I was out at sunrise by myself brushing my teeth by a drainage ditch near Tikrit Iraq. It's head was a massive diamond shape and it had THE MOST BEAUTIFUL iridescent bright butane blue pattern overlaid on the prettiest background of buttery yellow. I've never seen such a magnificently beautiful creature anywhere. I've also never been able to find pictures or a description of this viper anywhere. It was truly unforgettable.
If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. If you're holding a wild/untamed snake, or go close to its nest, then, of course, it will bite you, because it's feeling threatened.

I’ve seen the San Francisco Garter Snake sometimes at the Lake I go to in New Jersey. I only really see them in Late Spring and Throughout Summer. I’ve kept baby ones in captivity. They’re very interesting specimens and fun to watch.
They are only found in the Peninsula south (San Mateo and maybe the very Northern tip of Santa Cruz County) of San Francisco and San Francisco (maybe).
I used to skin them and make things like boots , belts and hatbands out of them, then ind take the meat and grind it up and make snake cakes for breakfast or a sandwich and a sandwich for lunch and a bag or lunch and a sandwich and then I can get a little more cheese sandwich and a wrap for lunch and then I can get you a little more lunch then I can get it to y'all go get home I'll be home in a little more than noon and then I can get it back to you later bye thanks for the good morning bye thanks again I'll see you soon thanks again I'll talk soon thanks I'll see you tomorrow love y'all bye thanks again for your help

Excellent selection. My personal faves for beautiful snakes are the gaboon viper, the palmetto morph for the corn snake, the schegel's blind snake and the brahminy blind snake.
We just rescued two blue racers and the male was very colorful like the one in the picture. We set them free on our property. A local lady wanted someone to "get rid of them" and didn't care if someone killed them. We love snakes so my man caught them and brought them to our place so they'd remain safe.

I guess the favorite that I have seen in the wild, and have had as a pet, is the California king snake. I have removed dozens of California king snakes from the highways and turned them loose on friends farms, to control mice, gophers, and rattlesnakes. Captive bread California kings are common in the pet trade, and make excellent pet snakes.

When my mother was a little girl, (now in her 70s) she said that while visiting some relatives, she fell asleep and woke to find no one around. She freaked out, and started to cry while looking for everyone. She got out of the house and she went to a field to look for everyone since they were planning to go there earlier. While in her way and crying, she said she saw a huge snake crossing the path she was walking. She said she stopped cause she got more scared when she saw the snake. She said it was extremely scary to see the snake stop and raise up half of its body from the ground. Then she said she noticed the color of the snake. It looked black or dark brown but had an irradecent shimer to it that showed with the sun light. She said that the snaked continue its journey and went thru a fence made of rocks. When she found everyone she told them, but they didnt believe her cause they had never seen a snake like what she had described. So, i wonder if she saw a #9 snake
I've caught the San Fransisco Garter snake twice. The first time was about 38 years ago at Dillon Beach CA. It was hissing and striking. I've never seen a garter snake as hostile as that one since.

Actually, I saw the San Francisco Garter Snake, I never knew what it was until now. I was only in preschool in northern California, and I was near the fence, and out of the bushes I see it. Nature itself kills off more animals and species than humans probably ever will. Humans are an extremely essential part of the ecosystem as well oh wow big shocker. Actually, I saw the San Francisco Garter Snake, I never knew what it was until now. I was only in preschool in northern California, and I was near the fence, and out of the bushes I see it. It was brilliant, with its blue, and black and red, though I only remember the blue and black mostly. Nobody believed I saw that "blue striped snake," but I'll never forget it.

no not really believe it or not humans barley cause any problems with the ecosystem. Mother nature has complete control and she decided what lives or dies or goes extinct. Nature itself kills off more animals and species than humans probably ever will. Humans are an extremely essential part of the ecosystem as well oh wow big shocker. It's not and when we are no longer needed we will go extinct. Nature knows what shes doing she will continue to do so.
