Geno Smith had great pass protection throughout the game, but again making fundamental mistakes throwing the ball. The Seahawks never got the running game going because they’re playing from behind, and Geno has to realize that he’s gotta play a perfect game to beat San Francisco. It was actually kinda of dumb in that situation. The Seahawks still had all 3 TO's and a FG would've only made it an 8 point lead. If he just scores the TD, the 49ers are up by 2 TD's with under 2 minutes to go. The best way to burn clock is scoring TD's. Had the Seahawks been out of TO's then it would've been smart.

If we beat Chiefs I am sure we will beat the Cowboys but if we lose against Chiefs I am not sure we could beat Dallas no matter we have their number
Chiefs coming off a bye 😂 the 4skins took a beating for that W 😂 if I'm a wise person I'd put my money on Chris with the spread
@@Moms_crushwell the Niners are getting a mini-bye week with this Thursday game. I think it’ll be a solid outing with my Niners hopefully coming out on top!
@@CeeCee222 that mini bye week means nothing when you going against the niners daddy mahomes
SF has to clean up its special teams and DB play. Some talk show guys have been ripping into Purdy, and while he has room to be better, the 49ers slow start isn't really on him. Good win tonight to move into 1st place.
Totally agree, Special Teams sloppy, and 9er's secondary needs to tighten up
So nice to know that Brock Purdy would always continue to find his usual targets whenever they're open!
Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk, you name them.
Anyway, another great win for Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers!
0:53 dude was literally sitting on his face…
Ayo
I'm proud of the rookies and the new kicker🤙🏾
The Seahawks still can't beat Brock Purdy
He’s now to the hawks the same way Russ was to us
@@JahNuhThunDeeTheOneAndOnly Serious question.......but....if you put Russ on this team instead of Geno. Do you think Seattle wins this game and other games like the Giants game? Mind you Russ is now a 2nd starter on the Steelers. But may not matter to you...but you view?
@LiamDeege, even with a new coach they can't. Terrible team still.
@@boohere2 Russ is cooked, Pete hid his weakness and Russ isn't mobile anymore.
It would be interesting what the steelers would ask for. Russ would make a difference in this offense. Defense out there too long. But the Defense gave the niners plenty of 1st downs. Time and time again brock tore the hawks Defense apart. @@boohere2
But we still missing McCafrey.
We're missing a heck of a lot more than that.
and Greenlaw. when they're both back, watch out!
Those Seahawks jerseys should be their full time uniforms. I always forget how sweet those are 🔥
Purdy's mobility, the way he moves around the backfield (beyond the pocket), occasionally runs, or throws on the run/off the backfoot, actually reminds me of a young Joe Montana. Although Montana didn't use shotgun formations.
Go 49ers. They won. I'm so happy.👍😊😀😄
Normally they play town to the competition in these prime time games and I'm not a butthurt Packers fan from years of playoff losses been watching 1997 super bowl alot lately funny seeing young Kyle shanahan next to his dad the run game whisperer except terell Davis wasn't product of the system
@@eric3298 I'm a big 49ers fans since the 80s. I'm supporting my team all the way no matter what.😄😀😊👍👼🙌🙏🌅🌈🌄☀️
Congratulations to the 9ers on a tough win
I like that they aren’t simplifying the logos on the bottom anymore
The throwback unis are 🔥
Purdy is a great QB and shows exactly why its almost impossible to pick who will be successful in the big leagues. He wasn't given a chance by any scouting metrics, yet here he is in the pros leading his team to the Superbowl in the previous 2 seasons and displaying a pocket presence far beyond his years
Geno Smith had great pass protection throughout the game, but again making fundamental mistakes throwing the ball. The Seahawks never got the running game going because they’re playing from behind, and Geno has to realize that he’s gotta play a perfect game to beat San Francisco. He’s struggled these past couple of games
Geno Smith had a bad 34th birthday
Geno is overrated. He's missing the consistency and dynamic decision making. I don't see us going far with Geno as a QB. How many years do you need to improve and prove you are capable?
I don't care what peaple say anymore geno is not him he is avrege at best he has good receivers a good running game but still making costly mistakes like that. I would rather give a chance to a young qb like we did with russel Wilson or what 49 doing with purdy and if it doesn't workout we tank for a qb in the draft
Geno always been cheeks
I’m a hawks fan and I totally agree 🤦♂️ dude just happens to be lost at the most needed drive of the game
Gurrendo sliding to give the niners a better chance to burn out the clock instead of scoring his first TD has already made him a cult legend
Kyle wanted him to score lmao
Lol and juz still scored great win!
Wasn’t he tripped up?
Disagree. He should have scored. Had we had a turnover, Seattle still had life and could have scored. Take the points until the game is locked, then slide
The fact y’all didn’t show the Warner forced fumble is crazy work. Fred on fire this year. Almost had an int as well.
DPOY !
Fred's always on fire. 😂❤
@@Linda-y9h oh of course I be knowin lol but he’s now being more “in the eyes of media” most of the time outside of niners fans (me being one) most try to say roquan is better and I know a lot of people agree but a lot try to disagree and this year proves who is better. He single-handedly keep the whole team in the game every game
Fred is the only one who shows up on defense. Everyone is just standing around watching him work imo.
Well they had 9 unskippable ads that they had to get in, which is what we're all here for. We don't need to see any stupid football.
I’m a huge niners fan so I was worrying even with a 13 point lead at the half so glad we could score in the 2nd
Such a fun game overall and the love the retro gear as well
Purdy really is a top 5 QB in the league. He's running for his life half the time and he's still finding his receivers 🔥. If this team can just get healthy, they'll be a problem come playoff time
Purdy really is quick over 10
Definitely top 5
Yeah but can he play without superstars like Isaac Guerendo and Juauan Jennings carrying him?
Edit: Okay, so since a LOT of people didn’t realize that my comment was satire, let me make it obvious here. Just goes to show how far some people have gone to discredit Purdy if my original comment here was believable.
Purdy is smooth with the ball
No way in hell. I’d put him somewhere around 12-15.
Purdy, Kittles & Mason future HOF.
Maybe Kittle. Never go full retar
The 49ers showed up strong in Seattle!
Dominating performance on both sides of the ball. What a statement win!
Ruined Genos birthday
dominate on defense? really!!!!
Statement win vs. an average Seahawk team, uh no 😂. Next week should be your statement win.
Dk Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are some of the best recievers in the game and Geno cant even manage to get the balls in their hands accurately.😂@raybands4081
As a Hawks fan I can’t even be mad, 49ers played a good game
It was adorable when Purdy ran all excited when samuel scored the touchdown
This kind of thumbnail is what we’ve all been waiting for. No spoilers!!!!
The Chiefs would've gotten that punt call.

It’s a fact that 49ers vs Seahawks is always an electric game to watch.
Seattle really needed to trade up into a quarterback this year. Having even Rattler or Travis ready for 2025 would've been better than being stuck with Geno for three more years cause the 2025 class is barren.
Cam ward baby..
We'll probably end up having Zach Wilson, Mac Jones or some other reclamation project.... it's a depressing thought.

With Purdy taking 30-40 percent of the Cap each year. It will be hard to bring back these names.
I have been a Seahawks fan since they have started, and Steve Largent was the most valuable and reliable player of all times. Tyler Lockett has stepped into those shoes. Thank you both of you for your hard work and your love of the Seahawks. Your The best. They don’t get the recognition they deserve
Purdy had himself a good game last night. I was fearful that the Niners would blow another double-digit lead but thankfully they did not. They should be glad that the Seahawks are a bit banged up because if they were at full strength; I don't know if the Niners hold onto the lead. But, good win nonetheless. We'll see if the Hawks are more inspired in Round 2 of this legendary NFC West rivalry.
You can’t trust Geno Smith , he threw 2 INT’s on his birthday. Who does that 😂😂😂😂
