Becky, that special album song on top of old Smokey, pick a bale of cotton, midnight special, or what Americans call “traditional arrangement”. Meaning that they don’t have any real known author because they were originally sung by American slaves I believe and adapted into folk songs later on. I believe ABBA chose those songs because they didn’t have to pay the royalties on them.
Omkring et flygel (Around a Grand Piano) was later renamed Alleycat. It was the signature tune of a TV show of the same name, hosted by Bent Fabricius Bjerre, where he would talk with musicians, and they would also perform. At the end of each show, the participants would hum while Bjerre palyed the tune, as shown in this video.

I've watched clips of that special before. There is a real chemistry between them, but the production looks amateurish. Bad camera work and positions and bad audio quality and mixing. It doesn't do justice to 6 fabulous performers.
