Omar and Sage are wrong on this situation. I watched the whole video. He was approached by a 2 strangers and a third behind him. The de-escalation was when the guy said “No”, two seconds later said “Stop”, and then turns and walk away. Once that guy starts to follow him, he turned into a threat.
Any self defense instructor will tell you that if you turn your back and the person starts to follow you, you defend yourself because you don’t know what that person will do.
You can open carry in Virginia. Just like how Omar says he assumes everyone has a gun in Georgia, it’s the same way in Virginia. People need to leave people alone. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Don’t feel sorry for the guy 🤷🏾♂️

I couldn’t disagree with Omar and Sage more about the breaking in point. As someone who walked in on someone breaking into their house as a freshman in high school, if i would’ve had the tools, i would’ve done put em down. Solz was right, you don’t know what you’d do until presented with that scenario in real life. I know a few people who have put down burglars in their house and i promise the last thing they thought in that moment was that burglars life and their morals.

I know one specific case in Conyers some years ago where a man was home with his sick mother. Dudes broke in, when he came down with the gun, they fled and he put two out of the three down. He walked because he had every right to defend his home, actually they didn’t even file charges if i recall.

Just because they’re fleeing doesn’t mean they won’t come back. I’m not saying you should have the intent to kill, but definitely the intent to stop at least.
