Thank you very much for this video. I've revived a dead Beats Pill for GBP21/USD28 replacement battery. For once I had no parts left over! The only thing is I broke a leg off the tiny ribbon insert. But still manage to insert the small ribbon.
While replacing the batteries on my beats pill I broke the very small tab that holds the gold ribbon (seen at 4 minutes and 20 seconds on your video "How to Replace A Battery Beats By Dre Pill B0513 Bluetooth"). Is there a fix or replacement for this? Thanks!
This was a great video if I can do it anyone can. Only advice I have is to make sure the power buttons and all are in alignment or else it will not turn on.
Do you do the battery replacement I bought a brand new Beats Pill in full Packaging the first charge it seems like I got about 4 hours out of it when I should have got 6.5

I am posting from my personal experience with this battery replacement. I ordered the replacement maybe a year and a half ago. It worked fine for maybe a year with very minimal use as I don't use my pill often, maybe 1-2 times a month for a hour or two at a time. After about a year it would indicate it was dying with my phone constantly popping up with the notification that the speaker was less than 10% charged even though I had fully charged it the night before for example and never used it. At this point I can turn it on and will get the notification that its less than 10% charged (which I know isn't true), plug the charger into it and 10min later the green light will show its fully charged. Also if I plug it into the charger and start using it when it says its low even if I know it's not it will never fully charge and won't show the green light if I'm using it. I wouldn't waste my time on repairing your pill at this point of time and just go buy a new device.
I just want to know is there any way to use beats pill parts to make new bluetooth speaker because I cant find replacement speakers for it because they are broken

OMG! Yes I fixed my pill. It works perfectly. It turns on and off. The only thing is I can’t see the red light around the charging port to see if it is charging. Maybe it is charged all the way already. Edit: now the red light turned on. Never mind I fixed it. It took me less than 20 mins to repair it once I got the battery.

Hi, I received today the battery pack! However, trying to fix the main board to the charging base I broke the antena flex that links the main board to the charging base. I´m trying to solder it. However, can it be replaced?

Just use 2x 18650 batteries, 3D print backpack wire batteries to bms and thats it more capacity cooler design when you have beats pill dude etc all u need is to drill one hole for cables

If you replace the battery and the charger port doesn’t light it you probably had a broken charger port in the first place rather than a bad battery. Joe

I found the problem! The main board was not completely tucked under the tabs to click into the housing. So, if you put the rest together correctly but not the board, there will be a noticeable "rattle" coming out of the In/out jacks causing the entire unit to buzz and sound terrible. 8:00 it's key to put the board under the 2 tabs just like shown.

put it back together and audio buttons werent working, red button wouldnt glow. Had sound but couldnt turn it up much . I think this things just broken cause i took it apart, got it nice n tight did it perfect, and now theres no sound at all. F my Life
Thanks for watching! No, if you have ripped the orange ribbon cable, that would cause the speaker to not work correctly if it has been ripped significantly. MD.
You would need to replace the ribbon cable. The ribbon cable supplied power to the up/down volume buttons and the "b" button on the front of the speaker. It is extremely hard to remove the whole circuit board and ribbon cable on the housing without damaging it and as such we do not sell it separately. You have to check and see if your charger port is damaged or not.
Ok how do you keep that flex in place if the little plastic clip is damaged. One of the posts broke off so it won't keep the flex in place.

My beats pill has a different board and the battery connect is soldered on, yes it’s a 2.0 beats pill i had apple authenticate it. What should I do?

put it back together and audio buttons werent working, red button wouldnt glow. Had sound but couldnt turn it up much . I think this things just broken cause i took it apart, got it nice n tight did it perfect, and now theres no sound at all. F my Life

Thanks for watching! No, if you have ripped the orange ribbon cable, that would cause the speaker to not work correctly if it has been ripped significantly. MD.
How can I fix it
You would need to replace the ribbon cable. The ribbon cable supplied power to the up/down volume buttons and the "b" button on the front of the speaker. It is extremely hard to remove the whole circuit board and ribbon cable on the housing without damaging it and as such we do not sell it separately. We do sell a new replacement housing on our website here: www.joesge.com/products/parts-beats-pill-2?variant=42278620803 This cover only works with the Pill 2.0, not the Pill 1.0. MD.

Nicole Sanchez I’m not certain but I think that ribbon cable is for NFC, which I doubt many people use anyway so it probably doesn’t really matter.
The ribbon can be replaced.

There is nothing to zoom in on. There is no soldering required. If you want to zoom in your can do that on your phone.
