Cargo pants and a pair of summer sandals, a men’s jacket with a delicate top, a black dress worn with white boots. This season’s wardrobe navigates through contrats between day and night, feminine and masculine, dressed up and casual.
It borrows from the 90s its simplicity, its effortless sophistication and the fluidity of its silhouettes. The Isabel Marant « dégaine » is cool, feminine, urban. This girl switches between loose low-waisted pants and midi-lenght dress, silk and leather.
Denim pieces manifest a Y2K era comeback. Baggy volumes are offset by an emphasis on shoulders. Balloon sleeves grace a lace blouse, an embroidered velvet jacket and a fuchsia dress.
The Fall palette sees a blend of lavender knits, shiny yellow velvet and silver coated cotton. As one of Isabel Marant’s emblematic patterns, a floral print shows up on flou pieces and reasserts yet another house’s signature.
