Yeah, whenever I see an older movie or show set in New York, and I see them, I go "ah yes....I remember those...." So when I watched Home Alone 2 for the first time, in probably 10 years, and they show the Towers, I thought "oh, right......he went there!"
I've only ever heard this song in Home Alone. Never have I heard it play on mainstream radio. It's such a shame because to me I rate it as my favourite Christmas song just ahead of Fairytale of New York. It's got such a great message to it and the saxophone part is incredible!
It makes sense since this song was made for Home Alone 2. Given the sound of it, I originally thought this was from the 60s or 70s when I first heard it, so it was a pleasant surprise to find this was made in 1992. That said, I'm surprised this was not as big of a hit as All I Want for Christmas is You. This is a much better song.

This is one awesome Christmas song that touches the heart. So many good memories during the 90’s. Family and friends were able to visit with love ones so much fun playing games laughing exchanging gifts. Not to mentioned the country food my mother served as a traditional family and friends gathered for A Merry Christmas Festivities dinner. My sweet loving mother life expired last year 2020 God called for my mother to enter into his home. God knows best but I misses her so much it hurts to the core of your heart when you loses your mother. Yeah, whenever I see an older movie or show set in New York, and I see them, I go "ah yes....I remember those...."
So when I watched Home Alone 2 for the first time, in probably 10 years, and they show the Towers, I thought "oh, right......he went there!"
NYC's skyline isn't the same without them.
The left laughs when they see them. Sad.
Unfortunate that America got involved with the same type of people who flew into the building
I've only ever heard this song in Home Alone. Never have I heard it play on mainstream radio. It's such a shame because to me I rate it as my favourite Christmas song just ahead of Fairytale of New York. It's got such a great message to it and the saxophone part is incredible!

It makes sense since this song was made for Home Alone 2. Given the sound of it, I originally thought this was from the 60s or 70s when I first heard it, so it was a pleasant surprise to find this was made in 1992.
That said, I'm surprised this was not as big of a hit as All I Want for Christmas is You. This is a much better song.
My mom passed away in 2021. This will always remind me of my first holiday season without her. Things felt so empty and alone without her. Not sure things will ever feel the same as they used to.

I feel like this song is quite underrated, but it’s one of my fav Christmas songs ever. I feel a special connection to it can’t event explain. A mix of feelings and happy memories from when I was a kid and those really happy Christmases.

This is one awesome Christmas song that touches the heart. So many good memories during the 90’s. Family and friends were able to visit with love ones so much fun playing games laughing exchanging gifts. Not to mentioned the country food my mother served as a traditional family and friends gathered for A Merry Christmas Festivities dinner. My sweet loving mother life expired last year 2020 God called for my mother to enter into his home. God knows best but I misses her so much it hurts to the core of your heart when you loses your mother. So, for each and everyone reading this message if your mother is still alive please enjoy every special moment with her.
You can always find consolation within any situation when you go to God and mommy. How many people are passing out gifts to show love not expecting a return gift? God has many blessings for you all.!
