin and means "In a healthy body". It’s referring to the Latin saying "Mens sana in corpore sano" meaning "A healthy mind in a healthy body". - First: What is the secret to Meghan Markle's healthy hair? This is a reference to modern society's obsession with beauty! That's what beauty magazines do/they create insecurities about your hair, skin, weight, etc., and then advertise products that promise to change that. That's what the second line of the song is about "I think that the secret is in deep hydration" - Second: Konstrakta talks about how our skin and hair often signal some health issues, for example, liver and spleen problems. The reason she is thinking this is because she's worried about her own health, she can't visit a doctor for a check-up or get treatment because she doesn't have insurance, this is so important because independent artists in Serbia don't have health insurance. - Third: Then we hear her saying how an artist must be healthy, this is a reference to Marina Abramovic’s (internationally known Serbian performance artist) performances called “Art must be pretty, an artist must be pretty” where she sits for hours combing her hair while repeating that cause she realized people focused a lot on her looks and her hair being messy and prioritized that over her art, and the reason she needs to be healthy is that she can't afford to get treatment. - Fourth: the "Autonomic nervous system" part, talks about how we don't need to control our own heartbeats. She describes how she walks her dog, on a beautiful summer day, her heart beats on its own, and it doesn't need to get any better. She just puts her trust in her heart hoping it won't fail her (if it does fail her then that's it, the doctors won't help her and she made peace with that), and that's why she prays to God, "God give us health". - Fifth: She then says "I DON'T HAVE THE HEALTH INSURANCE!" (Even with "free" health insurance we are still paying a lot for medications, fees, etc. We are always paying insurance through salaries, for both employed and unemployed, and if you don't have "free" health insurance, you are paying way more, which is a situation with independent artists in Serbia.) - Sixth: Phrase "Boze zdravlja"/"God grant us health". This is a common saying, we use it all the time, and you will always hear people wishing other people good health (for their birthday, or really any holiday) because everything else (money, fame, love...) becomes meaningless if you are ill and in pain. She then says, the artist (she) is invisible, you can't see me, it's magic because she is invisible to health care, they won't treat her! - Seventh: Now, last part, it's basically the old Latin saying: Mens sana in corpore sano (A healthy mind in a healthy body), except that Konstrakta makes it clear that only the body is healthy, the soul inside is desperate, we are all obsessed with improving our health, we try to eat better, be more active, take all those expensive drugs and supplements, but what about our mind? Mens infirma in corpore sano - Weak mind in a healthy body Animus tristis in corpore sano - A sad soul in a healthy body Mens desperata in corpore sano - Desperate mind in a healthy body Mens conterrita in corpore sano - A frightened mind in a healthy body The endless chanting of the mantra about a healthy body is destroyed by enumerating the weaknesses of the mind and soul from which no health can be born. The final verse of the song "and what are we going to do now" is a jargon of common sense cold shower which was poured over the mass media propaganda about a healthy body without a healthy mind and soul, after making that clear she asks us - So what do we do now? Now about the hand washing: 1) She is dressed in white, she symbolizes the health care system (she reminds us of a nurse for example) and she is washing her hands. Why? Because of covid? NO! It is a metaphor about how health care workers need to "wash their hands off" meaning clear their conscience when they refuse to treat you because you don't have insurance. Just like when Pontius Pilate washed his hands before the crucifixion of Jesus - he tried to clear his conscience and make it clear that he wasn't the one who killed Jesus - it was the Law. In the same way, many people in the government or in positions are washing their hands off and can't help you because of the Law. 2) People standing behind her can be priests that pray for her health and/or are getting ready for her to die.
This is sooooóóo good!!! 👍 This isn't an usual la,la,laaa Eurovision song, the audience need brain to understand this metaphorical meaning. BRAVO KONSTRAKTA 👏 There are more than 2-3 different, important topics and even more interpretations. 1. Megan: Rich people/ contrast in lifestyle, "beauty", their artificially and us, ordinary people on the other side. 2. Washing hands: in Slavic nations it emphasises how the "authorities/governments" "washing hands" or not taking responsibility for the wellbeing of the ordinary people (water washes everything/every dirt from their hand/authorities hands). 3. Last 2 years & Covid-19 measures, people were locked at home, directed to wash hands/face etc. in order to keep themselves healthy but at the same time them 5 people in dark clothes standing & watching?! These are the authorities. 4. "Let the heart beating..." we are actually left alone, nobody cares about ordinary people. 5. Find a video with English subtitles and read what is she singing in her last 3-4 sentences in Latin!!!! This is actually the finale..." ill/sick mind in the healthy body" = we became unwell/ill because of the restrictions during last few years...the ongoing lockdowns across the planet created so many mental health problems. 6. Now after hearing/ understanding last 3 sentences, go to the beginning and start again... here come the rich people (Megan)... they can be "beautiful" ...bla,bla... but in the end copying them, celebrities makes us all artificial and we lost our mind, ourselves, we gave/sold our souls, our individuality because of copying various top models and celebrities. :)
Even for Serbians it's not easy to understand what really she want to say. I think that song is clear sarcasm. Meaning of those lyrics are much deeper.
Approach to health issues in the modern society in general (not necessarily COVID) that is commercialized, has a consumerism appraoch. That is overall. There are a few more, including that in Serbia, to have free access to health care, you need to be employed or be in the unemployment rows. If you are a free artist, this is a middle ground (if I am understanding correctly) and those people are not having the coverage - by law they should, through their associations (painters association, performance artists association etc.) but the government is owing money to the funf for last seven years or so, and hence, no coverage for free artists unless they cover it for themselves, which most of them can not. At the end of the song, final few lines, in latin, she says the all health & beauty products take care of the healthy body, but (in latin), sick mind in healthy body, sad soul in healthy body, the mind is desperate in healthy body, terrified mind in healthy body, and what are we going to do now (last line). This question implicitely indicates another round of medical products to now make our mind healhy, which is another field of opportunity for pharmaceutical industry to start making profit on our health i.e. 'break it so you can fix it later'. These are the messages (there are quite a few).
Sorry for bad english...She has no life insurance because she dont work in factory , bank or megamarket...Artist can work 10-12 hours there like regular people but then no time for art... ...we all be "healthy" then but without artist who inspire people for living...without art we are animals...so.. she pray God for her health because she is invisible for health system. Very deep song , beyond eurovision style
Lots of health articles. It affects mental health. People are constantly worried that they have to buy this, that. Consumer society. You cannot be treated without health insurance. When you have health, then they follow you. Your dnk, sales authorities, digital chip ...
Thank you for all the explanations in the comments! And now I know that this song has way more views than the video I watched.
Read lyrics carefully several times, and pay attention to lyrics at the end:
"A sick mind in a healthy body
A sad soul in a healthy body
A desperate mind in a healthy body
A terrified mind in a healthy body"
Celebrities appear beautiful, healthy and they are successful. Than, unexpectedly, they commit a suicide. Whitney Houston, Robin Williams, Anthony Bourdain...
an English subtitle may be included in the video
This song really needs to be listened more than once even if you are Serbian speaker 2-3x is minimum and what is interesting the more you listen you start to like it more at least in my case that what's happened

I've watched a lot of reactions to this songs by now. Everybody wants to look at the lyrics and understand what this song is about. I think this is the strength of this performance: it conveys the message, even if you don't speak Serbian. I mean, how many people looked up Chanel's lyrics?

Good energy to you. Your review was respectful. This is my favorite song, but I understand it will not be everyone's favorite.

Bravo!!! So what do we now?
And the lyrics in Latin go:
"A sick mind in a healthy body
A sad soul in a healthy body
A desperate mind in a healthy body
A frightened mind in a healthy body"
What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
What could be the secret?
What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
What could it be? (What could be the secret?)
I think that
Secret is the deep hydration
As they say
One's skin and hair reveal everything clearly
For example: dark circles around eyes
Point out to livеr issues
Dark spots around lips might mean you have an еnlarged spleen
An enlarged spleen is not good, not pretty
[Pre-Chorus]
Because an artist - she has to be healthy
[Chorus]
She has to be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, be, be, be
Be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, she has to, has to, has to
It's such fortune that
The autonomic nervous system exists
So I don't have to control my heartbeats
Because the heart beats, it beats on its own
Nice days, bright colors of the skirt on my body
Of my skirt, my dog and I
We are taking a walk, counting our steps
The skirt goes around my leg, we are taking a walk and that's it
And it doesn't have to be better, the heart beats on its own
I put my trust in it, that it beats on its own
I put my trust in it, that it beats, that I breathe
God give me health, God give health, God give health
(God give health) I don't have the health insurance
[Verse 3]
Oh, so how will they monitor me? (All in the name of health)
How will they care for me? (All in the name of health)
An artist is invisible (All in the name of health)
You can't see me, it's magical (All in the name of health)
[Pre-Chorus]
An artist, she can be healthy
[Chorus]
She can be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, be, be, be
Be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, she could be, could be, could be
[Outro]
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
The body is healthy, so what do we do now?
A sick mind in a healthy body
A sad soul in a healthy body
A desperate mind in a healthy body

(Dragan Babović - fineartdmb.com)
Nista ti nisi razumeo. Propustio si deo o mentalnom zdravlju. Najteze je prepoznati da imas tu vrstu problema.
I love you man, if you ever come by Serbia, you have a beer ! or a juice haha

The song has so deep mesage for humanity
This performance is art at it's purest.
That's what the second line of the song is about "I think that the secret is in deep hydration"
2.Then Konstrakta goes on talking about how our skin and hair often signal some inner health issues - for example liver and spleen problems - The reason she is thinking this is beacause she's worrying about her own health, she can't visit a doctor for a check up or get treatment because she doesn't have insurance.
She just puts her trust in her heart and lungs hoping they won't fail her (if they do fail her then that's it, the doctors won't help her and she made peace with that)
5. She then explicitly states I DON'T HAVE THE CARD (meaning health insurance card)
P.S. Her best friend, an artist, died bcs he didnt have health insurance! So ..yep!
washes his hands - takes away responsibility
Lyric: In a Healthy Body
(Verse 1)
What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
What could be the secret?
What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
What could it be? (What could be the secret?)
I think that secret is the deep hydration
As they say, one's skin and hair reveal everything clearly
For example: dark circles around eyes point out to liver issues
Stains around lips might mean you have an enlarged spleen
An enlarged spleen is not good, not pretty
Because an artist - she has to be healthy
(Bridge)
(She has to) be healthy, be healthy,
Be healthy, be be be be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, she has to, has to, has to
(Verse 2)
It's such fortune that
the autonomic nervous system exists
So I don't have to control my heartbeats
because the heart beats, it beats on its own
Summer days, bright colors of the skirt on my body
of my skirt, my dog and I
we are taking a walk, counting our steps
the skirt goes around my leg
we are taking a walk and that's it
And it doesn't have to be better than that, the heart beats on its own
I put my trust in it, that it beats on its own
I put my trust in it, that it beats, that I breathe
God give (me) health, God give health, God give health
(God give health)
I don't have the (health) card
Oh, so how will they monitor me (In the name of health)
and care about me (In the name of health)
An artist (she) is invisible (In the name of health)
You don't see me, it's magic (In the name of health)
An artist, she can be healthy
(Bridge)
(She can) be healthy, be healthy,
Be healthy, be be be be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, she can, she can, she can
Chorus:
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
the body is healthy, so what do we do now?
A sick mind in a healthy body
A sad soul in a healthy body
A desperate mind in a healthy body
A frightened mind in a healthy body
So what do we do now?

Since Jamala won for Ukraine against Sergey Lazarev from Russia a few years ago, it is expected that Ukraine will win this year. Eurovision was since I remember it a political competition.
Question of Megan hair-stupidity,interest in superficial things, washing hands-obssesion for low values in life, must and can be healthy-freedom of creativity and thinking still can be reached which goverments are most afraid of,walking dog-enjoy in simple things and latin part concludes it all

What's the secret?
What is the secret of healthy hair Megan Markle?
What's the secret? (What's the secret?)
I think it's about deep hydration
They say that everything is clearly visible on the skin and hair
For example, dark circles around the eyes indicate liver problems
Snoring around the lips may be an enlarged spleen

Be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, must, must, must
[Verse 2]
It is a great happiness that it exists
Autonomic nervous system
I don't have to control my heart rate
The heart beats, the heart just beats
Summer days, bright colors, my skirts on my body
My skirts, the dog and me
The two of us walk, count the steps, the skirt goes around my leg
We walk and that's it
And it doesn't have to be better, the heart just beats
I give confidence, let him just knock
I give confidence, let it knock, let it breathe
God of health, God of health, God of health
(Good health) I don't have a booklet
So how to follow me (In the name of health)
To take care of me (In the name of health)
The artist is invisible (In the name of health)
You don't see me, it's magic (In the name of health)
An artist can be healthy

[Chorus]
In corpore sano, in corpore sano
In corpore sano, in corpore sano
In corpore sano, in corpore sano
The corpus is sanum and what shall we do now
I have to go to the bathroom
Animus tristis in corpore sano
I was expecting nothing in the body
I have a lot of fun
And what now
...
SHE is GREAT.

Serbia 😍😍😍⭐
This song is a part of three-song composition called TRIPTIH (triptych=trilogy) that you can find here: ua-cam.com/video/cfU63CHL4wo/v-deo.html
First song NOBL focuses of being afraid of getting old and dying, the second one is this one In Corpore Sano, whereas the third one SOFT focuses on obsession with work and social standards.
I find the Trilogy great but my personal favorite is " (Dang) I have no shaman" ua-cam.com/video/9Y575FhAErM/v-deo.html
It's not my comment,( it was made by DRASKO JOVIC) but it's certainly the best explanation.
I would add- before the very first verse, in this songs INTRO, the chorus is saying: "Onas eroproc ni somrefne snem " - Mens enfermos in corpore sano (Lat.) phrase but in backwards! That means "A sick mind in a healthy body" and it will be repeated at the end of the song only not in backwards
The name of the song "In corpore sano" is in Latin and means "In a healthy body".
That's what the second line of the song is about "I think that the secret is in deep hydration"
- Second: Konstrakta talks about how our skin and hair often signal some health issues, for example, liver and spleen problems.
We are always paying insurance through salaries, for both employed and unemployed, and if you don't have "free" health insurance, you are paying way more, which is a situation with independent artists in Serbia.)
- Sixth: Phrase "Boze zdravlja"/"God grant us health".
Mens infirma in corpore sano - Weak mind in a healthy body
Animus tristis in corpore sano - A sad soul in a healthy body
Mens desperata in corpore sano - Desperate mind in a healthy body
Mens conterrita in corpore sano - A frightened mind in a healthy body
The endless chanting of the mantra about a healthy body is destroyed by enumerating the weaknesses of the mind and soul from which no health can be born. The final verse of the song "and what are we going to do now" is a jargon of common sense cold shower which was poured over the mass media propaganda about a healthy body without a healthy mind and soul, after making that clear she asks us - So what do we do now?
Now about the hand washing:
1) She is dressed in white, she symbolizes the health care system (she reminds us of a nurse for example) and she is washing her hands.
👍👍👍👍👍
omg you are cute 🥰
This is sooooóóo good!!! 👍 This isn't an usual la,la,laaa Eurovision song, the audience need brain to understand this metaphorical meaning.
BRAVO KONSTRAKTA 👏
There are more than 2-3 different, important topics and even more interpretations.
it does require a brain to understand, since you didn't understand anything except face-value.
Dear friends, be honest. Do you remember the song whose messages were talked about so much?
Greetings !

Konstrakta is the best 🥇❤️
BRAVO KONSTTRAKTA 12 POINT FOR THIS SONG VERI INTERSTING SONG IN 2O22
These are the messages (there are quite a few).
good
Sorry for bad english...She has no life insurance because she dont work in factory , bank or megamarket...Artist can work 10-12 hours there like regular people but then no time for art... ...we all be "healthy" then but without artist who inspire people for living...without art we are animals...so.. she pray God for her health because she is invisible for health system. Very deep song , beyond eurovision style
meen: no need health control with chip. we need simple natural life.she says:we walk. no need better.
Dečko, nisi shvatio pesmu. Tumačenje ovih metafora je deo opšte kulture.

Србија 🇷🇸
Lots of health articles. It affects mental health. People are constantly worried that they have to buy this, that. Consumer society. You cannot be treated without health insurance. When you have health, then they follow you. Your dnk, sales authorities, digital chip ...
