Agnethas christmas album is THE christmas album of my childhood, I can't remember at time before it. It's magical to me and fills me with so much joy, her and Linda together. The album as a whole really. Also love Fridas När det lider mot jul, classic swedish christmas song and beautiful in her rendition. Nu tändas tusen juleljus is a song all swedes sing/hear a lot, can't escape it, so no wonder even ABBA couldn't. :) Last but not least, Little things, love it! And Happy New Year will always be the No. 1 song for New year's, they play it already on the radio in Sweden... a bit early maybe, but it's a staple as well. 🎄❄✨

A single Christmas ABBA song? Who would have thought of this?! I feel flabbergasted, bewildered, flummoxed and all the maximalist superlatives I could think of, because all these troves of marvelous music do exist! Enough to fill a rather large BOX if released in a single unit. With most of it yet unheard by most of us uber fans and more so for the rest of the world! What a beautiful prospect. I am already eager to own good sound quality versions of several of the mentioned songs and interpretations. To name a few; Hepstars' 1967 psychedelic-classical overtoned Christmas album, Anni-Frid's operatic version, 80s and 90s Agnetha's songs and Bjorn and Benny Polar Music 1972 album production, not to forget Benny's keyboard's and piano interpretations whatever year. Ooh! What unexpectedly wonderful treats... I am so thankful already to all of them doing all that along the years and decades and also about XXI's audio technology that allows such monumental sound quality restoration, nowadays' already made possible. We are living Amazing, gifted times indeed, if also challenging and still hard for many people in this planet as well. Wish we all are able to have Merry Christmas or Happy Festivities this time of the years.

I had forgotten about Frida and Agnetha on Radio Luxembourg - I 'm sure I listened to it back then, but I thought they did a little interview as well but I can't find anything on UA-cam. Radio Luxembourg was a great supporter of ABBA. Every week they chose a new single release and they played it on the hour, every hour for the whole week. They often chose ABBA for that.

Great research as usual Bobby. There are a few things I have not heard or seen so a bit of searching for me to do. One of my favourite ABBA photos is the one with them looking through snow covered windows. It took a long time to get a true Christmas song from ABBA but this time of year only feels complete with something ABBA related A new album, a TV special, or new book and the new calendar on my wall. Hey guys i know this is out of topic but since i watched a reaction video on Fernando a while ago there's something that came up again and has tricked me for ages.Well we all know Frida sings the lead but why if i listen carefully i sometimes hear Agnetha singing lead on the second verse and Frida second voice?' in the 'now we're old and grey Fernando"part?!(as also kinda featured in the video).I don't know but these 2 foxes have confused me again!may i hope for a clear answer?
5:15 i had that flexi disk from the Xmas 1982 issue of UK mag Smash Hits (which was rather hostile to Abba btw).Benny/Bjorn and Agnetha were featured giving Xmas greetings,no Frida.
It`s a pity that Abba never recorded a full Christmas album, would have been so good. Actually you could hardly hear Agnetha on little things, which was a real shame.

I’ve always heard an equal mix of A&F to the left/right channel respectively on “Little Things”.
Only for a very brief moment, not through the whole song, that's what I meant. Its still a good song though.
