So nice to see you showing these animals the way they are. Not monsters. Not beasts. Just wonderful mothers who do what all good mothers do. You guys show so much respect and handle them so gently. Wish I could be there helping.
I feel like the snake was lunging at him calmly cause the length she can reach to bite him is huge, if she really wanted too she'd have his face in a blink.
Jenn 'n' Juice she seemed like she was aware of who they were and wasn’t out to really get them just to be like hey hey be careful around me there’s babies!
Whenever a snake strikes at one of them, I will reverse the video 10 seconds.. them use the slow-mo option to see how close the snake gets to them.. cause the snake is so damn fast! I have to admit though, the guy (owner of the exhibit, don't know his name) does have some Ninja skills that he uses to keep from being bit🤔👌

Ben Dover he breaks a hole in them so they won't drown in yolk why do you think snakes have a lot of eggs, it's because some die of drowning in the yolk of the egg
Angelo Lira that's not strictly true, lots of snakes have much much smaller clutches of eggs. It's opnion, I think cutting the eggs to stop them drowning is a good thing, but the way he just pulls them out of the egg, clearly before they are ready, throws the adults round etc... Just go and watch some other videos, they've always been very very rough with them. All in the name of making money off the animals.
Love how he doesn't say a word either! He just pop's up in the video exactly when he is needed.. just smiles, calmly tracks the big ass snake back to it spot.. ALSO if you listen/ look close enough you can hear/ see the snake being dragged, then see his tail from behind Jaun! So cute🤣
really bad handling. watch how SBTV takes eggs then watch this. you and your staff keep randomly jabbing and cornering the snake in her already tiny tub. loud shouting, prodding and and poking is why the snakes are "grumpy". the eggs are so thin because the mums are constantly stressed.
Mila Marshall O agree. I know nothing about this process but I think he’s so busy trying to act all nonchalant and he’s wasting time. I don’t care how professional you are one can always get hurt. That snake judging by what I’ve seen is being kind ... at three of those she could’ve had him. I’m not really enjoying these guys. Old guys who think they’re invincible. I like watching the Youngblood (Chandler) handle the snakes better than these guys.
You are crazy. Because the snakes are tame for starters.. but also gave birth within the past 12 hours and hadn’t eaten in a while due to being pregnant.
Hell, she's guarding her eggs. She thinks they're trying to harm her babies. I know, I know, somebody will say it just a snake and they don't think like that. But the procreation urge is strong and most any mother will defend her nest.
The way this dude talks and acts, I feel like he doesn't spend any time with his snakes or even pay much attention to them. I think he just pays people to do everything and rakes in the profits.
Disagree. He definitely knows what he is doing by the way he acts and talks about the snakes. I'm pretty sure he knows how to handle snakes since we can see that he does not show much fear. He is also a snake handler which means he has spent much time with snakes.
Hello Joshua yeah he is a confident handler but im just saying he treats them pretty obnoxiously and it looks like they get no interaction other than to take their eggs or show them off

I understand that he had to move the eggs to safety in this video, but his other videos are just as bad... Have you seen the ones with BHB visiting him? He interrupts and talks over them constantly...

Fuck ya I'm going to continue watching you, your awesomely nuts and could get attacked by a snake at any second especially by your lack of giving a shit. Great job!
why cant u leave her with some of the eggs or give her fake ones? I feel very bad for her, she doesn't understand and since this happens more than once, it must be actually quite traumatic. :(
Kade Pettersson They have to take the eggs from her because if they did most of the eggs wouldn't be able to survive as they'd die from mold or bacteria and she can't provide enough heat for them all so they take them away to put into a hatching chamber so all the babies get a chance to live.
It really isn't traumatic for them at all and is actually better for their health. Mother snakes protecting their eggs are stressed and don't eat. They can actually lose a lot of weight during that time. When you take the eggs away they start feeding like normal again pretty soon after. You have to remember that snakes aren't motherly. Defensive towards eggs, yes, but not motherly. Once the eggs hatch they don't have anything to do with raising or caring for them. So when they're taken away suddenly, it doesn't really affect them like it would a motherly animal like a horse or dog.
Mother snakes may go off food while hatching their eggs. Giving them a fake egg that will never hatch will just means she will literally sit onthe eggs until she dies from hunger (which will take a very long time a a snake this size). The real reason why breeder takes eggs from snakes ASAP is so 1) they can put the eggs in an incubator 2) they can get the snakes to feed again and build up weight for the next breeding season
Its so big and it moves incredibly fast for its size. I always believed smaller snakes were the quick ones and the larger ones moved slowly... That makes it extremely terrifying ...
I respect this guy's passion for animals but his approach is careless. Especially when dealing with venomous snakes there's no room for error. I bet he's been bit before. Something a lot of herpetologists are too proud to admit

It amazes me that we will go to this trouble to protect another spices but we are willing to send are own children of to war to fight other peoples children.😎👍
there is a possibility, with the stupidly small enclosures they give the snakes. that she could crush them. also if she is startled enough or gets very anxious she may eat some
Yes there are reasons. For one it takes away the risk of her crushing some of the eggs. For 2 it's much easier to create the most ideal temperature and humidity climate in a smaller space like an incubator. Humidity is especially important for snake eggs because their eggs aren't hard like a chicken's, they're soft like thin leather. This allows for oxygen exchange between the eggshell. If it dries up the baby will die. That white substrate you see them putting the eggs on is called hatch rite. It's perfect for keeping humidity. Thirdly, it helps the mother's health. A snake protecting eggs is very on edge and stressed. She doesn't eat. Imagine an animal using all their energy to create so many eggs and still not replenishing themselves for months. Mother snakes are usually a little underweight after laying a clutch. When you take the eggs away she forgets about it and resumes a normal feeding schedule. She's no longer stressed and can put weight back on.
Jay I love all your videos and the babies I got are wonderful sweet snakes... Retics are my favorite snakes... I’m just worried what to do when they get huge... can Juan come help clean cages... lol... keep it up guys💋

do they stick together naturally or was that all from the broken egg?
She secrets a fluid I forget the name of that acts like a clue that sticks the eggs to eachother. This dries quickly and helps prevent rolling.

It's a bad sign when you have to disable your like/ dislike ratio

This guy might work with snakes but he is NO PRO!
I watch multiple other snake breeder UA-cam channels and I’ve never seen someone be so rough with the animals before.. just WOW
is there a reason why you cant leave her with the eggs other than to be incubated? i know nothing about snakes and im really intrested
there is a possibility, with the stupidly small enclosures they give the snakes. that she could crush them. also if she is startled enough or gets very anxious she may eat some
So there's no real reason.
It's not as profitable as incubating them.
Unbelievable how large they get. I forget how huge some are. Impressive, but so intimidating to me lol
They are the reason big snakes are now wild in Florida
Shawn Miller I was thinking the same!! What are those snakes good for?? Somebody is going to buy one and then it gets out or they will let it go!!!
