I don't agree with Omar's take on WNBA funding. Ice Cube was probably loaned that money. I don't think people are investing 5M to compete with the NBA. He already said he was having trouble getting investor support because he is directly competing with the NBA. Women's sports could benefit from a change in perception. Players "exposing" NBA players, constantly comparing themselves to other leagues, and showing strong resistance to anything that may further divide their game from the NBA despite having an entertainment issue.
