Depends on if you prefer the insane peak of Jeanty at his specific role or the never before seen versatility and toughness of being a full-time two way star player. I personally value the ladder more
Travis Hunter's season looks awfully similar to Champs' 1998 season. Champ won the award for best defender in college football while also leading his team in scrimmage yards and receiving yards.
@JosephZepeda champ wasn't effecting the game like travis is, you can legitimately argue he won them the baylor game alone, he was the only reason they stayed in the game, travis has a lebron like impact on the team, jeanty is like kobe with a lot of great stats, but he's not effecting wins and losses like travis, they lost to oregon with him having a good game
Jeanty is the most exciting, game changing player in college football since Reggie bush. People knock his conference, he’s only played one half of the only conference game they’ve played so far. Averaging about 11 yards/carry!
It all comes down to personal preference , in terms of the “ most “ exciting and game changing you can easily argue that’s Travis Hunter because he literally impacts both sides of the ball and is literally the best player they have on both sides of the ball lol scores a touchdown , then gets an interception . It all comes down to personal preference
Hunter is absolutely a very good player but he’s not the first to play multiple positions at a high level. If he was leading the nation in receiving YPG and interceptions I’d have to agree with you but that’s not the case. Definitely above average at receiver and DB though, so no disrespect. Boises offense literally leads the nation in PPG in large part because of Jeanty and his ridiculous 11 YPC. He’s a home run waiting to happen after multiple broken tackles every time they give it to him.

He’s on pace with Barry Sanders records with less carries and that was over 30 years ago. l Don’t think we’re changing each others minds and that’s ok. Hope both continue playing at a high level so we can have these discussions when season is over.
Facts: Hunter very good wr or db. He’s not the best at either; However, Ashton Jeanty is the best running back of all time arguably. On pace to break Barry Sanders records only playing about half of the game. (Sanders had multiple games of 30 and 40 plus carries. Ashton had 13 carries last game)
